"Great all-in-one SQL tool for everyday database work"
What do you like best about DBeaver?

DBeaver is super handy when working with multiple databases. It supports a wide range of DB types (like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.), so I don’t need to switch tools. The UI is clean and beginner-friendly, and I really like features like the ER diagram viewer, query auto-complete, and data export options. It makes running and organizing queries much easier, especially when dealing with large datasets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DBeaver?

It can feel a bit slow or heavy at times, especially when working with large tables or opening multiple tabs. Also, some advanced settings are buried and not very intuitive. The initial setup for some databases can be a bit tricky if you’re new. But overall, once it’s running, it works really well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent SQL Tool for Effortless Data Exploration"
What do you like best about DBeaver?

It's a great SQL tool that lets you view source data without having to commit to implementing data via etl's. We use a cloud based data source to house our data but I use DBeaver to check and view certain data sources before committing to pulling it all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DBeaver?

It's really complicated to get certain oracle integrations set up, but once it's complete, you don't have a lot of complexity afterwards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

-It is an open source tool.

What do you dislike about DBeaver?

Some of the downsides of Dbeaver are:

-Sometimes the exact error does not come up and there is no export feature.

-It has frequent updates which cause issues with existing version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"DBeaver a robust and flexible tool"
What do you like best about DBeaver?

Connects to virtually any major database with JDBC drivers. Rich Feature Set: Includes ER diagrams, visual query builders, data editing, SQL editor with autocompletion, and export/import tools.Dbeaver can run on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

The community edition offers a lot of functionality for free, with a paid version for advanced enterprise features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DBeaver?

Can Be Resource heavy especially when working with large databases or multiple active connections. By default, DBeaver allows editing of query results in the result grid. While this is convenient for making quick changes, it can be risky when working with live PostgreSQL databases, as accidental edits can affect the actual data. It’s recommended to disable this or use it cautiously in production environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Durable, feature rich and simply all in one database tool to manage multiple databases."
What do you like best about DBeaver?

There are several things which I like about DBeaver. First is its resource utilization, yes, when trying to access a huge database on a low resource maching, many of the database tools in my case failed, however I was able to access those databases with the help of Dbeaver. Secondly,I like that I can manage multiple databases, all at the same place, I primarily use SQLite as well as Postgres and sometimes MySQL as well, and I can access all of those databases at the same place itself. I can also connect to the same DBMS with different databases and make use of multiple databases all at the same time. The database connection is also at the file level, so I can segregate the queries. Also, the most useful feature for me is how I can import SQL Scripts folder in the project menu, this helps me to quickly access pre-written scripts and get started and finished with the repetitive tasks as quickly as possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DBeaver?

The only thing I dislike, is the time it sometimes takes to query the database, it takes much longer sometimes, where I have to wait for a long time to get the results because the data is just getting queried, apart from this performance aspect, there is nothing much which I dislike about dbeaver. "A powerful, open-source database management tool that served purpose to check sqlite database."
What do you like best about DBeaver?

DBeaver offers a very user-friendly interface with advanced features that saved me a lot of time in validating SQLite database content. I really appreciate how effortlessly this tool allows easy access and management of databases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DBeaver?

While DBeaver is a great tool overall, it can feel a bit heavy at times, especially when working with large databases. However, this is minor compared to the overall benefits it provides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Productive cross-platform database tool"
What do you like best about DBeaver?

The best thing about dbeaver as a tool is how complete it is. Besides the fact that it is multiplatform. In my case I usually work on Linux, but sometimes I have to work on Windows. I can export my configurations and connections and have them updated on both platforms. On the other hand it has the ability to customize the results that is highly visual, besides allowing fast navigation between relational tables. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DBeaver?

Perhaps the design has become a bit outdated. It should start introducing AI in queries and results, as other tools are starting to do. This could provide a bonus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
