I like Demoly’s AI features most. I can ask questions about a video, and it points me to the exact moment or explains what happened in the walkthrough, so I don’t have to search the timeline or watch the whole video. I also like that I can blur a credential in the recording afterward without re-recording the video, and that I can add zoom-in and zoom-out effects to demos. The interface is intuitive and easy to use, and the Chrome extension makes setup quick and simple. I also appreciate the free tier’s recording minutes and unlimited video uploads. I’d like more minutes in the free tier, and I’d like the animations and editing options to be expanded. The UI is already very good, but it could be more intuitive. I’m also looking forward to having integrations, since I currently use Demoly on its own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I used Demoly to record guide videos for a client. I found its AI really useful. I didn’t expect it to perform well across more than 100 videos, but it performed exceptionally well. I also liked the voiced walkthroughs, which increased the speed of recording multiple videos. Demoly solved the problem of clients struggling to figure out how to do things from the guide videos I shared, so I plan to use it for more upcoming clients. I feel like Demoly’s voiced demos need improvement. They map the steps and generate a voiced walkthrough, but they don’t work to my expectations, so I had to edit the script after a few recordings. I like that I can record my products, connect the videos in one project, and share a link with clients, users, and my team. They can ask the AI questions instead of calling or asking me repeatedly, and it can search the videos and take them to the exact timestamp where a feature was explained. That saves me time. I can also create guides and walkthroughs just by navigating my product, without recording my voice, then share or embed them. I can use Claude with my codebase to create walkthrough videos for new features without recording them myself. I like being able to record anytime, then share a simple link with my customers, users, or team. I can record a product review or walkthrough once, and people can ask Demoly AI questions about my product instead of watching all the videos. The AI can find the exact timestamp where I explained a feature and take them right to it. I also find it useful and time saving to connect Demoly to Claude through the MCP server to record videos of my product. The interface is not too heavy and is pretty easy to use. Its main feature is AI helping with clients' questions I believe. With the pro plan it offers something called Bring Your Own Key with which I can integrate other AI subscriptions and have a complete video or walkthrough without speaking a word.
