**What do you like best about Double?**

I love how modern and user-friendly Double is. It's clean and aesthetic, making it fun to use and easy to understand where everything is. It's great for personalizing and white labeling to fit my business branding. I just like how easy and not overwhelming Double looked. The initial setup was easy, which makes it something I could use long term.

**What do you dislike about Double?**

I think there could always be better integrations between it and Xero since that's what I use most now. I always have to log back into the Xero and Hubdoc account to integrate it/refresh it. It also doesn't really send uploaded documents and questions and attachments from my transactions in Xero and Hubdoc to Double and vice versa as well as.

**What problems is Double solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Double to keep all my client questions, documents, and bookkeeping items in one place, saving me from sending a bunch of back-and-forth emails.

**What do you like best about Double?**

It is an indispensable tool for bookkeeping firms. Right now my favorite feature is the Accruals feature. I love the accuracy it affords with very little effort. It is so easy for extensive Prepaid Expenses or Deferred Revenue to fall through the cracks, and this no longer happens with the Accruals feature. I am able to show a client exactly what is sitting in that account, and they often are able to catch something they forgot to mention (a prepaid expense that was should have been recognized, for example)

**What do you dislike about Double?**

I honestly can't think of any downsides right now. They are always improving their features with things bookkeepers and accountants actually need.

It has helped to streamline and standardize my close process. It's also a great management tool for making sure my team is on track and that they get the support they need from me

**What do you like best about Double?**

Double is amazing! The software is packed with features and continues to add on. They are all so valuable features and not features that no one asked for. They work so closely with their customers and listen to the firm's needs. They are so quick to provide support too. Double saves me mental energy and time. Accountants love checks and balances and black and white and quality checks and Double does this amazingly. They have added so many features through the years without increasing their base price. They have added premium features and added tiers, but they have never taken anything away.

I use to not like that the UI wasn't pretty, but now I don't care.

Communication with clients on my time and without anything slipping through the cracks.

**What do you like best about Double?**

The most helpful features I have found with Keeper are: a more streamlined process to get feedback from clients on hard to categorize transactions; the ability to easily communicate with my team directly tagged to the transaction/ account in question; the reports that make account review quick and thorough.  The customer support and training is outstanding.  It was very easy to integrate my current clients and my current workflow.  I use Keeper on a daily basis with my team and my clients.  I really appreciate the ability for my team to track hours by client and by project.

**What do you dislike about Double?**

I haven't found anything I didn't like yet.

**What problems is Double solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeper really helps with gathering information from clients (even directly from their staff so that I don't have to bother the owner).  I know how much time my team is working on certain tasks.  I can feel confident that I have reviewed the books thoroughly before sending monthly reports.

**What do you like best about Double?**

I appreciate how Keeper allows us to handle all of our clients' monthly accounting tasks within a single program. I also really value how easy it is to communicate with clients about any questions and receive timely responses.  Annual 1099 filing requirements are easily fulfilled with the ability to acquire W-9 info from vendors.

**What do you dislike about Double?**

I haven't found anything I disliked about the program.

There are ongoing communication challenges, as well as issues with handling W-9 information. Additionally, making sure that both vendor and customer details appear on every transaction remains a concern.

I LOVE two things the most: The ease of asking "what is this for" to the client and the automated reminders. In the past, I'd overthink when to send a reminder and now I don't need to. I just send the reminders.

It's super easy to add a client, to remove a client and to get clients to use it. 

I use it all day, I'm in Keeper more than I'm in my email.

**What do you dislike about Double?**

I dislike that it's kinda clunky and there is so much color going on that it doesn't feel clean and crisp. But these are small complaints.

What I like most about Keeper is how seamlessly it keeps all communication—both with my clients and my team—in one centralized location. My favorite aspect of Keeper is the transaction follow-up and uncategorized transaction management. It simplifies the process of reviewing and categorizing transactions, making it easy to ensure that all financial data is accurate and up-to-date. I love using Keeper.app, especially the transaction follow-up feature. It would be great to have a mobile app that allows accountants to easily add and update information on the go. This would make managing tasks and client interactions even more convenient.

**What do you like best about Double?**

Huge fan of Keeper! We've been using it for a few years now and love how much it helps us with month end closes, client communications and organizing our tasks. The quality control checks for month end we're able to do much more easily with the help of Keeper's built in transaction filters. The client portal is simple and easy to use for both bookkeepers and clients, making those huge excel sheets a thing of the past. We also love how Keeper is always valuing their customer feedback and improving Keeper.

**What do you dislike about Double?**

Sometimes I wish the UI was a little prettier, but its simplicity makes it easier for people to use. I hope they have public API in the future as well.

**What problems is Double solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Client task management, month end quality checks, receipt management, 1099's, client communications, onboarding new client intake, and firm tasks. We're looking at the time management and considering using it. 

