## Cyver Core Reviews
  ### 1. Streamlined Report Generation with Easy Template Imports and Scan Merging

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan D. | Offensive Security Team Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Cyver Core?**

Report generation is completely streamlined; they even import your own in-house report templates into the platform. I also like the ability to upload huge scan outputs from tools like Nessus and then merge the findings.

**What do you dislike about Cyver Core?**

We haven't had anything to dislike so far, the support team have been very quick to assist with anything.

**What problems is Cyver Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps streamline reporting, automate processes such as requesting engagements and sending questionnaires, and has significantly improved collaboration with clients.

  ### 2. Seamless Client Communication and Effortless Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Cyver Core?**

What I like most about Cyver Core is the user experience. The platform handles all client communication seamlessly and creates a smooth workflow from scoping to delivery. Each stage of the security process is clearly mapped out, allowing me to focus on the core work writing findings and conducting the assessment while the rest of the reporting and communication is efficiently taken care of.

**What do you dislike about Cyver Core?**

I haven’t used Cyver Core for a long time yet, so I’m still exploring the tool. So far, everything has worked smoothly for me. If I come across any recommendations or areas for improvement as I continue using it, I’ll be sure to share them

**What problems is Cyver Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

he main problem Cyver Core solves for me is report delivery and client communication. The platform provides a seamless workflow from user onboarding to final delivery, with each stage of the security audit broken down clearly from scoping to completion. Throughout every phase, the auditor and the client remain continuously engaged, which creates an efficient and structured workflow. Previously, we faced challenges with communication gaps and report formatting, but Cyver Core handles all of this. Now we can focus on writing high-quality findings, while the formatting, report generation, publishing, and customer support are all managed smoothly by the platform

  ### 3. Always improving

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Cyver Core?**

Having a pentest colaboration platform in the first place is definitely a huge improvement for our customer experience, especially with repeating customers.
What we like about Cyver most compared to its competitors are:
- fixed pricing options (same price, regardless of amount of pentesters/customers/reports) No surprises at the end of the month
- They are constantly improving and actually listen to customer feedback (trust me, I have given a lot of feedback already 😅)

**What do you dislike about Cyver Core?**

Some of the features do not always allow all the flexibility and customization we would hope for. For example, the predefined access roles or the lack of an option to save custom fields within finding templates.

**What problems is Cyver Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Secure report sharing (no more sending pdf documents over email)
- We're looking at the ability of letting other (non-pentest) teams work with Cyver for their reporting needs too

  ### 4. Customer-Centric Development

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Cyver Core?**

The platform is clearly built with customers in mind. Support is fast and helpful, and the roadmap reflects real user feedback. Engagement from both our staff and our customers adds real value, making it feel like a collaborative tool rather than just a portal.

**What do you dislike about Cyver Core?**

There were some stability issues recently, though these now seem to be resolved. The pace of expanding services to match industry developments could be quicker, but the existing features are strong and reliable.

**What problems is Cyver Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cyver Core helps us manage penetration testing in a much more organised way. Instead of juggling emails and spreadsheets, we have everything in one place — from findings to client communication. It saves us time, keeps projects moving smoothly, and gives clients a clearer view of what’s happening. Having that transparency means issues get fixed faster and everyone feels more engaged in the process.

  ### 5. Streamlining your pentest workflow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Cyver Core?**

Cyver Core offers a well-structured platform for managing penetration testing workflows. The automation of reporting, client communication, and task management significantly reduces manual effort and improves overall efficiency. Real-time dashboards and client portals also enhance transparency and engagement throughout the process.

**What do you dislike about Cyver Core?**

Some parts of the platform lack flexibility, leaving users limited to the default options provided by Cyver. For example, user roles are fixed and cannot be customised to fit specific team structures or permission needs.

**What problems is Cyver Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cyver Core solves the challenge of managing multiple penetration testing projects for different clients efficiently. It eliminates scattered reports and manual reporting by offering and platform for task tracking, client communication, and automated report generation. This streamlines delivery, reduces time spent on repetitive work, and provides clients with a centralised portal for real-time updates and results.

  ### 6. Best Pentest Reporting Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fabricio M. | Pentester, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Cyver Core?**

I would like to share that our experience using Cyver Core has been great for our team. We have improved our report creation process, and the platform also provides many features that allow us to offer a better and more customized experience for our clients.

**What do you dislike about Cyver Core?**

At times, the platform experiences minor issues and can be a bit slow.

**What problems is Cyver Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides an easy-to-use pentest reporting platform with many interesting features, which benefits our team by making the creation of pentest reports more efficient.

  ### 7. The best investment we have made!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vratislav Pavel S. | Cybersecurity Expert, Sandvik Machining Solutions, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Cyver Core?**

At WardenSec, we started using Cyver Core software over two years ago and it has been the best investment we have made since we started our business. The task checklists cover every pentesting framework imaginable and help us manage our team effectively. The average reporting time has been reduced by 70% thanks to the comprehensive findings library. We are now able to focus on what we do best – pentesting – rather than reporting.

**What do you dislike about Cyver Core?**

There's a few findings that are missing in library. But creating a new one is easy and Cyver team is always adding new vulnerabilities.

**What problems is Cyver Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pentest management and reporting.

  ### 8. Cyver saved and redefined my business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe O. | CEO, Principal Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Cyver Core?**

They give businesses and individuals considering entrepreneurship in the offsec/pentest business an opportunity to not only complete but offer more services and capability.

It likely would be be a great move for an enterprise team as well that does any level of testing internally, especially for the newer collab features/api.

The other "options" I've seen are just typical corp/vc money grabs.

**What do you dislike about Cyver Core?**

I cannot think of anything I dislike about Cyver.

