"Great Cloud VPS hosting for a fair price "

What do you like best about DigitalOcean?

The DO interface is great, you can find any feature in your control panel with just a few clicks. Creating a new server is very fast and the process is comfortable. I use Digital Ocean hosting together with serverpilot which is a great combination. Very stable and fast! What is maybe the best feature for DO, is the great source of how-to articles. You can vind there and answer for almost every issue. The DO support is very responsive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DigitalOcean?

My rating would be a 9 or 10 if the backup feature would be better. There is not manual backup feature, so if you need to install something new you need to wait until a automatic backup is done. Do has promised to make this feature better, but during the last year nothing is changed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering DigitalOcean:

Use a DO server together with ServerPilot if you need that server for website hosting. DO has also a DNS tool which I'm using for a while. I'm not sure of this is the best choice (2 DDOS attacks on their name servers during the last 18 month). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is DigitalOcean solving and how is that benefiting you?

I can host many websites with each server while using the ServerPilot control panel. Using a DO VPS is much better than most other VPS services I've tried before. For one of my customer I'm using a server for huge file downloads. He likes the server because the upload and download speed is very fast. I'm very glad with the different data center locations.
