"Cube Streamlined FP&A Workflows with Seamless Integrations, Great Support, and Built-in AI Tools"
5/5
What do you like best about Cube?

Cube has been a great tool for building a robust reporting and budgeting workflow. It allowed us to level up our reporting and analysis without adding additional headcount. Cube integrates seamlessly with multiple data sources and the integration with our Sage Intacct instance was especially useful. Cube allowed us to automate reporting while also increasing accuracy and auditability. The excel plug-in facilitates rapid report building for any user familiar with Excel and the new Cube AI assistant makes the process even easier for users of all skill levels. Managing dimensions, mappings, and data sources in the web interface is very intuitive, and we especially appreciated the dimension tagging feature. This allowed for advanced data groupings without altering the underlying data structure. Cube's greatest strengths are its flexibility and intuitiveness. It is easily adaptable to different data structures and output requirements, and it makes Ad-hoc reporting and scenario analysis much less time consuming and complex. The team at Cube has been very engaged and responsive. In addition to exceling in basic support functions, Cube has been a true partner to us and proactively works to ensure we are getting the most out of our subscription. What do you dislike about Cube?

We didn't encounter any major pain points in using Cube, and the consistent updates and improvements they've rolled out over the years solved any minor issues we encounter early in our adoption. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Strong Integrations and Excel-Native FP&A, with Rapidly Evolving Features"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Cube?

Cube offers a strong balance of integrations, UI and excel native functionality that's easy for a FP&A professional to understand and leverage. They are constantly evolving their product offerings and keep a strong record of feature requests. Additionally, they have been investing heavily into integrating AI into the platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cube?

One of the main selling points with Cube was initially the competitive pricing and transparent pricing. While we are in the middle of a contract and have not renegotiated pricing, removing the pricing on their website makes me a little nervous on future platform cost conversations. Additionally, as our data volume scales, there are instances where data has to be aggregated or data fetches run extremely slow and occasionally time out Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excel-Native Powerhouse with Seamless Integrations and Responsive Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Cube?

I most appreciate the Cube is Excel-native. This allow me to work within an ecosystem that is familiar and powerful, while also leveraging Cube features such as fetching and publishing in tandem with Excel formulas, AI chatbot, and flexibility on the starting point for preparing reports. Integrations work seamlessly and support is highly responsive and knowledgeable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cube?

What I dislike most about Cube is the slight learning curve with the UI, especially in the sidebar and the web app. It feels like users with coding experience, or familiarity with other financial applications, will get up to speed faster than those whose experience is mainly limited to Excel or QuickBooks. "Cube Transforms Appfolio Data with Powerful AI and Excel Interface"
5/5
What do you like best about Cube?

Our company uses Appfolio for our real estate and accounting software. While it’s a solid package overall, it lacks certain reporting capabilities that we wanted and needed. Cube was able to integrate with Appfolio via an API and transform the data into usable, visible, tangible data points, which has enhanced the way we work with and understand our data. That’s not even mentioning the amazing AI tool and the Excel interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cube?

Dislike is a strong word, but like any other software there is upkeep and maintenance. But that is normal and very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Affordable Cube with Simple Google Sheets and Excel Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Cube?

Cube was much more affordable than competitors. I like it's simple integration with Google Sheets and Excel, and that we can still use a lot of our existing spreadsheets along side Cube vs having them become obsolete. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cube?

I dislike how much slower it is in Google Sheets than Excel. I don't think the internal team spends as much time optimizing or testing Sheets to be as quick as Excel.

To check what you uploaded to Cube you have to manually fetch the same data back out to verify it was uploaded correctly, vs having a simpler way without Cube to validate.

When you have formatting issues with large data sets and there are import errors, Cube does not always show you what cells are the issue (for us it was hidden rows with un-needed data, but we had to find that on our own). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Real Game-Changer: Powerful Reporting, AI Analyst, and Priceless Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Cube?

Cube has been a real life-changer for our company. The reporting capabilities we’re currently working toward are going to give leadership quicker, more concise information at their fingertips, without finance having to track down details every time someone needs a report. That will save a lot of time while also ensuring leadership has clear visibility into up-to-date financials. Cube performs incredibly well in this area.

We are learning more in regards to the integrations that Cube is capable of, and excited to see how this works with our systems.

We also are super excited with the evolution of the AI Analyst. Being able to request specific reports and having them auto create is amazing!

The support we received from Ashif was priceless. Our company has matured through this process and the patience Ashif showed for us was very much appreciated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cube?

The only dislike I would say is that the system is slower when using Google Sheets vs. using Excel, and our company works primarily from Google Sheets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful MCP + Claude Integration for Fast Custom Reports"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Cube?

Its ability to connect with MCP and integrate natively with Claude makes it incredibly powerful. We can generate custom reports using our data for partners and lenders in minutes—something that used to take almost a week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cube?

I’d say this is a minor dislike: the AI analyst can be a little slow when retrieving information. However, the MCP makes up for it, so that’s really the only negative thing I can think of. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use, Automates Finance Tasks, and Backed by Strong Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Cube?

It's very easy to use and automates some of our finance tasks and has good product support Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cube?

Sometimes with the product support it takes a bit of time to get things cleared up. Have to go back and forth on a few emails. Would prefer to do a Teams meeting or screen share to resolve more quickly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cube’s Customizable, Live-Refreshing Spreadsheets with Cross-Platform Flexibility"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Cube?

I absolutely love the customizability of the tool in the sense that, I think of what I want to build and what model or view I want to use, and Cube just does all the rest. It gives me the 3 core features that I would love from Excel but don't have. For me these are 1) live data refreshes 2) cross platform compatibility 3) the ability to eventually use AI for analysis and to explain variances without relying on my own eyes only Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cube?

I would like to see its dashboarding capabilities in more detail. For now, we have to take the data from cube and push it into Power BI to solve the customizability, but a small price to pay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Easy Reporting with Cube and Responsive Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Cube?

With Cube I can fetch data and build reports so quickly and easily. I can drilldown to see details behind the numbers which is so helpful for analysis. The system imports NS data daily automatically which makes updates timely. The 90 days of activation period was supportive and when asking questions the support and implementation teams address effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cube?

If the monthly subscribing pricing could be lower it would be perfectly GREAT! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
