When we initially started conducting third-party vendor due diligence as part of compliance, the team was very helpful in explaining the workflow and how we could complete the process on time. The system could be a bit tricky to use, especially since the interface didn’t feel very friendly. We noticed that the follow-up communications from the security assessment team to our customers weren’t as effective. So, we decided to step in and handle all the follow-ups ourselves. Looking ahead, we realized that the security assessment reports failed to reference the correct documents and were often reused from previous reports, resulting in a lack of customization for each vendor as part of the security assessment.
