## About Cycloid
Cycloid is an internal developer portal and platform that platform teams shape to their organisation instead of building from scratch. They customise branding, the sidebar, team and persona pages, resource tabs and the names used for core concepts. They then set the guardrails once, from SSO and four-layer authorisation to environment types, naming rules and approvals. They publish Terraform, OpenTofu, Ansible and Helm as versioned Blueprints and Forms, and stop maintaining the glue between tools. Developers pick a golden path or compose their own, then deploy, run day-2 actions and promote along a Promotion Path from one portal. A software catalog, dependency graph and asset inventory show owners, resources and relations, and actions start from the same screen. Leaders get adoption analytics and one audit log. AI assistants connect over MCP and act only with their owner's permissions, through the same checks. Cycloid works with the CI teams already run, and deploys as SaaS, self-hosted, hybrid or air-gapped, including on sovereign cloud. Made in France.

**What do you like best about Cycloid?**

I really appreciate the contact with Cycloid's support and DevOps teams. They are very quick and help me create multi-tenant platforms and manage hybrid cloud environments. They also assist with infrastructure fixes using stacks and Terraform, as well as with built-in plugins. The initial setup felt straightforward, particularly due to those built-in plugins.

**What do you dislike about Cycloid?**

The platform is powerful, however, the UI/portal is not as user-friendly as it could be. It feels like AWS compared to Google Cloud or Azure. Also, while the initial setup was straightforward especially with built-in plugins, our end users sometimes found it a bit complex.

**What problems is Cycloid solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cycloid solves governance, DevOps issues, ticketing, and platform engineering challenges. The support team helps me create multi-tenant platforms, manage hybrid cloud, and fix infrastructure with stacks, Terraform, and built-in plugins efficiently.
