**What do you like best about ConnectWise SIEM?**

Co-managed SOC backing means my team is never alone when a serious threat is detected. It’s built specifically for MSPs, so the multi-tenant architecture fits our business model well. Log aggregation across diverse environments provides real visibility into each client’s threat landscape. Overall, it helps MSPs offer security services with confidence, without needing a fully in-house security team.

**What do you dislike about ConnectWise SIEM?**

Onboarding is time-consuming and requires careful planning to ensure all relevant log sources are connected properly. Alert tuning also takes a considerable amount of upfront effort; otherwise, you risk overwhelming technicians with daily false positives. Pricing can be difficult to margin correctly, which makes packaging it profitably a real challenge for MSPs. Finally, deeper threat investigation still requires security knowledge that the average helpdesk technician typically won’t have.

**What problems is ConnectWise SIEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

VM image is not updated frequently enough and there are some vulnerabilities in the latest version.

**What do you like best about ConnectWise SIEM?**

In addition to providing SOC services and endpoint administration and monitoring, Connectwise has put in countless hours to develop a solid solution. Security information and event management (SIEM) solutions provide us with an extra degree of protection, but the majority of SIEM solutions are expensive to implement, frequently hard to operate, and demand a high level of in-house cybersecurity knowledge.

An effective substitute to broaden your security perspective to include both prevention and detection is ConnectWise SIEM. Comprehensive and adaptable SIEM software is part of the solution, which simplifies network safety and security without requiring costly full-time staffing or challenging installs.

**What do you dislike about ConnectWise SIEM?**

There is nothing to dislike about this tool, but the support for it can be made much more efficient

**What problems is ConnectWise SIEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool has helped us to strenthen our cybersecurity posture and offering a way to keep an eye on and assist a broad spectrum of systems with different capacities.

**What do you like best about ConnectWise SIEM?**

Support has been extremely helpful in resolving issues in a timely manner. They are effective and responsive with appropriate solutions. 
The number of integrations with 3rd party products is encouraging. 
The application can ingest a great deal of data and recall it with decent performance capabilities. 
IDS sensors are generally resilient and function well when setup properly. 
The SIEM agent installs and uninstalls without a restart and is generally unobtrusive in its default configuration.

**What do you dislike about ConnectWise SIEM?**

The solution is not quite there for MSP use, especially in terms of global control of parameters for items that can affect all organizations, such as alerts/event notifications. 
There are only 3 access levels to the portal – providing limited granularity and control of changes. This applies to MSP and Client access to the platform.
Users are tied to object permissions, making shared administration of the platform difficult at best. This causes service problems when administrators leave the provider as well. Features around integrations with ticketing systems are lacking. 
Building, generating, and delivering reports can be a hassle. 
No ability to easily export log data. 
The interface is well organized, but it is difficult for new individuals to navigate without training. 
Documentation is wide in breadth, but training on how to use the product is seemingly non-existent. 
The slack channel was removed and not replaced with some other chat function. 
Creating Perchybana KLC statements can be cumbersome.
The Shared Marketplace collections are somewhat difficult to navigate. Creating custom event notifications is not very intuitive.
Finding evidence related to a support incident is cumbersome at times. 
The IDS sensors can be a pain to setup for the uninitiated and the status of those can be difficult to track and maintain when there are 100s to monitor. 
Unresolved alerts won’t re-trigger a ticket. 
The ConnectWise integration page is slow to load for us.

**What problems is ConnectWise SIEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't consider SIEM to be a front-line security solution for combating security related incidents, but it is a very helpful tool for collecting log evidence and alerting us to potential problems. I'd love to see more integrations with other solutions in terms of alerting and ticketing control. A basis for the platform is sharing intelligence with the security community but when other, outside groups need get into logs and examine the trail of breadcrumbs. I think the security posture is largely limited to Windows Platform in some ways, which works well for Windows OS oriented businesses, but it makes me wonder about other things and how that plays into the over-all paradigm of a business's complete security posture.

**What do you like best about ConnectWise SIEM?**

Multiple tabs helps with multitasking and being able to reference past tickets in going about work. The search function work and is useful to when looking up past tickets.

**What do you dislike about ConnectWise SIEM?**

Keeping configurations, as in devices, software, BDR and hosting solutions, organized is somewhat lacking. We have to use 3rd party sync for a better and more intuitive layout. Still, in a pinch, what ConnectWise offers is helpful.

