Interactive animated sequences
Technical publication and animation in 3d models

**What do you dislike about Creo Illustrate?**

Due to more functionality its difficult to learn and it takes time in expertise in tool.

**What problems is Creo Illustrate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Good for technical publication for aircraft docking tender image publication to represent clinet for more trust worthy.

**What do you like best about Creo Illustrate?**

Part import from 3rd party models like fasteners and machine components is super fast.
Deriving new parts from another part's geometry is nice when using PTC Creo's parametric relations features.

**What do you dislike about Creo Illustrate?**

Not much to dislike however the STL model output is not always as smooth as some other software usually can do.

**What problems is Creo Illustrate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Daily design work is being carried out with creo. Customer design changes and problems like DFM & DFA are being resolved.

You can use visuals on pdfs. Easy to convert to image files.

**What do you dislike about Creo Illustrate?**

Can not visualize all types of Cad files

Sometimes some colleagues from other departments other than technical teams need to see some visuals. This sthe time to utilize the software.

**What do you like best about Creo Illustrate?**

-Using this tool can increase the illustrator's productivity where CAD drawings are directly used when creating the illustration/drawing
-Parts' latest revision can easily be implemented and reflected on the technical documentation.
-All the processes to produce illustration needed by a Technical Illustrator is pack in this software with the reduction of steps

**What do you dislike about Creo Illustrate?**

-PTC should partner with Universities or Educational institutions on what tools/solutions they can offer, especially in the emerging economy where productivity is vital.

**What problems is Creo Illustrate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

-This tool is used in creating documents that guide the customers in using, troubleshooting and setting up the products they have purchased. 
-This can save document translation cost because customers have step by step guides of pictures/drawings of their product.

User Interface, Extraordinary Editing Features, and Ease of Operation

**What do you dislike about Creo Illustrate?**

I didn't find anything such during my usage. However, the refresh rate can be improved a bit.

I used it for my desing oriented project where I drawn many mechanical parts/components as per my requirements.

Using this tool, I can easily create 3d technical manuals and 2d drawings, an interactive animation.
3d parts can be easily inserted with good visualisation.

**What do you dislike about Creo Illustrate?**

STL model output is not always as smooth as some other software usually can do.

I used it for creating manuals and drawings.

Applying callouts and baloons enabled me to create assembly instructions that helped me to create instruction manuals.

**What do you dislike about Creo Illustrate?**

Sometimes when comparing with solidworks , creo illustrate's procedures are hard to recognize.

Engineers , mechanics and workers can identify the parts that are included in the assembly and they can visualize the final product easily.

It is visual. Creating a prototype is so much easier using Creo.

Sometimes when the data is too heavy, the app crashes.

Sometimes it is hard to visualize your workpiece. With Creo, you quickly see interferences and other flaws of your design.

Not really. It is already good but can become more advanced in future

3D modeling mainly. It is not complex unlike other CAD software

Easy exploded views; View management; Short learning curve.

**What do you dislike about Creo Illustrate?**

Limited view options, Have to get highest level version for the most basic editing tools, not a good technical solution.

**Recommendations to others considering Creo Illustrate:**

Get a trial - see if it works for you. I didn;t do what we needed it to.

**What problems is Creo Illustrate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We hoped to be able to quickly create an illustrated parts catalog and figures for product documentation, but could the results were unprofessional without significant manual work using the highest level of the software.
