Email delivery is reliable. Basic spam filter. **What do you dislike about DreamHost Email?** Web Interface is a little hard to understand when you first start using it. Setup on phone or desktop (e.g. Outlook app) is cubersome and not automated. You have to Enter smtp servers manually and most users have trouble with that. No multi factor authentication for security. **What problems is DreamHost Email solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Dreamhost Email to offer basic emails to our clients when we create webistes for them. It allows them to be professional when emailing when having a low budget. ### 2. When using the webmail client, I liked the signature options and the ability to set up different identities. It's been nice to have a custom domain email address that's connected to my website account. **What do you dislike about DreamHost Email?** At first, I had been forwarding everything to my Gmail account, which worked great until I realized my Dreamhost plan had a size limit so I needed to keep an eye on that account too. I stopped forwarding and started using the webmail client instead, but it is clunky and very slow to load and search all folders. But I did like knowing that I was working with the original emails instead of forwarded versions. I recently set up IMAP to Apple Mail and I think it will be much better this way. **What problems is DreamHost Email solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows me to have a custom email for my business so I can be more professional when emailing clients. ### 3. In some cases, we replace the desktop client with it. **What do you dislike about DreamHost Email?** In the last month, we suffered some outgoing email server maintenance outages. That was not reported to administrators. In the 10+ years that I've used DreamHost Email, I can count on one hand the number of times there's been an outage. I imagine that there will be updates in the future that brings in new features. There is a lot less features available than there would be like in Outlook or Google, for example. **Recommendations to others considering DreamHost Email:** I would reccomend this serviec to others to get an e-mail address with a personalized domain name. **What problems is DreamHost Email solving and how is that benefiting you?** By using DreamHost email, I was able to have an email specifically with my name and domain of the site that I need it for.
