"A great solution for nearshore"

What do you like best about Cognits?

The team was consultative with us. Unlike other outsourcing companies that are more “order takers”, Cognits helped us think through problems ahead of time and proactively helped us get ahead. What do you like best about Cognits?

They have always exceeded expectations whether in quality of talent, timelines, or budget. That is VERY rare. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cognits?

Nothing crazy stands out. Would be great to have a full team in the same physical room, but let's be honest, that's just not possible in 2023 (and beyond). So for the current distributed world in which we live - grateful to have them as a partner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Cognits:

If you are considering a near-shore partner to help build solutions for you - suggest at minimum touching base with Cognits to get the data point. Worth it IMO. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Cognits solving and how is that benefiting you?

After trying a few other development and off-shoring partners, found Cognits and based on a few positive recommendations and the offering decided to give them a try. Extremely happy we did. Quality of the work is fantastic, and the near-shoring via LatAm is incredibly helpful. Very good talent, value and the similar timezone aspect is more helpful than one may think. I don't actively dislike anything. I would like to see more detailed documentation but that's easily correctible for future work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Cognits solving and how is that benefiting you?

First and foremost, our business looks for partners that we can be successful with as people and a holistic team. Cognits had this in spades - respect, inquisitiveness, and collaboration. We sensed that from the start and it carried through in our work together.

Then, the technical acumen and work effort is high. We work with different platforms - some new, some not as new - that require a breadth of technical expertise to learn and deliver on. The team learned fast and communicated well when they hit obstacles. We learned a lot about Agile given that's the methodology their team delivers in. We will work with them again.
