Disco Platform is user friendly where features can be easily found. On the other hand, it also works well when the project involves different staff and can track the status of review effectively.

I find the DISCO Platform helpful for organizing and filing files from attorneys who leave our firm. It provides a quick way to set up files and move information over, making it easy to find files and emails under attorneys' names, which helps us keep better records. Once I got the proper training, I found it easy and efficient to use. There's lots of DISCO training available, making the platform even easier to use. My team seems to love DISCO as well.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

Nothing

  ### 4. Great Tagging for Organizing Records, but Search and Attachment Tagging Need Work

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

Tagging documents helps organizing voluminous records.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

The search system does not always capture everything and takes some creativity in search prompts. Also, the tagging used to default to tagging a document's attachments when I tagged a document, and it no longer does this by default, which is frustrating to remember to turn on every time.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Discovery for lawsuits, which helps sift through large records.

  ### 5. Efficient and User-Friendly: DISCO eDiscovery Streamlines Legal Document Review.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

DISCO eDiscovery streamlines the process of reviewing and managing large volumes of legal documents, making it highly efficient. The AI-driven search and auto-tagging capabilities significantly reduce the time needed to find the most relevant materials. Its interface is sleek, responsive, and user-friendly, so even those without extensive technical expertise can navigate it with ease. Additionally, the collaboration features and analytics support teams in staying coordinated throughout investigations or litigation.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

From my perspective, I don't have any significant complaints.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DISCO eDiscovery streamlines and speeds up the document review process during legal cases or investigations. By leveraging AI-driven search, filtering, and predictive tagging, it minimizes the time required to manually sift through extensive data sets. This approach makes it more straightforward to pinpoint crucial evidence, handle compliance obligations, and work collaboratively with legal teams. Ultimately, it leads to considerable time and cost savings while enhancing both accuracy and decision-making.

  ### 8. Easy and Intuitive

The upcoming release of the AI with all new databases

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

Can we have the ability to sort by Exhibit Number in the Exhibit Sets module?

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is so easy to ingest our own documents and do our own productions without the need of the vendor doing it.

  ### 9. It's Very Easy and Efficient to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

I like placing the hyperlinks into the Bates Nos. on a Word document to help people access them easier.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

I don't like that Excel spreadsheets download with the file name instead of the Bates Numbers.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 11. Correct solution not a minute too soon

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wesley B. | Chief Financial Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2025

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

We started a using an another tool when a specific litigation began in 2022. It was fine at first but slowed over time. Eventually with about 2 million pages and over 2TB of data, it had slowed to a crawl. We switched to Disco mid litigationa couldn't have been happier. The user interface was better, the speed was consistent and fast. The Disco customer support did all of the database transition for us so getting from the initial platform into Disco was easy. Once we started using DIsco, we realized how devoid of user intuitive tools the first platform had been. We were just wholly unaware of what an eDiscovery platform should look like. We're not professional litigators so we don't plan to have a need for eDiscovery again but if we do, we'll choose Disco.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

We had some issues with document versions when producing exhibit sets. I think there could be some streamlining about setting preferences for which version is more important than another when a document comes through multiple sources (plaintiff files vs defendant files vs expert files etc). That's a very specific issue, otherwise we were extremely happy with the platform.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Disco put us in a position to be successful in litigation/mediation by letting us discover and produce dozens of exhibits that were specific and strong for our case out of 2 million possible documents.

  ### 12. Cutting Edge Technology and Unparalleled Customer Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

CS Disco works tirelessly to improve users' experiences. CS Disco has created interfaces that are intuitive and fun to use. Additionally, I have personally seen that it has received user feedback and found ways to address the feedback in improvements to how users can interact with its systems and how its systems function. Finally, CS Disco has developed cutting edge artificial intelligence and has integrated it seamlessly to save a ton of time - as examples, making AI-generated summaries and timelines available that are jaw-droppingly insightful, and making it effortless to find and cite source documents that have been loaded in its platform, on which its AI relies.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

