I love how DevCycle allows us to streamline feature rollouts in our legacy application, especially as we transition towards Agile development. The modular nature of feature blocks functions greatly enhances our workflow, allowing us to deploy components with precision while toggling functionalities without the need for redeployment. The Environment and Tags sections help us stay organized, and the Targeting rules are impressively flexible, enabling us to add numerous conditions as needed. The ability to create variations for each feature is extremely powerful, and the initial integration documentation was helpful, making setup easy. Additionally, the audit logs are invaluable for tracking changes efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find it somewhat challenging to manage multiple variables for a feature in DevCycle. When there are more than five variables, each with different conditions, it becomes difficult to handle them efficiently. I feel this aspect could be improved to better support complex feature-specific conditions. Additionally, the initial setup was a bit challenging because we were integrating it into a legacy Angular 9 application, which isn't fully compatible with the latest SDK versions. We needed to work around some limitations and adjust our implementation, which added complexity to the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