It's benefiting us having such a great tool to use for month end closes and keeping track of tasks.

**What do you like best about Double?**

We implemented Keeper several months ago and right away I was pleased with the efficiency and ease of use. The Keeper team has gone out of the way to make sure we understand how to use the software and are getting the most bang for our buck. It's sped up month in close, helped us catch errors we wouldn't have before, and streamlined client communication. Plus we have gotten so many comments from clients and board members about how nice our reports are. I am beyond pleased with keeper- support is great, product is great, price is fantastic, clients love it, and they keep rolling out fixes and more features. Couldn't recommend them more!

No complaints. It's better than I expected and continues to exceed expectations.

Keeper helps with client communication, team communication and speeds up month end close for us. I originaly set out to find a way to communicate with clients about missing transactions. Keeper does that but has so many other features that I couldn't go without now.

Keeper allows me to communicate directly with clients about uncategorized transactions and share documents easily. Reports can include metrics and executive summaries, which help clients better understand their financial data. The W9 request feature makes it very easy to collect signed W9s from vendors and contractors directly through the platform.

**What do you dislike about Double?**

Updating close status must be done invdividually and cannot be done in a batch. Intercompany journal entry transfers also must be done one at a time. A feature allowing multiple at once would save a lot of time.

I'd like more flexibility with report titles, subtitles, and per-client rounding options.

I'm still using ClickUp for task management as I am unable to customize tasks in Keeper how I want.

I would also like an archive for past announcements instead of having to delete them or just having one long, ongoing list of announcements.

**What problems is Double solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeper streamlines client communication by providing a centralized portal where I can discuss uncategorized transactions and share documents easily. 

Advanced reporting features are included eliminatimng the need for another monthly reporting subscription.

The W9 request feature makes it easy to get W9s from clients' vendors and contractors. It saves time trying to get them to email a signed W9 on their own.

**What do you like best about Double?**

I especally love the client portal for easy Q&A, document sharing and bill/receipt entry. Customer service is very responsive, and the developers are constantly providing improvements and new features.  I use it every day - my Chrome window opens to QBO, Keeper and Gmail.

**What do you dislike about Double?**

The lack of continuous sychronization (like Drive for instance) causes a break in workflow because I cannot upload a file to a transaction I just created directly in QBO without leaving to refresh the data. This becomes a little less of a bother as new options are added to the Receipt feature, thus reducing the reliance on entering directly to QBO.

Getting answers and documentation from clients on a regular basis.
Keeping tasks for myself and questions for my clients organized so nothing is forgotten.

Ever since our first onboarding call, Keeper has been with us every step of the way! They make life easier for our team's bookkeepers, CPAs, and clients. Their team is always releasing new features and taking input/feedback from users.

**What do you dislike about Double?**

Currently a user can only send a client emails/questions through Keeper from a single email address. I wish I could select to send it from my own email address so that if the client responds to the email, it comes directly to my inbox, and the client easily knows which team member is reaching out to them.

**What problems is Double solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeper allows our team to create filtered views of their clients so that they can easily identify the stage of the close that clients are in, and who is remaining on their queue. Managers can quickly discover how the closes are progressing for bookkeepers, what items are outstanding from the client, and have access to notes from previous closes, as well as the ability to tag teammembers in comments within a specific item. So when a teammember clicks on the notification, they are taken directly to the issue rather than having to hunt for it.

The ability to communicate with my team and clients while closing the books has been invaluable. It saves us so much time to address the root cause of issues we come across.

Not a whole lot honestly. It would be great to have the ability to process emails through Keeper to keep our communication in one place

1099's use to be a massive time suck for our firm. The ability to track it accurately during the year saves us a ton of time during 1099 season. It also has allowed us to standardize our financial packages and processes for all of our clients.

**What do you like best about Double?**

As a bookkeeper, I've been using Keeper since July 2024 and it's completely transformed my workflow. This platform is a true time-saver, streamlining processes that once required tedious manual work.

One of my favorite features is the "Ask My Accountant" function. It's significantly reduced the time spent creating and managing Google Sheets for client questions. The mass categorization tool is incredibly efficient, allowing me to quickly and accurately assign transactions. Additionally, the 1099 preparation process is seamless, saving me countless hours.

The white-labeled client portal is the perfect finishing touch. It provides a professional, branded experience for my clients, while also giving them easy access to their financial information.

Keeper is constantly evolving, actively listening to user feedback to deliver continuous improvements.

If you're a bookkeeper looking to boost efficiency and enhance client satisfaction, I wholeheartedly recommend giving Keeper a try.

I'd like to see a calendar view option for tasks in addition to the KanBan board and list view. 

Also, the client dropdown menu could be improved by excluding archived clients to avoid confusion.

