It isn’t very clear which features are available through the Shopify app versus the website. I started with the Shopify app, but I didn’t see any mention of the cookie and privacy policy generator, for example. When I switched to the web version, I ran into a few issues, although customer service resolved them promptly. There is not much to dislike. If I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be account and subscription management for users who operate multiple websites or accounts.

In my case, having subscriptions associated with different email addresses made it somewhat difficult to immediately identify where certain charges originated. A more centralized overview of subscriptions and billing across related accounts would make account management even more transparent.

I eventually moved to another consent management platform, primarily because it aligned more closely with my specific Google Ads and Consent Mode requirements. However, this was based on my particular business needs rather than any dissatisfaction with CookieYes itself.
