Chris graduated with honors from the Seattle Art Institute in 1992, and took his first job as a Graphic Designer in Vancouver WA, at Deanes Graphics (Now Creative Media)! He later worked as an Illustrator and Graphic Designer in Portland, OR at Pickthorn Ad Agency. He was offered an opportunity to be Production and Logistics Manager at a startup company called BLT Technologies, the inventor of the Talk N Toss prepaid phone card. There he managed product design, advertising and production with an annual budget of $10 million dollars. BLT then went through a series of acquisitions where Chris was able to oversee the merger of two large departmental operations teams (WorldCom/MCI) and merged business processes as well. His innovative inventory management system reduced their annual expenses by 50%, and established near perfect Quality Assurance. He stayed on when Verizon Business took over as the Senior Manager of Operations and Product Development. There he directly engaged with Fortune 500 companies such as Costco, Rite Aid, CVS and Target. He developed and managed a $100M+ business unit including fulfillment, order management, product development, point of sale activation and platform services. He outperformed service level agreements and industry standards, with sales to fulfillment delivery on time, and inventory accuracy of +99.5%.