**What do you like best about Double?**

I love that keeper allows us to edit QBO transactions in their software. It makes it so incredibly easy to recode transactions in bulk as well. We can batch reclassify different aspects of each transaction that QBO itself doesn't offer. I also love the client communication aspect of Keeper. I can easily send out an email blast to all or specified clients. Additionally, I love the different views we can customize to see exactly what I need to see and my coworker can have her own view. The task view is also pretty amazing and completely customizable to my needs. The 1099 feature that is available in each close makes it so much easier for me to compile a list of my client's contractors and request missig W9s all from the same place. Amazing. The last and my most valued feature is the Client Portal. It makes it so easy to ask my client questions on each specific transaction. I've never used anything else that is as helpful as the client portal. We can even use the client portal to ask non transaction related question such as request for statements and reciepts. Literllay a life saver. I love Keeper

Sometimes the practice email gets disconnected but its usually simple to fix.

Communications with clients. Super easy to ask my clients for what I need in one place that keeps records I can go back into. I can also keep track of who has not completed their tasks from the close view very easily.

It's perfect for client communication and automated requests, and the whitelabelling is the cherry on top!

Hard to say because it's so amazing, but I'd love the metrics to be easier to manipulate to make more custom reports for clients that are tracking unique KPIs

The Keeper Client List view gives me insight into how our team is working through monthly closes and any additional tasks we've assigned. We're able to quickly see where each client is in the month end close process and jump in and help when needed. I love that I can customize the views!

I don't dislike anything about Keeper! The customer service is amazing and fast and we love the product!

We couldn't tell where each client stood in our close process easily with the product we used before Keeper and that led to many nights of worrying and then hours of my time trying to figure out where each client was in the process. Keeper allows me to see easily where each client is in the close process because we utilize task level and close level statuses. The communication feature between us and our clients AND internally between bookkeepers and managers is wonderful. I can jump in and review comments and questions and offer insight if needed.

Keeper makes my workflows so smooth and easy. I have clients that take me less than 15 minutes to complete their end of month review. Communication with my clients is so seamless, and the team is always coming up with ways to improve the tool. I can't speak highly enough about Keeper and recommend it to every bookkeeper I know!

I mostly use Keeper for the Month End Close and for the Client Portal. Keeper makes it so easy to ask clients about transactions. And it's so easy to quickly review the work that has been done and make any necessary changes.

The tool makes it easier to close the books on time each month. I used to track all my work in a spreadsheet, but it took so long and was really manual. Now, I do all my month end close work in Keeper and it syncs back to Quickbooks automatically.

It's not the prettiest dashboard. Setting up the account the first time was tricky, but someone from Keeper walked me through it which was helpful.

**What do you like best about Double?**

This amazing software brings a new level of organization and work-flow-planning to my small business.  I provide accounting services (NOT TAX) to multiple clients, and Keeper keeps it all straight.  What do I have to do for each client?  Which staffer is going to work for which client?  What's left to do before we close the month?  All of that and more is neatly organized in Keeper.  It literally runs my operations department and provides an easy path to on-boarding for new clients and new employees  alike.

Customer support is excellent.  The implementation couldn't be easier -- just click to integrate it to QBO and you're on your way.  My team uses it hourly, daily, constantly!

**What do you dislike about Double?**

Not much to dislike.  It is a young product so it continues to change and evolve.  I suppose that might be frustrating to some, but the changes are all good and the user community is highly involved in directing the modifications.

Tracking what needs to be done, by whom, how and by when... it's a giant to-do list that makes everything seem easy and organized.

Where do I even start? This software has revolutionized our month-end close process and task management. It makes reviewing my staff's work a breeze by highlighting the items I was already manually checking for. Review notes are seamless with the comment ability available. Communicating with clients and coding unclassified transactions has become a breeze. The timekeeping system is more accurate than what we were using before because it prompts my staff to change clients and they don't need to remember on their own.

I don't dislike anything but obviously, there will always be wants for additional features. My biggest want is the ability to integrate email accounts so we can create tasks and attach client email communication more easily. The company does take feedback and work on client requests daily.

Keeper has a seemless integration with QuickBooks Online.  My clients review the data, answer questions, provide feedback, and upload documents directly into the platform, making it so easy to categorize transactions and run financials directly from Keeper.  I've tried so many different ways of getting my clients to respond and send documents outside of email, and absolutely nothing worked... except this!  I couldn't imagine not using Keeper for my clients' portals.

**What do you dislike about Double?**

It can be finicky if you change website builders.  For instance, I built a new website from Word Press to a different platform and we had a heck of a time figuring out why Keeper was no longer working.  Part of it was user error, but things changed about the address the app needed to go to that I didn't know about.  If you're thinking of creating a new website with a different builder, contact Keeper once it's finished to ensure that the app still works.

