"Efficient and User-Friendly: DISCO eDiscovery Streamlines Legal Document Review."
What do you like best about DISCO eDiscovery?

DISCO eDiscovery streamlines the process of reviewing and managing large volumes of legal documents, making it highly efficient. The AI-driven search and auto-tagging capabilities significantly reduce the time needed to find the most relevant materials. Its interface is sleek, responsive, and user-friendly, so even those without extensive technical expertise can navigate it with ease. Additionally, the collaboration features and analytics support teams in staying coordinated throughout investigations or litigation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Correct solution not a minute too soon"
What do you like best about DISCO eDiscovery?

We started a using an another tool when a specific litigation began in 2022. It was fine at first but slowed over time. Eventually with about 2 million pages and over 2TB of data, it had slowed to a crawl. We switched to Disco mid litigationa couldn't have been happier. The user interface was better, the speed was consistent and fast. The Disco customer support did all of the database transition for us so getting from the initial platform into Disco was easy. Once we started using DIsco, we realized how devoid of user intuitive tools the first platform had been. We were just wholly unaware of what an eDiscovery platform should look like. We're not professional litigators so we don't plan to have a need for eDiscovery again but if we do, we'll choose Disco. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DISCO eDiscovery?

We had some issues with document versions when producing exhibit sets. I think there could be some streamlining about setting preferences for which version is more important than another when a document comes through multiple sources (plaintiff files vs defendant files vs expert files etc). That's a very specific issue, otherwise we were extremely happy with the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cutting Edge Technology and Unparalleled Customer Service"
What do you like best about DISCO eDiscovery?

CS Disco works tirelessly to improve users' experiences. CS Disco has created interfaces that are intuitive and fun to use. Additionally, I have personally seen that it has received user feedback and found ways to address the feedback in improvements to how users can interact with its systems and how its systems function. Finally, CS Disco has developed cutting edge artificial intelligence and has integrated it seamlessly to save a ton of time - as examples, making AI-generated summaries and timelines available that are jaw-droppingly insightful, and making it effortless to find and cite source documents that have been loaded in its platform, on which its AI relies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DISCO eDiscovery?

So far, it has been difficult to find an efficient way to pass on the cost of CS Disco's platform to clients (based on data usage, operations, etc.). However, I have been told it is working on collecting the usage data that would be necessary to pass on the costs and making the reporting options available to allow law firm accounting departments to extract the data for billing purposes. "DISCO User"
What do you like best about DISCO eDiscovery?

DISCO is easy to use but also has support ready and available to help with any issues or concerns. I also really find the analyzer page very helpful when trying to find information during a very specific date range. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DISCO eDiscovery?

I would like to be able to search document title names and search a specific bates range as opposed to just the bates identifier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helpful and Very Intuitive"
What do you like best about DISCO eDiscovery?

I have had to use both DISCO and other eDiscovery programs during my time at the firm, and it is honestly night and day how much more intuitive and manageable DISCO is. It is also amazing having very responsive people on call whenever needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DISCO eDiscovery?

I think at times searching for Bates seems difficult/unintuitive with what we put in the search bar, so I think a bit of simplification in the search, or clarification on it would help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Generally good experiences with some caveats."
What do you like best about DISCO eDiscovery?

The best part of using DISCO is the formatting and display of all documents in batch with color coding and "tags" that indicate the file type. This makes navigating much easier when trying to sift through and find particular types of documents, especially when production consists of hundreds of duplicate file types and the most relevant documents will be a different file type than usual. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DISCO eDiscovery?

Sometimes I experience some difficulties when trying to visualize my tagged documents in an orderly manner. I don't readily see a way to group the documents in one subcategory to access later (for example, making a folder to hold all "warm" documents). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"DISCO gives you the tools you need to not be buried in data."
What do you like best about DISCO eDiscovery?

Customer support is like no other.

It can increase the speed of our review of voluminous productions by using AI and word searching technology. AI will cut down on the volumes of records to be reviewed.

The AI feature will remember your recent searches and will remember the content and context of what you marked relevant. You can also ask it to do a search and it will give you a list of records under that search term with the context that you are looking for and not just the words. AI will prioritize your review and push the most relevant documents to the front of your review queue and the irrelevant ones to the back.

• It keeps emails together and will identify the complete chain with attachments so you can avoid reviewing hundreds of duplicate emails.

• The word searching function is better than what you will find in Adobe and OCR’ing as it allows you to word search with an expander or quickly using West-law-style Terms & Connectors.

• It has an interactive visualization dashboard with names contained in emails that identifies witnesses and other communication patterns from emails.

• It also has many more functions for searching an organizing and tagging your documents. It will automatically generate a privilege log if you mark something with a privilege tag.

• The bate stamping function remembers your last number and takes seconds to bates and make document sets ready for production.

• It makes all types of files word searchable including excel, word, TIFFs, PST and outlook files.

• DISCO’s team can also assist in word searching with AI to cull down the amount of data needed for review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly AI Platform"
What do you like best about DISCO eDiscovery?

DISCO has a user-friendly AI platform that enables the end user to summarize documents and ask questions scoped to a custodian enabling quick preparation for depositions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DISCO eDiscovery?

In linear review, there is up to a three second delay when loading the next document including the coding panel and metadata panel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to use, intuitive e-discovery software"
What do you like best about DISCO eDiscovery?

I think the platform is very intuitive and easy to use. the foldering and tagging structure just makes sense - unlike some other programs that overcomplicate things. Searching is also easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DISCO eDiscovery?

The only downside I see is that there seems to have been a lot of turnover in project management so I'm never quite sure who to contact. That said, their team is very responsive and gets me to the right person to talk to if something comes up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The user interface and review features help make quick work of large document productions. And case builder is an invaluable tool for preparing cases for trial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DISCO eDiscovery?

Compared to its peers there is nothing that I dislike. The searches are easy, the platform does not lag, viewing options are plentiful and they even have AI assistance integrated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
