Cuecaps Reviews & Product Details

Cuecaps is a browser-based caption studio for animated, word-by-word captions on YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels and longer videos. It transcribes the speech, times every word against the audio waveform and animates the captions in the chosen style. Transcription and rendering run on the user's own device, so source footage is never uploaded. On-device transcription is free and unlimited in 20+ languages, and cloud transcription (ElevenLabs Scribe v2) covers 90+ languages. Users get ten caption presets, 24 fonts plus custom font uploads, eight entrance animations, five active-word highlight modes, and a waveform timeline for retiming, splitting, merging and emphasising words. Cuecaps exports burned-in MP4 from 720p to 4K, transparent MOV and WebM overlays for Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro and CapCut, and SRT or VTT subtitle files. It is built for creators, social media teams and video editors who caption videos every week. A free plan is available, and paid plans start at €9 per month.
