What problems is DevCycle solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have traditionally built in-house feature flagging (in general, release / ops / permissions etc..) which resulted in more code to manage and a sub-optimal experience for our product team. DevCycle gives us this ability with about 10 lines of code, properly segmented between environments and an interface that empowers our product (and support and ops) teams to participate in the active features.
We have traditionally tied our feature flagging data in with general app analytics. Unfortunately, this made it hard to be accessed and easy to ignore. DevCycle splits it out in an easy-to-digest, accessible way so that we use the data to make business and technical decisions.
Finally, we white-label a product that presents very different feature sets across customers. Moving to DevCycle has solved all of the pain associated with real-time management of features with white-label deployments. It not only avoids the cringe of thinking about showing a customer a feature, but the product team can safely turn a feature on and off during a call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