So far, it has been difficult to find an efficient way to pass on the cost of CS Disco's platform to clients (based on data usage, operations, etc.). However, I have been told it is working on collecting the usage data that would be necessary to pass on the costs and making the reporting options available to allow law firm accounting departments to extract the data for billing purposes.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the volume of documents and testimony in today's litigation, and cost-conscious clients, it is essential to compete to be able to search, review and digest efficiently. CS Disco has been able to incorporate approaches that I have found to be best practices in the industry to ensure its users have an advantage - in competing with other law firms both in providing a great value to clients, but also substantively, in finding and efficiently using source content that competitors might never see with other platforms.

  ### 13. Given the choice, I would exclusively use the DISCO platform for every matter.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2020

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

Same as the above! DISCO is still great.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

My views remain the same as before - the platform itself is excellent.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As noted above, I am able to complete tasks faster, more independently (i.e., without relying on the vendor), with greater ease and with less frustration. This has created time and cost efficiencies. I also just genuinely enjoy using the platform more, which is important when spending long hours each day using it!

**Official Response from Caroline Hall:**

> Hi, Oh my goodness reading your review made me so happy! Thank you thank you thank you for review. We LOVE hearing that we are having a positive impact on your work and your quality of life.

You may already know this, DISCO was founded by a litigation team fed up and frustrated with the then-existing clunky tech and feeling held-hostage having to rely on vendors. They felt strongly there could be a better way, so they decided to build something better, easier, that offered more control, and was more enjoyable to the user -- so your feedback really resonates with us. Seriously, so great to hear!

Thank you for taking the time to share your story and feelings with us.

Gratefully,
Your DISCO Team, written by Caroline Hall, Client Advocacy Manager

  ### 14. DISCO User

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barbara L. | Paralegal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2025

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

DISCO is easy to use but also has support ready and available to help with any issues or concerns. I also really find the analyzer page very helpful when trying to find information during a very specific date range.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

I would like to be able to search document title names and search a specific bates range as opposed to just the bates identifier.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to quickly review documents for production but also find them later for use in a deposition. Some of our files are huge, so finding a needle in a haystack is not so difficult when I have DISCO.

  ### 15. Helpful and Very Intuitive

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nishad F. | Litigation Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

I have had to use both DISCO and other eDiscovery programs during my time at the firm, and it is honestly night and day how much more intuitive and manageable DISCO is. It is also amazing having very responsive people on call whenever needed.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

I think at times searching for Bates seems difficult/unintuitive with what we put in the search bar, so I think a bit of simplification in the search, or clarification on it would help.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping organize and navigate large amounts of documents, which has been massive for dealing with these large cases we are handling

  ### 16. Generally good experiences with some caveats.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew H. | Counsel Attorney, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

The best part of using DISCO is the formatting and display of all documents in batch with color coding and "tags" that indicate the file type. This makes navigating much easier when trying to sift through and find particular types of documents, especially when production consists of hundreds of duplicate file types and the most relevant documents will be a different file type than usual.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

Sometimes I experience some difficulties when trying to visualize my tagged documents in an orderly manner. I don't readily see a way to group the documents in one subcategory to access later (for example, making a folder to hold all "warm" documents).

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding the most relevant documents in a discovery production and being able to tag them for reference based on the type of issue they relate to and how relevant they are to those respective issues.

  ### 17. DISCO gives you the tools you need to not be buried in data.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brooke M. | Paralegal, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2024

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

Customer support is like no other.