Keeper is providing me a way of transmitting documents confidentially without the worry of transmitting through email.  No matter how many disclaimers I place on my email, they would still upload and send it to my email address.  This has made it very easy for them (especially the one that's not too technically savvy) to upload documents without any issues.

Where do I start?  My customer's are more responsive to my requests since incorporating Keeper into my business.  I am more organized and better able to keep track of deadlines.  And best of all, Ben and Team really listen to their customer's and quickly implement new features or improve on existing ones based on feedback from all of their clients.  If only all app developers were this in tune with their customers.  I also very much appreciate the weekly feature updates and monthly Keeping Up with Keeper webinars.

The Google integration.  I despise gmail.  I know if you use gmail, the integration is awesome but I am not a gmail fan.

Where do I begin? Keeper is so helpful in many ways. I love the communication part the most! It makes it so easy to ask your clients questions about sensitive data without having to email/call/text. The monthly closes are incredibly helpful in keeping me organized and consistent with my clients. Each one is different, but Keeper allows me to customize each client's close process and keep notes so me and my team can always stay on top of everyone. All bookkeepers should be using Keeper. It's hands down the best app to keep us organized and communicate efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Double?**

My only complaint is the files section is a little tricky to use, but once I got the hang of it, using tags and questions for my clients (the only way I could find to add files to my clients' profiles), it was not that bad.

What it solves - communicating with clients efficiently, catching simple mistakes, making processes and categorizations consistent, looking more professional. How it benefits me - I can do so much more than I thought possible. I don't know what I would do without it!

Keeper has been a game-changer for managing my business. I have been able to create SOP's inside of Keeper for daily, weekly and monthly closing tasks to be checked off by my bookkeepers inside of each client portal. Nothing is forgotten and I am able to track what each employee is doing and where we are in the process of closing clients' accounts at a quick glance.

Keeper is also amazing for your clients. We are no longer downloading uncategorized transactions into Excel, editing excel to make it look pretty, saving and then attaching to a email. We are able to mark transactions we have questions on with one click and then send an email template within Keeper to let them know they have questions in their portal with another click or two. Once we have the answer back from the client, we are able to code that transaction in Keeper. It's a one-stop shop! Huge time saver. I honestly don't know how we would live without it at this point in time.

Also, if you ever have a question or are having issues, they are super responsive.

**What do you dislike about Double?**

Any issues we have had were communicated to Ben and his staff. They were resolved immediately. I honestly could not ask for better customer service or product. I like everything about Keeper. It really is a fantastic tool for my business.

It helps us ensure that employees follow the bookkeeping procedures we put in place for each client so nothing is overlooked. Our Bookkeeping SOP's for each client are in Keeper itself - not just some book.  
It has solved the problem of keeping all customer communication in one place. Super-easy and fast to get clarification on uncategorized transactions.
Managing closes has become so easy. We know the status of every client, what we are waiting on, and it gives us the opportunity to pass on for approvals.

Clients appreciate the ease of answering questions and uploading documents. Teammates appreciate the ability to adjust each account based on client nuances. I appreciate the ability to keep all client-related questions in one place. I also like that my team can send white-labeled questions to my clients. It's a dream come true for the bookkeeping profession!

If I had to pick one thing, I would pick that the client file organization is a bit underwhelming and clunky. I appreciate having a feature for client uploads, but hoping this is an area that will be improved upon in the near future.

Ease of keeping all client questions and requested documents in one place. Ease of asking questions and receiving answers in a timely manner. It is logically set up, left brain style.
Most bookkeepers and accountants are left brain analytical thinkers, so why are all the workflow apps set up for right brain people?

I love that I can log in and see very clearly and logically in seconds what has been and needs to be completed.

The setup looks like columns and rows, you can also change the view to Kanban if you need to use that view.

They are constantly updating, tweaking and keeping it cutting edge, by taking suggestions from it's many, many accountant and bookkeeper users.

I highly recommend this!!!

Frankly, I like everything about it.
I know that it will grow and be even better as time progresses. I get weekly updates, which tell me they care about accountants and bookkeepers.

Keeper is a must in my firm. It has changed the game for us. Using Keeper allows us to easily track progress of monthly closes and the Keeper team is always looking for ways to improve the app. They listen to our feedback and continue to improve the software.

I currently think the file storage and organization needs improvement. I also would love to have Keeper integrate with Google Docs and my calendar. I would love to have Keeper be my one stop shop for everything client management related. It is close but not quite there.

When I review the transactions by subsections, it helps me catch transactions incorrectly categorized. Now that there is a Keeper extension for QBO, I get to ask questions to clients directly from QBO. That is very helpful too. I love that clients can also upload to their portal. It is just a perk to stay organized.
