I can't say it any better than "buyers are liars, and so are your sellers." For their own reasons, anyone you ask about your product, pricing and go to market processes using your own internal resources will, in some way deceive you. The essence of Clozd is that an objective, third party is doing the asking which reveals the actual feedback and experience of your customer in a way that is otherwise, impossible to get at. Clozd is also a very credible organization and I have found that prospects actually value simply being asked, leaving a positive impression of your own company and product. I have achieved virtually all of my greatest career accomplishments because of feedback derived via Clozd. They listen intently to their customers and are constantly trying to improve. Recommendations to others considering Clozd: I would say don't be intimidated or try to take on too much. As your own sales team what is causing friction, form a loose hypothesis to investigate and then do a small, measured pilot with Clozd. I promise you, the first time your read a loss - or win- report, you will never want to make a serious GTM decision without the benefit of third-party win/loss insight ever again. I have partnered with Clozd to drive the win/loss analysis program in the last three software businesses that I have been a part of. At Nitrogen Wealth, we have used Clozd extensively to diagnose patterns in GTM friction and in particular pricing, brand perception and packaging. Real-world changes we have made based on the objective feedback we have received via Clozd have accelerated the pace of bookings, reduced cycle length, reduced churn and have allowed us to sustain a win rate exceeding 50%. We would have been stumbling around in the dark without Clozd. I personally will not work in a business that is resistant to an externally-delivered, AI-enabled win/loss program such as Clozd. I appreciate Clozd because it provides insight into win and loss analysis that I share with executive leaders at quarterly meetings. It's our main voice of the customer, giving us unbiased customer feedback to see what customers or potential customers actually think of our products and sales process. I personally like the quantifiable data that Clozd provides, and our ELT members find some of the direct qualitative quotes from customers interesting. I also value being able to find positive themes even in losses and identify things we could do better with in wins. Our account manager is great, and I know we get a lot of value out of our regular catch-ups. The syncing with Salesforce makes things very easy for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Clozd? I find the sampling approach for interviews limiting. It would be great to have more statistically significant sampling, so we could focus on specific loss reasons or drivers that are important to us while still seeing the bigger picture. Also, the Report function is a bit clunky. I would love to pre-load our own branded templates, but right now I don't use the feature and instead create my own reports from Excel extracts, which makes my work longer.
