**What do you like best about CrankWheel?**

I use Crankwheel multiple times a day. I sell health insurance and Crankwheel makes my phone meetings SO much easier because I can share the prospects quote and benefits with them, sllowing them to see what I'm telling them. I think that helps them digest what they are going to possibly be paying for much better than only hearing what I tell them and having to make a decision based on that alone. It's super easy to implement and I've never had any issues with prospects finding it to be too complicated to click on the text link I send, so that's a definite plus. I can also integrate my Hubspot platform with Crankwheel which makes it easier for me to track my customer data and statuses. Crackwheel is by far the easiest sharing platform out there!

Still haven't found anything I do not like about Crankwheel.

As a life insurance broker, efficiency and clarity on calls matter. CrankWheel allows me to instantly share my screen with clients without technical delays or confusion. That alone has improved my close rate because prospects can actually see what I’m explaining. It’s simple, fast, and does exactly what it needs to do without overcomplicating anything.

**What do you dislike about CrankWheel?**

There’s not much to dislike. If I had to name one thing, I’d say it occasionally takes a few seconds to load when switching between tabs or sharing a new screen, but it’s a small tradeoff for how smoothly everything else works.

**What problems is CrankWheel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CrankWheel solved one of the biggest challenges I had as a virtual insurance broker getting clients to actually see what I’m explaining without any tech issues or long setup. Before using it, screen-sharing was always a hassle because clients had to download software or log into something.

Now, I can instantly share life insurance illustrations, IUL comparisons, or annuity visuals with just a link. It’s helped me close more deals, reduce confusion, and make every call feel more personal and professional. It’s a simple tool that’s made a huge impact on my business efficiency and client trust.

I find CrankWheel very easy to use and quick, which is important for my life insurance sales as I share my screen with clients. Everything loads within seconds once I send a link and have them see my screen, making the process very effective. It's also valuable because this is the only tool I use for screen sharing; it's especially useful for my older clients who can easily pull up a link through their text. CrankWheel is very easy to use and rarely has technical issues, which I value a lot given that it's a free tool.

Sometimes it's a little confusing for the client to go back into the link once they exit it. So every now and then, I'll need them to go into other apps on their phone to finish their application. Once they try to go back and see my screen, it's a little hard to get back in because they have to provide me a code. So sometimes I just end up sending them a second link.

**What do you like best about CrankWheel?**

CrankWheel is one of the easiest screen sharing tools I’ve used. What really stands out is that the person you’re sharing your screen with doesn’t have to download anything. You just send them a link, they click it, and you’re connected almost instantly. It works on both PC and Mac, which makes it even more convenient.

One thing I’ve found helpful is grabbing a simple domain (I used GoDaddy, it’s under $15 a year) and forwarding it to my CrankWheel link. That way, when I’m on the phone with someone, I can just give them an easy web address to type in instead of having to send a long link.

I’d recommend this to anyone who needs to show something visually, whether it’s explaining a product, walking a prospect through something, or helping a customer with support. A lot of people don’t realize how much easier conversations become when you can just share your screen instead of trying to explain everything verbally.

It’s also really simple to use day-to-day. It runs as a Chrome extension, so it’s always right there when you need it. Setup is quick, and it fits easily into your workflow.

Another nice feature is that your meetings are recorded and kept for up to 6 months, which makes it easy to go back and review or reference past sessions if needed.

On top of that, their support has been great. They’re proactive and make sure you’re getting the most out of the tool, which is something you don’t always see.

Overall, it’s a simple, reliable solution that just works.

**What do you dislike about CrankWheel?**

There’s honestly not a lot to dislike. If anything, because it’s designed to be so simple, it doesn’t have all the extra bells and whistles you might find in more advanced screen sharing platforms. For most situations that’s actually a plus, but someone looking for a lot of customization or advanced features might feel it’s a bit limited.

Other than that, it does exactly what it’s meant to do, and it does it really well.

CrankWheel solves the problem of trying to explain things verbally when it’s much easier to just show someone. Instead of going back and forth or hoping the other person is following along, I can instantly share my screen and walk them through it step by step.

It’s been especially helpful when talking to prospects or customers, because it keeps things clear and saves a lot of time. There’s no setup on their end, no confusion, just click and we’re looking at the same thing. That alone has made my conversations smoother and more productive.

It’s also great for support situations. Rather than typing out instructions or trying to explain where to click, I can just show them exactly what to do. That cuts down on frustration and makes it easier for both sides.

