## About Cloudsweep
We believe that the current reactive FinOps approach is incomplete and that FinOps is a Software Engineering challenge. We use code, telemetry and cloud billing information to determine how the customer's code impacts cloud cost in a running system. With this information we produce recommendations with costed code and infra fixes that represent actionable fixes for the cloud cost problem. With this we move FinOps from a reactive (you fix it after you have the cost) to a proactive engineering approach in-line performance, code quality or security. Cloudsweep integrates with the customer's CI/CD pipeline and acts like a very knowledgeable, near real-time code reviewer that interacts with developers informing them of the cost impact of their new pull requests and how to fix them if a problem is found.
