# What are the best auditing services solutions with proven track records from reviews at companies with 2–10 employees in financial services?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">I'm looking for an auditing firm with a real track record at small financial-services companies, the kind with roughly 2 to 10 people. Early fintech at that size usually needs SOC 2, SOC 1, or PCI, and I want a firm that has actually done this for teams that small, not just for big companies. Here's what I found in<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/auditing-services"> </a><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/auditing-services">Auditing Services</a> category on G2: </p><ul>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/insight-assurance/reviews"><strong>Insight Assurance</strong></a> is the clearest fit. It has the most reviews in the category, many from small companies, and a real set from financial-services reviewers. It also does SOC 1 and PCI, which early fintech often needs.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/johanson-group/reviews"><strong>Johanson Group</strong></a> is the usual pick for seed and Series A startups. Fixed fee, fast turnaround, and plenty of reviews from small teams. Fewer of its reviews are specific to financial services, though.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/decrypt-compliance/reviews"><strong>Decrypt Compliance</strong></a> works with very small startups and fintech, but it has very few reviews so far. Promising, but not much proof yet, so check references carefully.</li>

They don't have a track record at this size, and they may be an overkill for a team this small.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">If you got your first SOC 2 or PCI report at a company this small: which firm sized the work to fit you, and which one tried to sell you something built for a much bigger company?</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"></p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"></p>

Insight Assurance covering SOC 1 and PCI alongside SOC 2 is the specific differentiator for early fintech at this size. Most seed-stage companies start with SOC 2 but need PCI the moment they touch card data. Having one firm that handles both without switching auditors mid-growth is worth more than the headline review count.