It can increase the speed of our review of voluminous productions by using AI and word searching technology. AI will cut down on the volumes of records to be reviewed.
The AI feature will remember your recent searches and will remember the content and context of what you marked relevant. You can also ask it to do a search and it will give you a list of records under that search term with the context that you are looking for and not just the words. AI will prioritize your review and push the most relevant documents to the front of your review queue and the irrelevant ones to the back.
•	It keeps emails together and will identify the complete chain with attachments so you can avoid reviewing hundreds of duplicate emails.
•	The word searching function is better than what you will find in Adobe and OCR’ing as it allows you to word search with an expander or quickly using West-law-style Terms & Connectors.
•	It has an interactive visualization dashboard with names contained in emails that identifies witnesses and other communication patterns from emails.
•	It also has many more functions for searching an organizing and tagging your documents. It will automatically generate a privilege log if you mark something with a privilege tag.
•	The bate stamping function remembers your last number and takes seconds to bates and make document sets ready for production.
•	It makes all types of files word searchable including excel, word, TIFFs, PST and outlook files.
•	DISCO’s team can also assist in word searching with AI to cull down the amount of data needed for review.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

Learning the program is the biggest hurdle.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sorting volumes of data.

  ### 18. User-Friendly AI Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa P. | Attorney, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

DISCO has a user-friendly AI platform that enables the end user to summarize documents and ask questions scoped to a custodian enabling quick preparation for depositions.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

In linear review, there is up to a three second delay when loading the next document including the coding panel and metadata panel.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I practice exclusively in Mass Tort litigation, and often manage tight discovery deadlines. The AI platform allows me to ask questions about a deposition candidate and the platform pulls a handful of documents directly relevant to the question at hand. This enables review of custodians to be much quicker than a standard linear review of every document.

  ### 19. Easy to use, intuitive e-discovery software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shannon C. | Shareholder and Attorney, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

I think the platform is very intuitive and easy to use. the foldering and tagging structure just makes sense - unlike some other programs that overcomplicate things. Searching is also easy.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

The only downside I see is that there seems to have been a lot of turnover in project management so I'm never quite sure who to contact. That said, their team is very responsive and gets me to the right person to talk to if something comes up.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DISCO is just so much easier to use than other platforms for eDiscovery. It saves time, frustration, and ultimately saves my client money.

  ### 20. DISCO is mission critical to effective representation.

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

The user interface and review features help make quick work of large document productions. And case builder is an invaluable tool for preparing cases for trial.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

Compared to its peers there is nothing that I dislike. The searches are easy, the platform does not lag, viewing options are plentiful and they even have AI assistance integrated.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding needle in a haystack liability documents with relative ease. Building time lines from large swaths of documents. Even producing large scale client documents, after conducting a review is easier with DISCO and its managed services.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

Sometimes I wish that it could have functioned a little faster.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving the problem of managing large volumes of discovery and making it easier for us to focus on our litigation.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

I thought the case-builder tool was a great asset for DISCO, and I generally think the search capabilities are very powerful.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

It took more time training to learn how to use the DISCO tools than other e-discovery platforms that I have experience with.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It stores very large quantities of documents and makes them easily searchable and tag-able. It helps me keep track of important documents in large litigations that involve hundreds of thousands, if not millions of documents.

  ### 27. Very likely to recommend DISCO e-discovery because of how hands on the team is.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Colleen B. | Paralegal, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2024

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

How effecient and kind everyone is when there are questions. It's alos pretty self explanatory after an quick introduction to the database.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

I think DISCO should just pull an area offline if there are issues with it. Last time there was an issue with Productions and I was given a workaround that ended up not being useful so I had to repeat the productions - if they would have just pulled the production capability until the fix was issued, it would have been more effecient in the end.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

organization of files that were originally organized.

  ### 28. Intuitive, well thought out platform

I don't like anything about the Disco eDiscovery platform. I want to suggest that filters should be available as options in it.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can easily export documents, and there are many options available for doing so.

