Deckrun Reviews & Product Details

Deckrun is a deployment platform designed to help developers and small teams run their applications on managed cloud providers without the usual complexity. By combining the ease of use of a PaaS with the power of Kubernetes, Deckrun allows you to turn the cloud into your own managed platform while avoiding the steep learning curve of Kubernetes and complex YAML configurations. Key Features: - One-command deployment: Deploy your apps instantly using Deckrun’s CLI. The platform automates the entire process, from setting up the cluster to launching the app. - Managed Kubernetes clusters: Spin up provider-managed clusters on supported cloud providers (DigitalOcean and Scaleway) without needing Kubernetes expertise. - Automatic Dockerfile generation: Deckrun detects your app’s language or framework and generates the Dockerfile automatically when supported. - Service integration: Easily link managed services like MySQL into your app for seamless connectivity. More services, like Redis and PostgreSQL, are planned. - Custom domain support: Automatic subdomains are provided for instant previews, and you can also add custom domains with free SSL certificates. - Centralized configuration: Define environment variables, processes, resources, autoscaling, and health checks in a single TOML file. - Secrets management and CLI utilities: Add, update, or remove secrets, run commands in pods, redirect ports, and view logs directly from the CLI. Why Deckrun? Deckrun helps small teams and developers spend less time on repetitive deployment tasks and more time building features. Unlike traditional PaaS solutions, you retain control of your cloud provider, reducing vendor lock-in and costs. No Kubernetes knowledge is required, and you can get started with a 10-day free trial, no credit card needed.
