What we like most is how Contify can cover the breadth of our landscape without overwhelming users. We track a sizable set of competitors, select customers, and more, so the platform pulls in press releases, news, marketing content, and other public output, and then filters it down to what actually matters. Updates are organized by entity and also by themes such as new offerings, partnerships, and financial performance, which makes it easy for us to spot relevant moves at a glance while still accommodating the needs of a multi-brand, multi-solution industrial business. If someone logs in expecting a simple, generic news feed, they might miss the power of the structure behind it. We noticed that the value increases a lot once users start engaging directly with views and filters that match their geography, segment, or account focus. It requires some internal enablement to get comfortable with that, but the payoff has been worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find Contify invaluable for monitoring market trends, competitor developments, and key customer activities. The platform allows me to automatically track changes without having to manually search through different sources, streamlining my workflow significantly. I appreciate how Contify consolidates updates and provides them efficiently to my team through email and Slack, ensuring everyone is informed promptly. The AI summaries and automated insights feature are particularly helpful as they gather information from diverse sources and present ready-to-use insights useful for various dashboards and battle cards. The chat module 'Ask Athena' is another feature I commend, as it allows us to directly interact with Contify and query answered swiftly. Moreover, Contify’s integration capabilities with tools like Slack, Power BI, and FactSet enhance our analysis operations and allow seamless data flow within our existing tech stack. I feel that some UI and UX improvements would be beneficial for Contify. While the offering is robust and helpful, especially for intelligence and other business teams, enhancing the user interface and experience could further increase its value and effectiveness. Our primary requirement was to monitor the PC industry and obtain comprehensive insights with minimal effort. Using Contify, we were able to automate these workflows.

Customizations available on the platform to personalize the experience and fit our enterprise use cases have been a great differentiator. The relevance and accuracy of intelligence data are also good, making it a reliable choice for centralizing intelligence content.

The best aspect I like about Contify is that it helps me track competitors across web properties. I don't even need to have a separate app/service for tracking website changes. The additional manual intervention from Contify helps clear the clutter. They have a flexible and dedicated support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One of their current biggest drawbacks is the inability to track Twitter & LinkedIn automatically because of API issues. You have to pay extra for them to either track manually or use API. I can understand this is because of changes at Twitter & LinkedIn's end, but it limits their reach! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The biggest win for our teams by using Contify has been efficiency gains and identification of revenue opportunities. For our product marketing team, Contify automates the process of manually gathering competitor and key customer updates, news, and market trends. We’ve been beta users of their new feature, Athena, and it’s been a great experience using it. The highly structured summary and connected insights from multiple updates save hours of reading and analysis time. Earlier, I used 2 different tools – Crayon and Kompyte, and while they offer good capabilities for battlecards and competitor monitoring, they fail to deliver the value of intel beyond competitive sales. For instance, our sales teams receive critical updates and focus keywords on monitored customers, which helps identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities. These updates have also been helpful in identifying if we risk any customers for churn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

They are doing a good job and introducing amazing features consistently. Team is prompt to add features requested by us and helps in setting things up where we face issues. I know they would have it in their pipeline, but I would like to see more easy-to-make and advanced visual updates in dashboards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Newsletters of competitors keep me updated to latest intel happening in the market. I can just fix alerts for the kind of news I need and it sends those alerts on time which are very helpful. We use it our teams when there is competitor intelligence project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