**What problems is Cyver Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Originally I just needed report generation. After the fact I realized it solves for three things I need: Cuts time roughly in half (just a convenience), privacy (centralized location, not a loose doc on usb if a consultant decides they want to steal the template), and collaboration.

Additionally, Cyver provided the ability for collab with clients, a way to provide better services such as continuous assessments vs point-in-time, and even the services I can offer such as ASM which I hadn't though of.

  ### 9. Excellent pentesting platform to improve reporting and client-facing experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Cyver Core?**

The platform is powerful and provides rich functionality. Lots can be customised. The experience for clients is a good one, and miles ahead of traditional reporting methods. It's easy to implement and generally easy to use. There are integrations for the majority of common pentesting tools.

**What do you dislike about Cyver Core?**

There are bugs here and there, although the team do work quickly to fix them when reported. Some areas of the UI/UX are non-intuitive.

**What problems is Cyver Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fast paced and interactive reporting for clients. Allowing clients to manage the vulnerability lifecycle and remediation,

  ### 10. Great platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Cyver Core?**

Cyver is a really useful tool to report vulnerabilities using the PTaaS approach. It is intuitive and quick to report the vulnerabilities, and the client can easily check which vulnerabilities they have and handle them. The communication is also much faster with Cyver.
Furthermore, the customer support is very kind and fast to support us in our struggles.

**What do you dislike about Cyver Core?**

There are still a few things that could be improved in order to be perfect, but it is a work in progress.

**What problems is Cyver Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PTaaS and reporting

  ### 11. An effecient way to centralize and automate pentesting projects.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Cyver Core?**

Automatic report generation and vulnerability report uploading feature.

**What do you dislike about Cyver Core?**

Lack of project management features such as time tracking.

**What problems is Cyver Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating and making our pentesting projects more effecient. While centralizing where we work.

  ### 12. Junior Security Consultant First Take

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle M. | Junior Security Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Cyver Core?**

Cyver Core has been get in working with our firm for personal development. They have adhered to specific requests for our firm. This has helped our firm grow to meet the needs being asked of us by our clients.

**What do you dislike about Cyver Core?**

My biggest issue with Cyver is the inconsistency with its optimization. We will have experiences that will differ greatly depending on the patch. While some things are consistent, our workflow has the possibility of coming to a halt depending on the patch. I would just recommend greater detail in bug fixing or testing prior to a rollout.

**What problems is Cyver Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cyver is helping blend the environment from firm to client. We have had flawless communication and reporting that our clients find invaluable. We have had remarks from sever companies that saw this change to our ASM was a major decision in working with our firm.

  ### 13. Excellent experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Building Materials | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Cyver Core?**

Cyver makes my day-to-day work significantly more manageable.

**What do you dislike about Cyver Core?**

Sometimes there are minor bugs, but the fixes come out relatively fast.

**What problems is Cyver Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Putting all of the findings in one spot while having a place where clients can communicate.

  ### 14. Finding upload & real-time client collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven H. | Penetration Tester, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Cyver Core?**

The automation side of it and findings upload.

I also really get to feel like a part of the client's security team within the company, rather than working completely externally, because the real-time findings means client teams see findings as they are uploaded and we can collaborate on finding a fix

**What do you dislike about Cyver Core?**

If I do recovery/recon and I use customized scripts in that tool or very specialized/customized tooling or plugins/parameters, the import isn't 100% accurate, but that's improving as we add more data to filter. If I want to import an XML with that customized data, it doesn't always support that data

**What problems is Cyver Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Customer collaboration
- Instead of using a blank blackbox test, we come in and because the clients are already onboarded, we know what their vulnerabilities were last time, we already know who they are, everything is already logged, so we just level it up to their needs, which is really easy. We can also see when you did the last test, so we can notify the client when they need a new test.
- We can do free retesting for clients because everything is already in the platform and it's easy to see what was tested last.
- This allows us to stay up to date with a client, let them know when they need security testing, and essentially replace some of their need for an internal security team

  ### 15. Simplifies Pentest Management / Overhead

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Cyver Core?**

I can set up a pentest report template and then quickly launch a new pentest, I don't have to send PDF reports to customers outside the application, it saves a lot of time, it automatically creates the graphics you need for a management summary, if you use a compliance framework you can map pentests to those frameworks and you get easy oversight of how client vulnerabilities map to those compliance requirements, I get a lot of comments from customers that they like being able to interact with us and can manage the vulnerabilities we find and mark them as solved

**What do you dislike about Cyver Core?**

It's difficult to pinpoint dislikes as most feature requests I've made have been met.

**Recommendations to others considering Cyver Core:**

Time wise i think it's good to do it, large teams can really benefit. I think you need to take the time to set up templates well before you launch pentests, so everything is replicable. Cyver also allows you to be more involved with your customers so if you can get onboarding buy-in, you should add them to the tool. Customers and your pentesters need to be aware of the fact that it's an interactive application and customers will ask questions inside the app and you have to be prepared to answer them. While this costs time, I find that it results in more connection with the customer and more repeat business because they're more engaged with my company.

**What problems is Cyver Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving time per pentest with automated reporting, auto-fill with the CVEs, it's not perfect but it saves a lot of time. Putting evidence in the report is automated because it's uploaded in one go. Cyver matches the vulnerability to the vulnerabilities you have. If you work with more people, Cyver's platform means every pentest is in the same format, same platform, same layout, same template, so they always work within the same process and deliver the same results. This makes it easier to manage more people. It's easier to switch between compliance frameworks like DigiD or OWASP Top 10 and just switch to a different norm and the application adapts. We can use our time more efficiently to take on more pentests now
