## About CPillar
CPillar is a quick and easy-to-use tool for evaluating the stability of surface or underground crown pillars, and laminated roof beds. CPillar offers three different limit equilibrium analysis methods: rigid plate analysis; elastic plate analysis; and Voussoir (no tension) plate analysis. Additionally, users can choose between a Deterministic or Probabilistic analysis. Probabilistic analysis allows you to define statistical distributions of input data and calculate probability of failure. Furthermore, sensitivity analysis allows you to determine the effect of individual variables on safety factor.

**What do you like best about CPillar?**

The software includes three analysis method like rigid plug,elastic plate and Voussoir beam which are very useful for doing a sensitivity analysis.

**What do you dislike about CPillar?**

The interface could be more improved with addtion of  3D section view.

**What problems is CPillar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helpful for the analysis of surface or Underground crown pillar and laminated roof beds.

The software performs sensitivity & probabilistic analysis and also uses three limit equilibrium concepts- rigid plate, elastic plate and no tension plate

**What do you dislike about CPillar?**

More literature and examples with application in different sectors (mining, hydropower) can be added