  ### 31. Intuitive and Easy to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Celeste M. | Director of Litigation Support, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2024

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

When compared to other platforms, I have found DISCO extremely easy to use. I can quickly teach my new team members how to navigate DISCO, allowing us to save our clients time and money. All features are readily accessible and the menu is straightforward as opposed to endlessly nested menus and vague descriptions. While some platforms require many steps before achieving simple tasks and leave room for error, DISCO allows me to create users, roles, searches, views, search terms reports, and productions in a few clicks. DISCO's intuitive features help to ensure that productions are flawless and brings your attention to any issues before the production runs, streamlining the quality control process. Other platforms simply run the production, require extensive quality control checks, and force the production be redone when issues are found, wasting time and money.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

My biggest headache with DISCO is that it does not allow for the export of lists of ingest sessions, ingest details, loadfile mappings, productions, production details, overlays, review teams, mass action logs, review stages, etc. This feature would extremely helpful for documentation. As it stands now, if I am asked for a list, I have to create the list manually, which can be time consuming, tedious, and leaves room for error.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The big push is on AI right now, it's not something that really is benefitting us right now, but I'm hoping we can begin to utilize this more in the future.

  ### 32. The product is easy to learn and more intuitive than others I have tried

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

I like that the user interface is intuitive and things like searching are not too complex but still have power

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

I wish some of the search functions were easier to do without knowing if I am doing it wrong (i.e., more instructions)

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing and reviewing large amounts of discovery

  ### 33. Best eDiscovery and Deposition Management Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jen B. | Senior Litigation Paralegal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2024

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

There is a lot to like. Speed, ease of use, lots of helpful features, love the timeline, Case Builder (the deposition tool) is amazing -- and critical for designations during trial.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

Not much that I dislike and they are small things that are far less significant than the pros. I would like to be able to populate the Begdoc field with filename when I import natives without a load file. It would save me the time of creating an overlay file. And I would love to see some attention given to the Exhibit Sets tool, which, as I understand it, is very underutilized by Disco users. It has the potential to be very powerful for trial exhibits, deposition exhibits, and even motion practice (exhibits to declarations).

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The translator tool has been very helpful with translating content in different languages. The ability to @mention team members in Document Notes is great! The ongoing development of Timeline and the integration of Timeline with eDiscovery and Case Builder is terrific.

  ### 34. DISCO is a great eDiscovery Tool - Highly Recommended

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Travis D. | Chief Technology Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2024

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

I like the ease of use, especially for the attorneys who utilize it infrequently and would normally need a refresher course on other tools. Quick, simple, and very effective.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

I do not have many issues with DISCO other than convincing clients to utilize something they are used to. Other than that as an MSP I would like a little bit of granularity on the billing/invoicing to make it easier for me as a partner.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are not many. DISCO is a very cost-effective and efficient way for my clients to browse and cull tens of thousands of emails and documents.

  ### 35. Very Intuitive, Easier to Navigate than Relativity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2025

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

It's very easy to filter through docs. The easy filter by custodian. Very easy to do a complex filter to exclude docs. The loading time is at least 10 times faster than Relativity. The tags and shortcuts to tag docs are very easy to use and convenient.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

Saved searches are easy to work with. Difficult to exclude docs that already coded. Couldn't find a way to exclude docs already viewed or coded.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

reviewing docs, finding key search terms within docs

  ### 36. Disco E-Discovery Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

Documents are OCR'd; documents can be batch organized. There are a lot of features and disco university is useful as well as asking staff questions.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

It is hard to find a certain doc number - you need to input a long formula; there should be an easier way to search by doc number. This was important because we had over 70k docs to review.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving capacity on server issues, OCR'ing in batch; organizing metadata

  ### 37. Great help in reviewing voluminous records

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

It has a very under firendly interface and doesn't take too long to get the hang of it.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

I can't really think of anything. This is my go-to whenever we have a large case.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving the issue of maintaining organized production files and sorting through initial records. Before having DISCO it was a tedious task to tag all records received from our clients.

  ### 38. Great document hosting platfomr

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2025

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

- very user friendly. interface was easy to get used to
- lots of options and customizable features such as creating new tags, being able to tag other users to alert them of a comment on a document etc.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

exporting sub-categories of documents (ie. documents with the same category or tag) was sometimes difficult

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used the platform to host a large number of documents for discovery

  ### 39. Easy to Navigate, Easy on the Eyes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

I like the look and I like how user friendly it is.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

The high-speed uploader takes a long time to appear.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a review platform, it helps me to compile documents.

