What do you like best about ConvertAPI?

We use ConvertAPI to automatically generate PDF files from our Excel templates in our back office. The integration was simple and, above all, the output is reliable: the generated documents adhere well to our templates without needing manual adjustments. The service does exactly what we expect from it and saves us valuable time on a daily basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ConvertAPI?

I have not encountered any particular problems with the service: the conversions are fast and reliable. The main area for improvement concerns the pricing. In my opinion, there is a lack of an intermediate offer between the free plan and the first paid plan, with a lower quota and a price more suited to modest usage. What do you like best about ConvertAPI?

Their 1-month free trial is very generous (250 conversions included) and allowed me to try a few combinations of files to ensure their solution would meet my needs. Their support team is very responsive; I usually get a reply on the same day. I love that it's a REST API (with cURL documentation!) and that they have a way to test their API built right into the site (I use no-code tools, so this lets me build very quickly and easily) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ConvertAPI?

They don't support image (PNG, JPEG, TIFF) formats for direct redaction - you need to convert to PDF first, then redact. But that hasn't been a big issue for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