Overall, it helps me communicate more clearly, save time, and get better results from my calls.

I do like how simple CrankWheel is. It's not difficult at all to manage or configure, and the fact that it's an extension makes it really worthwhile. It's very convenient. I just love the integration parts of it and how accessible it is to all platforms like Google or Microsoft. It's all in sync and provides an all-in-one solution. The initial setup was absolutely straightforward, very simple, very easy, and very manageable.

The best part for me is the short number of steps it takes to implement on the customer's behalf. Installing the extension into my Chrome browser was very simple, with no problems.

I wanted to very quickly mention that we do offer remote control (https://crankwheel.com/remote-control) although for now you will only see the feature (as a presenter) if you are using Windows, which explains why you might not have. For integration, we are always working to expand our capabilities. At the moment we have our API for native integrations and various forms of embedding, a Zapier integration, and native integrations with 6 different CRMs.

There are many elements of CrankWheel I like, but probably one of the best is the ease of the client to use it. I sell life and health insurance over the phone, so as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, well having the visual of a presentation so easily put to their device, it is incredible. We discovered how to share your screen without requiring anything from the other side, just a link and some magic, thanks to CrankWheel. Particularly useful when interacting with prospects who are not tech-savvy; with a single click, they can see everything they need, effortlessly. Despite unreliable connections, outdated hardware and outdated web browsers (including Internet Explorer), it still runs smoothly. We take advantage of online lead capture and can turn calls into quick demos all it takes is for a visitor to click, fill out a form, and then we manage to share our screen with them. Now we can get an edge and conversions are triggered by it.

To access premium features like remote control and bespoke branding, you'll need to upgrade to a paid Chrome extension or plan.

Before, my sales calls were voice and imagination. I explained confusing screens and trusted the prospect. Everything changed with CrankWheel. I press a button, send a chat or SMS link, and they see what I want. People just click and they can see my screen.  No app to download, no permissions to try to figure out.  Easy to get the link to them via text through the desktop app interface.

Video Quality was lacking on webcam even though I have an HD camera, and it looks great on the other video sharing platforms.  Kinda clunky on enabling audio to present through one device.  But its great if you just use your phone.

I need to be able to just call people from my phone and share my screen on the spot whether they are in my org or not.   This is the most low hassle way to do that.   I've lost deals and had major technical issues if they were not familiar with Zoom or Google Meet or Teams etc.    

If I am having a group meeting I use Zoom.  If I just need to call someone impromptu and have them see my screen right away, its crankwheel.

I can show you my screen in the browser by sending you a link; Crankwheel doesn't waste any time getting to the point. The viewer's simplicity of use is a notable aspect. When other departments, like sales or support, have questions about the software's functionality, I am able to communicate with them much more effectively thanks to this. No longer do I need to instruct them over the phone by stating "click here, now there"; instead, I can just demonstrate. Even complicated stacktraces are easily readable thanks to the transmission's silky smoothness.

Even if keeping things simple is good for the users, I still wish I could choose what I share more often. The default setting is to share the whole screen, and while I have the option to select a window, it isn't always as easy as I'd like.

We decided to use the Crankwheel to combat software problems, bugs or any necessary support. Tha ability to have them connect by entering my personal meeting link is also a plus for when they cant access email or something.

**What do you dislike about CrankWheel?**

Sometimes I forget to end the screenshare after I finish and hang up with a client.

**What problems is CrankWheel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Legally I have to present coverage to clients before i can take any payment for policy plans. CrankWheel makes that process very simple.

**What do you like best about CrankWheel?**

I like the different options available to be able to screenshare with client. I also like the new option to have client sign forms on Crankwheel. I think it is a smooth transition from the time the client logs on to the moment they see the program window.

**What do you dislike about CrankWheel?**

It's not necessarily a crankwheel issue but I sometimes forget to click on the auto-connect button & so the client will get the screen with the number, at which point I remember. I think it would be nice for that button to be automatic & we click it off when we need.

**What problems is CrankWheel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows everyone to be able to view whether it's on a laptop, tablet or phone.

I appreciate how user friendly CrankWheel is for myself as well as my clients!

I do not have any negative comments in regard to CrankWheel.

**What problems is CrankWheel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CrankWheel allows my clients to see exactly what I am doing on my end by sharing my computer screen with them. This gives my clients ease of mind when I am inputting their information into applications.
