I appreciate CoCountant’s great communication and customer service. They take the initiative to connect with me and learn about my company, explain what needs to happen clearly and straightforwardly, and often provide extra insight or information. I find them reassuring, and I appreciate that they’re open to changes and customize their service to meet my company’s needs. They help me manage company transitions as my business grows and takes on new projects. When I needed help categorizing and identifying expenses, a representative set up a meeting, shared their screen, and walked me through what to do. I’d like a more consistent representative. I’ve had quite a few representatives in a very short time, and whenever there’s a staff transition, I have to take time to reintroduce the company and explain it again. I like that the specific employee we use as a controller is great. He's very communicative and has great ideas. He also follows instructions very well, which I appreciate. The oversight of the team at CoCountant is wonderful too; they seem to check in at the perfect intervals. I specifically needed a controller to review the books and set up budgets and forecasts, and that's exactly what I got! The focus on the controller method is exactly what I was looking for. As we're still relatively new clients, we're continuing to refine workflows and processes together. The onboarding process required a significant time investment, but we understand that much of that work was necessary to establish a strong foundation.