**What problems is ConnectWise SIEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alerts provide minimal info pertaining to any given threat, especially with regard to server access and tools in use.

**What do you like best about ConnectWise SIEM?**

We have tried this tool as our security tools to manage and have a real time threat protection in the environment. It has few first in segment features which helps admins to block outside attacks.

**What do you dislike about ConnectWise SIEM?**

It is good and beneficial for small size organizations which does not want to actively participate in regular monitoring of cybersecurity threats.

It is enabling enterprise-wide visibility and real time threat detection/protection in an environment.

**What do you like best about ConnectWise SIEM?**

The most helpful thing I've found since using CW SIEM is the dashboard views that it provides. At a glance, you can see everything one would need in order to respond to threats in a timely fashion or investigate potential threats. 5 Stars for ease of use!

**What do you dislike about ConnectWise SIEM?**

While it's much more difficult to find a flaw, the only thing that comes to mind is the difficulty one can have at times when searching through logs. Some of the filters are a bit hard to navigate when using the Discover portion of PerchyBana.

**What problems is ConnectWise SIEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CW SIEM helps us see real-time threats on a single pane of glass for all of our clients. This makes it quick and efficient to triage and isolate potential threats within an environment.

**What do you like best about ConnectWise SIEM?**

ConnectWise SIEM is best tool for monitoring and creating automations and reports for our customers. Their support team is also great and is very responsive. We never had a disappointment with the support.

**What do you dislike about ConnectWise SIEM?**

There is nothing to dislike about the tool the only thing I would recommend is their dashboard could be better.

**What problems is ConnectWise SIEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool is great with automation, we have created monthly patchings and monitoring alerts with this tool. It really does the perfect job for our organisation.

The ease at which you can use the features by creating automation. Patching automation can be done. Easily we can access the servers and also get detailed reports. The NOC support team is fantastic.

Sometimes it can take some time while logging in.

It helps in securing cloud servers and devices. It helps me get all the indepth reports and also helps me in getting alerts and patching. 

I am able to create alerts by setting various parameters.

Report feature of connectiwise, their support & response time, userfirendly dashboard, security & process moniroting in detail, event monitoring and error detection.

sometime it is slow while connecting with the machines through LogmeIn.

**What do you like best about ConnectWise SIEM?**

ConnectWise SIEM makes our lives in IT easier by simplifying the processes needed to do our job efficiently. As I'm sure most know, IT is no easy job. Anything that can cut down on bloat and needless complication is a huge win.

**What do you dislike about ConnectWise SIEM?**

I haven't come across much to dislike in ConnectWise SIEM. The bugs have been minimal and everything has just worked for us.

**What problems is ConnectWise SIEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ConnectWise SIEM helps us keep our thumb on device security and status across many properties and many states. It allows us to do work that we wouldn't be able to do otherwise!

It provides extensive security and threat protection measures which helps us in keeping our customer's environment secure and compliant always.

The software sometimes drains lot of memory while assesing the cloud or onpremise environment for threats or vulnerabilities.

ConnectWise SIEM helps us in managing our customer's infrastructure securely and mainting the desired complaince standards. It also helps us in assesing the threats and potential vulnerabilities in customers infrastructure through risk assesments. It aslo provides extensive support to which we can reach out if we need any assistance or face issue.

**What do you like best about ConnectWise SIEM?**

CW SIEM is helpful in that it's partnering and connecting with lots of other companies and utilizing their API we have started using this as almost a one stop shop for a few things.

**What do you dislike about ConnectWise SIEM?**

What's least helpful (in the current right now) is their Audit trail. It lacks in a few areas where it should be just as detailed as you find in their CW ticketing area.  I hear it may be coming.

**What problems is ConnectWise SIEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We get a high level of alerts from multiple platforms and using SIEM helps us not have to get so many alerts in the manner we used to.   We can now use this to filter whats just informative alerts vs whats something that needs action.  We see their growth

It's very easy to navigate and has an endless amount of tools at our disposal.

Every now and then the connection is lost or its counterpart Sell has issues, but other than that no isssues.

The Connectwise SIEM was a great tool for our business. The tools and features would worked well for our company needs. It was easy to learn about it and use it for our needs.

**What do you dislike about ConnectWise SIEM?**

There were some functionalities that weren't straightforward to learn, but we were able to figure out what could we use and what could be done, but overall it was a good product.

Being able to look at the security events and details that we needed to keep eyes on and report/monitor on for our clients.
