DJCockpit is a browser-based SaaS platform developed by Tom Stroh, an active wedding DJ since 2008, based in Jülich, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The platform is built exclusively for self-employed DJs and event DJs who need a complete business management solution without juggling multiple tools or subscriptions. DJCockpit combines DJ-specific CRM with fully integrated accounting in a single web application. Core features include booking and client management, customizable inquiry forms, digital quotes and contracts with e-signature, invoicing with automatic numbering, integrated accounting with DATEV EXTF v700 export, CSV bank import for all major German banks, equipment depreciation (AfA) calculation, EÜR income surplus overview, and a tax reserve calculator. German §19 UStG small business exemption and standard VAT are both fully supported with SKR03 and SKR04 chart of accounts. Event-day tools set DJCockpit apart from general booking software. DJs can manage live music requests via Spotify QR code with real-time sync, run a photo wall for guest uploads with projector slideshow mode, use a digital packing list customizable per venue, and generate an automatic event briefing PDF including real driving distance calculated via OSRM routing. A location library stores venue details, contact persons, and standard equipment lists that populate automatically for each event. DJCockpit solves the problem of DJs needing separate tools for bookings and accounting. The platform runs entirely in the browser — no download, no installation, no technical knowledge required.
