I didnt have to do much fiddling around to set it up. It also has a really good option where you can run suspicious files in a sandbox environment. I get a lot of email attachments from clients and despite taking best precautions the threat of opening an attachment that contains malicious stuff is very real. The sandbox protection was really great for scenarios like that. If you get an attachment and you arent sure if its a legit file or malware, just open it in sandbox mode to see what it is. You can also automate this sandbox to make life a little easier. I was also pretty happy with how little it impacted the performance of my system. I didnt see any significant slowdowns even when a scan was ongoing. The interface is also really nice. I could find everything I needed to find with a few clicks. If you are an intermediate user like me, you will have no trouble navigating and using it. **What do you dislike about Comodo Antivirus?** I wish there was an option to just buy it and disable the ads. The interface is really good but it still manages to hide a lot of options that a casual user might not see. When it comes to detection rates, this is really solid. It blocked a few softwares from auto installing on my PC that I didnt realise were malware till I googled around. Which is quite fantastic. They also include a Virtual sandbox and a custom browser if you really value your safety, which you should. The bundled in support services are fairly reasonable in price and for advanced users quite fine to skip. **What do you dislike about Comodo Antivirus?** The only thing I disliked was that it tries to upsell you on services you might not need quite hard. Its a small download and it installs really fast. Just make sure you go through the install options slowly, it does try to reset your home page and search engine. You just install it and it takes care of the rest. Usually I have had to mess around with anti virus softwares to get it running just the way I want it. This was pretty much good to go with a few clicks. The UI is simple and easy to navigate. It also pretty resource efficient. I noticed no slowdown after installing it, even with resource heavy applications running (I do a lot of image editing). The updates are also frequent and good to have. Its also got a neat little anti spyware/malware built in. **What do you dislike about Comodo Antivirus?** The automatic detection did flag some legit files. But I dont really blame that on the this. Granted, it might not be suited for large environments with lots of users but for a SMB or even individual personal users, it is definitely recommended.