  ### 40. DISCO is a great tool!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

The search options and filters and intuitive which makes finding documents in large datasets easy.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

It can take some time to figure out shortcuts, and it can be slow to apply mass tags.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficiently managing large datasets.

  ### 41. Leading e-discovery platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2024

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

The platform for documentation is highly user friendly and adapatable to needs.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

There is nothing that I dislike about DISCO e-discovery.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collation of large volumes of data.

  ### 42. With Disco I know that I am backed by a team of professionals ready to resolve any discovery crisis.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sergiy M. | Associate Attorney, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2024

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

Disco provides a clear picture when it comes to billing. There are no hidden costs. What you see is what you get. In the event that additional costs do arise, the Disco team seeks authorization prior to performing any task that may incur said additional cost.

Additionally, Disco offers phenomenal support during more complicated discovery projects. The availability of "office hours" is a remarkable feature, which I had to resort to many times and will continue doing so in the future. Likewise, Disco University is a helpful tool. Disco University provides access to many easy-to-follow video guides ranging from teaching users the basics to how to use the basics to perform more advanced tasks. Disco offers a one-hour training session to help familiarize the office with the Disco software, which I found quite enlightening.

The software itself is easy to use and easy to get used to. Furthermore, the AI embedded in the Disco software provides additional assistance to fulfill discovery goals. With some practice, the AI can reduce the man hours required for document review and productions, especially those productions with a substantial amount of privileged communications.

I know that Disco has my back throughout all steps of the discovery process, whether it is ingesting documents, scheduling and performing data collections, or troubleshooting issues. Disco is simply the way to go.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

Certain features can be enhanced. In particular, the manage folder section. The limitation on creating subfolders is irritating at times. Likewise, there should be a feature that allows you to folder family documents without exiting the document itself, the same way that you can apply tags to the entire family or use the family window to select certain documents to apply tags to.

Also, if you use the filter tab on the left to select a main folder with multiple subfolders, Disco recognizes that the user wants to see all documents within the subfolders. However, if you use the search builder and apply searches to the main folder, Disco yields 0 results because no documents are stored in the main folder itself. Is it possible to do a "group folder" field of sorts or something that allows the search builder to recognize that although the main folder doesn't have documents, it contains subfolders that do?

Additionally, Disco users would benefit from a "Saved Searches" tab in the menu bar. As is, the saved searches option is very helpful, but it does end up getting messy, and trying to navigate the saved searches from the search bar becomes tedious at times.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reducing the amount of time it takes to search for a specific document. It provides a space to store all of the documents and peace of mind knowing that those documents will not be inadvertently deleted.

  ### 43. Easy to use, but could be improved.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Courtney W. | Senior Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2024

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

It's very user friendly compared to other platforms.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

It is missing some of the features in other discovery platforms.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to easily tag documents.

  ### 44. Stands Out Among eDiscovery Vendors

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2024

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

CS DISCO was easy to learn to use, especially with the support provided by their staff. The platform is also more aesthetically pleasing and faster than other discovery platforms I have used.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

Haven't encountered any significant downside.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Preparing documents for production, allowing easy sorting and exporting.

  ### 45. Extensive Capabilities

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2024

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

It is user friendly, had a lot of features, and the DISCO support team is responsive.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

It is difficult to understand how to use advanced features such as AI tagging.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Narrowing down tons of data (primarily emails) to find documents that are relevant and responsive.

  ### 46. Reliable platform with useful features that are easy for almost anyone to use.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2021

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

I use Disco almost daily. I like the user Interface, customizable tagging options, and that making productions is a breeze. Ingesting native or load-file documents on your own is also very easy, and the improvements to word clustering and visualization have added value to the product. Early case assessment has been added, which is also an improvement over prior versions.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

The cost is sort of high for certain clients to withstand, and the 30-day cancellation period is less than ideal, but I understand the company is willing to work with special pricing on a case-by-case basis upon discussion. It would also be nice to have the ability for individual users to highlight search terms globally across documents they are reviewing, but just show the highlighted terms to the individual user, not all users.

