HVAC being the important part saves us alot of time by using cove tool. There are good features but needs a couple of improvements. For now we arwent very dependent on cove.tool

  ### 2. Cove tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2023

**What do you like best about cove.tool?**

Nest for getting the building data. As a data scientist, it's an amazing tool to visualize the data and even give out the monthly breakdowns of each and every aspect.

**What do you dislike about cove.tool?**

Very difficult to operate with. Not very user-friendly so it's a little difficult to get started with. give out a good amount of data. But the interface isn't user-friendly.

**What problems is cove.tool solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nothing as such, but solves a lot of problems for our building engineer, and that in return solves our problem by reducing time. So saves time which results in faster work.

  ### 3. Good set of features but needs a lot of improvements

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2022

**What do you like best about cove.tool?**

Cove.tool has a good set of energy analysis tools including sunshade analysis, light penetration, energy consumption and cost savings. It fares better compared to it's competition because of its ability to integrate with many other 3d modelling softwares and also the option to model within cove.tool.

**What do you dislike about cove.tool?**

Cove.tool, as of now, is not very user friendly. The software is not as intuitive as other 3d modelling softwares. The program also does not work well with complex angular geometry and cannot comprehend imported curved or angular surface. The tool also does not have any option to model complex surfaces in itself which makes it unusable for many projects.

**What problems is cove.tool solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The tool is aimed to provide energy analysis and related cost implications. The tool can promote energy friendly design by providing better visualisation of cost reductions and factors affecting it.

  ### 4. cove.tool

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2022

**What do you like best about cove.tool?**

In addition to being able to model in cove.tool, I like its ability to interface with a wide range of other 3d modelling applications.

**What do you dislike about cove.tool?**

It is heavily dependent on internet and does not posess a user friendly interface.

**What problems is cove.tool solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me run several cost-versus-energy optimization tests to determine the best cost-effective ways of achieving a specified energy goal.

  ### 5. I used cove tool before elum tool for daylighting analysis.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2022

**What do you like best about cove.tool?**

I like elum tool compared to the cove tool. Elum tool has more professional options as well as it is easier to use with just a simple plugin in Revit.

**What do you dislike about cove.tool?**

Cove tool needs internet and also it was hard to go on and off the building, with less information conclusion.

**What problems is cove.tool solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Seeing the daylighting distribution inside a room.
