"Why I Recommend Credly"
What do you like best about Credly?

I recently used Credly to manage and display my digital badges, and overall, I had a positive experience. Here's a breakdown of the aspects I found beneficial and some suggestions for improvement:

Pros:

User-Friendly Interface:

The site is clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate. Uploading and managing my badges was straightforward, even for someone not very tech-savvy.

Badge Authentication:

I love how Credly makes it easy to verify the legitimacy of the badges. This adds a lot of credibility, especially when sharing my achievements with potential employers or on platforms like LinkedIn.

Sharing Capabilities:

The integration with social media, particularly LinkedIn, is seamless. It took me just a few clicks to share my badges, which significantly enhances my personal brand.

Professional Networking Opportunities:

The platform not only showcases your achievements but also connects you to a broader professional community. This networking aspect is a great added value.

Areas for Improvement:

Mobile Experience:

While the desktop version works flawlessly, the mobile experience could be improved. I found some layout issues when navigating on my phone, and the overall usability on mobile could be smoother.

Badge Customization:

It would be great to have more customization options for displaying badges or portfolios. Currently, the display feels somewhat rigid, and allowing users to personalize their profile layout could enhance the user experience.

More Analytics:

I would appreciate more detailed analytics on badge views and interactions. Knowing who is engaging with my badges, or how often they are viewed, would provide valuable insights for personal and professional growth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Credential Management with Credly"
What do you like best about Credly?

I use Credly to manage and showcase professional certifications and badges from leading technology and cybersecurity organizations like Cisco, IBM, Google, ISC2, NVIDIA etc. I appreciate that it serves as a credible platform for verifying expertise in my business consulting and cybersecurity roles. Credly addresses key challenges in credential management by providing a centralized verifiable platform for digital badges, eliminating the need for physical certificates or manual verification processes. It enhances trust in my projects and streamlines sharing achievements across professional networks, which saves me time. I value its role in building trust and efficiency across the business. I find the tamper-proof badge verification to be assuring for credibility from issuers. The user-friendly interface for organizing, sharing, and embedding credentials is a plus, and robust analytics provide insights into skill recognition, fostering career advancement in my cybersecurity and blockchain projects. Setup was a no-brainer; it's just plug and play, ready to work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Credly?

While it currently excels in core functionality, enhancements in advanced search and filtering for badges could improve discoverability, especially for niche cybersecurity certifications like those from ISC Square. Additionally, deeper integration with enterprise HR systems would streamline bulk verifications in my consulting projects, and a more robust mobile app for on-the-go management would better support dynamic roles in blockchain evolving innovation and hiring processes. I think it would be highly valuable and appreciated if Credly implements analytics functionality, so that each user can actually see which part of the user profile and badges is mostly visited, and what the potential leads are mostly interested in.
