We are implementing many dbvisit standby solution on ODA for our customers. Solution always improving with new functionnalities. Now supporting Microsoft SQL Server. Excellent Support Center. Very quick and fast answer from Support Engineering having very good technical knowledge. Solution for problem provided for each opened cases as expected and very rapidly. Live lab available for test. **What do you dislike about Dbvisit Standby?** There is nothing I can think of, that I do not like with Dbvisit. Below are just suggestions of enhancement/new features: - CLI and GUI are both possible albeit trend and recommendation is to use the GUI first. For me CLI is as must. - Snapshot on standby are only for linux and LVM. Expecting ACFS to be included to be able to use this feature with the ODA as well. - No possibility today to evaluate snapshot on the live lab. **What problems is Dbvisit Standby solving and how is that benefiting you?** Protecting primary critical oracle database on SE. Many customers in Germany use Dbvisit Standby. When I do a presentation, which takes about 30 minutes, the customers are flabbergasted. We have no customer who is unsatisfied. So if a company is using Oracle Enterprise Edition, they can easily move to Standard Edition an achieve high availability with Dbvisit Standby. **What do you dislike about Dbvisit Standby?** What I dislike? This is a very difficult question. No, there is nothing what comes to my mind. **What problems is Dbvisit Standby solving and how is that benefiting you?** As an example: A customer is using an ERP system on Windows. Size: 5 TByte. In case of a failure, it would take 24 hours to restore. In case of a failure more than 300 employees would have to be sent home. Means a huge amount of money. Plus: the customer is using 2 Standby databases. The second one is for reporting. So to offload the load from the production system. ### 8.
