**What do you like best about Dstillery?**

Their audience segmentation and customization

**What do you dislike about Dstillery?**

How long it takes for the audiences I have ordered to hit our DSP profile. Granted, this likely has less to so with Dstillery and more to do with LiveRamp, but I had to put something here. Also their platform has gotten worse over time when looking at audience insights.

edit: the platform has gotten progressively worse, data isnt being properly compiled and any outreach leads me to believe no one knows whats going on with their platform.

**Recommendations to others considering Dstillery:**

Test them out, I have had a lot of success with them. I test audience partners all the time and Dstillery Custom AI beats other audiences in over 80% of our tests.

**What problems is Dstillery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Audience generation through lookalikes is always something we are trying to improve on when we don't have CRM/1st party lists to inject into our campaigns. Their AI lookalikes have been a great resource to improve that. Not only do we get strong demo data on users, but the audiences perform well in our campaigns.

i thought the sales team did a good job at presenting but once signed up i felt like support was lacking

support is not ready available and i think that is hard as a buyer to feel a bait and switch on the support and follow ups to get the sale and then post sale to be very distant

when we need to make audience pacakges to get to our dsp and scale issues its hard to figure it out

The performance. Across our lead gen campaigns for clients, performance is what drives investment, and Dstillery has a great track record of consistently being a top 2-3 performer. The CPMs are also very competitive with their peer set.

**What do you dislike about Dstillery?**

No real downsides in my opinion. The breadth of targeting segments available is quite strong, the performance is typically great, and the service we get from our Dstillery team is top notch.

Dstillery has a lot of custom options when it comes to audience testing. Paired with their more off-the-shelf data segments, we typically see strong performance for clients.

I like using Dstillery becasue it allows me to access a pool of data segments relatively easily. 
The ease of using their website to search and deploy these segments is also great.
I think the best part about using Distillery is the use of their pixels which can be used to build audiences for future campauigns as well.

The UI of their website seems a little dated.

Nothing, I think the only thing that we disliked at first was the whole needing to apply piels on clients sites, but that has been fixed.

Dstillery provides an array of 3rd party data sets for D2C an B2B agencies and advertisers. Our agency has driven strong advertising performance for our clients using Dstillery's data.

There truly are no complaints about Dstillery. We buy "off the shelf" third party audiences and we have a relationship with Dstillery to develop custom audience segments as well. Their customer service has always been stellar.

Dstillery helps our agency to easily identify granular third party data segments that we can apply to advertising campaigns across our client roster. We can also review the forecasted size of each audience which is helpful.

We started using Dstillery audiences from off the shelf audiences available in TTD DSP. We found the performance strong and reached out to get some more custom audiences built. Their customer service has been incredibly strong, they were eager to show us the self service tool or would build out a custom solution that we required. They were already integrated into the various DSPs we work with which made workflow seamless. The performance has remained strong and consistent throughout the years.

Some data solutions for TVe/CTV are only available through the use of their PMP/DealID where they run the audience against the inventory.

Dstillery helps create unique audience data that is not available from off-the-shelf libraries. Our clients often require specific/niche audiences that Dstillery helps us find.

I see Distillery as AI ad targeting partner with a vast package of programmatic targeting and Audience awareness solutions to reach help reach the unique audiences and goals for the accounts I service. I love the ease of use being that they have availability as PMP’s  or TTD  integration and can access Display and Video across most device types. I assume based on the walkthroughs I have had with their team that implementation would be a breeze. Thier team is also very responsive and helpful when it comes to outreach and questions we may have.

**What do you dislike about Dstillery?**

A pain point (That may be specific to my agency) is that since rates and prices vary per product it makes it difficult for us to potentialy use more than one product as we typicaly like to have a specific floor price.

DStillery has a lot of audiences and can provide different confidence levels, which can be fine-tuned in campaigns. They're easy to access and quickly provide new audiences for a myriad of services. Also have great and attentive customer support that we can reach out to.

**What do you dislike about Dstillery?**

These different confidence levels can become overwhelming with all of them and it can be harder to know what is or isn't working from week to week. Additionally, we often do not see a correlation in the higher-touted more confident audiences and higher sales.

There is always plenty of scale from the Dstillery segments. The segments are always easy to find in platform. The Dstillery reps assigned to my company are always extremley helpful and nice

The Dstillery segments do not always perform the best. Often  they are being outperformed by other providers.

Dstillery is helping us target a very specific user base for our various compaigns. Dstillery is helpful because they have a lot of data and the segments always scale well!

I love being able to go to their Audience Search page and explore which audiences they have available.

They have a lot of great audience offerings, but it is not very easy to see associated costs in the audience search page.

Helping me find audiences that I need quickly. It can be challenging to go to many different partners who do not have a search feature readily available online.

The ability to make custom ai audiences based on site visitors as well as the many prebuilt audiences to help with targeting for the variety of clients that we have.

Some times it can take a while (a week) for the custom AI audiences to syndicate to our DSP.

Finding the right audience to serve ads to.  The custom AI audiences provide good engagement as well as being large enough to spend budget in a variety of geo sizes.

Datasets have generally performed really well. We have tested ID free targeting in the past and saw strong results despite the phasing out of cookies.

The client service team is helpful at making audience suggestions and finding the right target to hit our client KPIs. Our team has recently found a targeting tactic through Dstillery that has proven to be successful across all clients.

**What do you dislike about Dstillery?**

More pre-build audiences for when our clients need a tight turnaround. Not urgent but this would be helpful from time to time when our clients need a same day implementation that's not in our current platform.

Finding audiences that hit our clients primary KPIs. We have found a lot of success with the keyword search model across all clients and has proven to be a top performer regardless of the industry.

Love our reps and their openness to brainstorm and hear our clients' challenges. They always have a creative way of going about recommendations, and they listen when we say something isn't within our wheelhouse.

Honestly, don't have much I don't like about Dstillery! Troubleshooting is easy with their team, they are always available to give us insights even if it doesn't mean it will 100% lead to us using their audiences or solutions. They are overall great partners. Also love Ali as our Rep!!

Cookieless days are ahead, and every time we talk to Dstillery we hear of a new way they are paving the way into this future. Also, going outside of just your off the shelf audiences within the DSPs is always something we strive for, and their audiences are perfect for those strategic ideas.
