Typically good with removing ransomware. **What do you like best about ComboFix?** - Simple Interface - Results from using the tool - Resolves issues that other software won't touch as fixing issues with Windows Registries - Easy to use with a recovery USB - Command Line Interface **What do you dislike about ComboFix?** It's a great piece of software, I have seen it bootloop one machine in my entire time using it. **Recommendations to others considering ComboFix:** Ensure that you understand what this software does before you use it. ### 2. It isn't a silver bullet, but then, nothing really is. **Recommendations to others considering ComboFix:** Keep a full repertoire of malware scanning and remediation tools.
