Cove.tool has a good set of energy analysis tools including sunshade analysis, light penetration, energy consumption and cost savings. It fares better compared to it's competition because of its ability to integrate with many other 3d modelling softwares and also the option to model within cove.tool. Cove.tool, as of now, is not very user friendly. The software is not as intuitive as other 3d modelling softwares. The program also does not work well with complex angular geometry and cannot comprehend imported curved or angular surface.
