"Effortless Collaboration and Real-Time Editing with Deepnote"
5/5
What do you like best about Deepnote?

Deepnote makes collaboration on data science and research projects effortless. I really like its real-time editing, version control, and easy cloud-based setup. It’s great for teaching, code reviews, and sharing results without complex configuration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepnote?

Sometimes, large datasets can cause slower performance, and offline access options are limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Deepnote?

Deepnote has been one of the most useful tools in my daily workflow.

As an Account Manager in a SaaS company, having access to accurate information is essential for making decisions. "Seamless Integrations and Effortless AI Assistance"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Deepnote?

I appreciate how the AI Assistant integrates seamlessly, both within the Notebook style and as a sidebar. In addition, its native integrations with third-party services make it easy to use the tools you want directly in your notebook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepnote?

It's not that I dislike it; I just hope they enhance the agent's capabilities so it can operate more autonomously. I would also like to see improvements in how it addresses issues, especially when it suggests fixes on third-party platforms accessed through the notebook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Modern Python Coding with Seamless Integrations and Easy Collaboration"

What do you like best about Deepnote?

This is a very modern way to code in Python and integrate with other platforms and databases. It also makes it easy to work with others at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepnote?

If version control for the notebook were available, it would be perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There's not much that I can complain about Deepnote right now. It has performed to my standards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful and versatile, good for both solo projects and client-facing work"
5/5
What do you like best about Deepnote?

I've used Deepnote for everything from one-off dashboards for clients to big solo projects that involve stitching together data from multiple sources. It allows easy switching between Python and SQL in the same notebook (and maybe R? I haven't tried that yet though!). It is also straightforward to integrate external data from Sheets or Snowflake or what-have-you. There is also a lot of options for power users who need more computing power, though I have found the out-of-the-box ones to be plenty powerful for most of my needs.

The interface is clean and intuitive, and there is good documentation. The Deepnote team is busy and updates and improvements come regularly. I've had limited interaction with customer service, but the couple times I have they have been fast and helpful and understanding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepnote?

Some nitpicky things . . . The built-in charts have been improving, but I'd still love LOTs more in this department, especially for snazzy interactive charts. They also do not yet support iPywidgets, which I've frequently wanted for small projects. They provide a smaller subset of similar input tools built-in, but not nearly enough. Lastly, I'd love slightly better notebook layout tools, specifically the ability to create collapsible sections without fiddling with HTML. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Setup, Powerful AI Assistance"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Deepnote?

The platform is easy to set up, and I appreciate being able to use both SQL and Python. Deepnote AI is also extremely helpful, especially when it comes to debugging and quickly visualizing data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepnote?

There isn't much to add at this point, but I'm interested to see how Deepnote AI develops in the future. Occasionally, it has difficulty keeping up with multiple follow-up requests, yet overall, my experience has been positive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best notebooks I've found"
5/5
What do you like best about Deepnote?

I've used several different notebooks: jupyter, databricks, colab, kubeflow. Out of everything I have tried, Deepnote gives me what I need. It is easiest for collaboration, easiest for scaling appropriately, easiest for choosing different environments and getting set up. It is just what I need, and I hope they keep improving it in these practical ways. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepnote?

It costs a bit much for the first tier past free. I am an individual, and not comfortable paying so much per month just to collaborate with a few people. It should cost about half that, to be more comfortable to individuals. I'd pay $25 per month, not $50. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sleek, User-Friendly UI Perfect for Lean Data Teams"
4/5
What do you like best about Deepnote?

Simplicity and user friendly UI - reason why I signed up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepnote?

I was using for ETL pipeline to snowflake and supabase. Timing of workbook runs does not support a full production-ready solution. Not sure why we cannot use multiple run times.

UI is great, very simple. Using Prefect for ETL transformations now, no need for deepnote syncs. Otherwise, great product for lean startups and data sci teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Beats Google Colab Everytime!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Deepnote?

Deepnote is very easy to use whether a beginner just starting out or a professional Data Scientist working on a project for your company. One of the best parts of Deepnote is the many integrations you can connect to, like Google Drive if you're just starting out, or connect to the many SQL services. Their visuals allow you to bring your data to life and see everything in real-time; it even updates in real-time, which makes it very sharp. The ease of getting started quickly and running your project is immediate, which is one thing I appreciate about Deepnote; it's just a few seconds before you're digging into the data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepnote?

One thing I would like Deepnote to add is more visuals into their built-in platform, more ways to visualize the data, like getting location maps, heatmaps, etc. It seems that Deepnote is more professional and not really for college students going into the sciences. I would have loved to use Deepnote while in college; I never knew it was around and had to go out and look for alternatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