**Recommendations to others considering DISCO Platform:**

It's a good choice.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Document collection, production, and review; hot doc identification; and exhibit tracking. It takes less time to accomplish all of these tasks with Disco. De-duplication and threading allows us to review fewer documents, and we get to the relevant emails quickly when we leverage AI predictions and word clustering.

  ### 47. Robust, intuitive and user-friendly eDiscovery solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda H. | Senior Paralegal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2023

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

DISCO is a powerful tool that has allowed our firm to streamline and reduce manual labor associated with document reivew, trial preparation and deposition annotations. Two of my favorite DISCO features are the exhibit sets and the timelines. With the exhibit sets, you can build your exhibit sets for depositions, arbitration, trial, etc. This tool allows you to order your exhibits as you would like them presented and generates an index along with the exhibits themselves, making exhibit lists quick and easy. Timelines allow you to create case timelines and link directly to supporting documents in the eDiscovery database, allowing a case team real time access to important facts and events. Another thing that really stands out with DISCO is their continuous development of new features and tools. Client feedback and feature suggestions are taken very seriously and drive platform development. DISCO involves its users in the development, testing and roll out of new features.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

There are sometimes inaccuracies with billing so each invoice should be reviewed prior to approval for payment. Additionally communication between the billing department and the client could be improved upon. I do think that DISCO is working on this by assigning clients a Client Success Manager who can serve as a bridge and assist clients with resolving any issues. DISCO is also one of the more expensive eDiscovery vendors on the market, but the offerings are so robust, that it is worth the cost in my opinion.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DISCO is streamling our document reivew through the use of targeted searches and AI. DISCO is also streamlining the annotation of depositions through the use of Case Builder, allowing us to tag, annotate and create video clips for use at trial without the need of multiple different tools.

  ### 48. DISCO is a lifesaver, and it keeps getting better. Our practice would not be possible without DISCO

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2023

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

It is quite intuitive, and customizable. Standard document review is effortless, and individual users-- if authorized- are able to easily create their own systems for organization/annotation. Reports are simple to compile. Exhibit sets are a breeze. Productions and production templates are also very user-friendly. The customer support is attentive, collaborative, and knowledgeable.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

DISCO is not cheap, which makes it difficult for our contingency-based practice. That is all I can say- my prior dislikes have, over the years, been well-addressed by the various improvements to the platform, and it now meets or exceeds our expectations across the board.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There is no way that a practice with 2 attorneys, one paralegal, 3 assistants and assorted co-counsel from other firms would be able to effectively review, analyse, and produce databases of over 1 million documents without a tool like DISCO.

  ### 49. Finally a user friendly eDiscovery database

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Courtney P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2023

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

The most important feature of DISCO to me is how user friendly it is. With having past experience with other platforms, DISCO is so much easier to navigate and learn.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

The only issues I have had with DISCO are inputting load files for certain document productions. However, DISCO University does offer some assistance in guiding users through load file ingestions.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DISCO is solving the problem of large scale document review, search, and organization. Prior to that, there wasn't much of a solution when it came to larger scale cases with a large volume of documents.

  ### 50. DISCO is fantastic!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denise F. | Paralegal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2022

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

DISCO is very user-friendly. With a small amount of training, you can get started on your project and the Help topics are very helpful if you cannot figure something out.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

I really cannot think of anything I dislike. We have had a great experience with the program and DISCO's customer service.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have cases that contain a lot of documents and DISCO makes it easy to organize our documents. The search feature really helps us drill down and find the most relevant documents.

**Official Response from Caitlin Ward:**

> Hi - Thank you for your amazing review and feedback! We know cases with a lot of documents can be difficult to deal with and are so happy to hear DISCO Ediscovery is helping you manage them and find what you need. In particular, it’s fantastic to hear our search tools help you drill down and find relevant documents quickly. Our team takes great pride in making DISCO technology easy to use so thank you for letting us know we are achieving our goal! Gratefully, Your DISCO Team.
