## Cloudify Reviews
  ### 1. With Cloudify you can work with various cloud platforms, enabling hybrid and multi-cloud deployments

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Cloudify?**

Cloudify has an active and growing community of users and contributors. The community provides support, documentation, and resources, making it easier to get started and learn from others' experiences. Having an engaged community can be valuable for troubleshooting, sharing best practices, and getting insights into the platform's usage in real-world scenarios.

**What do you dislike about Cloudify?**

Cloudify's strength lies in managing complex, distributed applications and multi-cloud environments. However, for simpler or smaller deployments that don't require extensive orchestration and automation, Cloudify may appear as overkill. In such cases, simpler tools or approaches may be more suitable and easier to adopt.

**What problems is Cloudify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing the lifecycle of applications, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring, can be challenging, especially for complex, distributed systems. Cloudify provides comprehensive lifecycle management, allowing users to define and enforce policies for scaling, healing, and optimization. This ensures that applications can adapt to changing demands, automatically scale resources as needed, and maintain desired performance and availability levels.

  ### 2. smart user end to end through Automation.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** CHANDAN KUMAR M. | Senior Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Cloudify?**

Easy to simple interface,
Elastic Caching,Post-Deployment Automation,Deployment Monitoring.

**What do you dislike about Cloudify?**

The platform is also equipped with templates and widgets that provide users with access, but if we have problems because the system requires an optimization, to improve the tools .

**Recommendations to others considering Cloudify:**

We recommend it because it is a service that allows us to streamline and save time and cloud-based, which allows us to save time in our company.

**What problems is Cloudify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solved problems because its tools allowed us to automate and streamline cloud processes and, at the same time, help users to ensure that their processes comply with regulations,
it is perfect how to create and allow using virtual machines to improve Company quality.
At the time the problems we were solving with Cloudify were we needed a better way to organize a lot of our network data and applications.
The biggest benefits for us were how easy and effective this platform was, as a whole.

  ### 3. Orchestration of IT appliances, applications and services in a mobile environment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Massimo C. | Network and security Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Cloudify?**

I really enjoyed the possibility of automating the deployment of IT appliances so easily. It is also a great way to scale up IT environments in a fast way. It is also one of the few platforms that supports TOSCA templates. One more thing that I liked of Cloudify is that it is open source! Cloudify's Community Edition is a great tool to start automating IT services.

**What do you dislike about Cloudify?**

Nothing special to highlight as a downside... I would only suggest to provide a more detailed documentation of the product. Also, when I worked with the platform some APIs that I needed were't available... but honestly now I don't remember which API it was. It could be that Cloudify's team developed it in the meantime.

**What problems is Cloudify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had to compose and orchestrate all the IT Services of a military base in a completely automatic way to deploy new sites in a short period. I had to start from bare metal, passing by network and virtualization, to arrive to applications. Everything should have been done automatically. We used platforms as Cloudify, Ansible and Jenkins to achieve it.

  ### 4. its opensource and easy to integrate. online help for tosca templates is available

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad Tahir M. | Chief Network Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Cloudify?**

Easy to set up.
development and testing of templates is easy
plugins are available for all the cloud platforms
documentation is reasonable

**What do you dislike about Cloudify?**

Sometimes the community version went down, so need to restart again and again. API should be more enhanced to export the logs and status of the deployment

**Recommendations to others considering Cloudify:**

The community version is available. You can play around and look out for your requirements. You can also contribute what you think is missing or you can create your own plugins.

**What problems is Cloudify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

automating the deployment and configuration of VNF. its easy provides abstraction and agility to deploy and roll out VNFs

  ### 5. Easy to deploy, self-service, intuitive

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicolás C. | Product Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Cloudify?**

The platform is very intuitive, the integration plugins are awesome and save lots of time. The blueprint definition and edition are great, and you can easily import and export. All possible feature required were considered in the design of the platform, including Sites and Tenant management which is a business enabler

**What do you dislike about Cloudify?**

The look&feel of the platform could be improved, and also shared across all the components like the composer which is a bit different

**What problems is Cloudify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were trying to find a blueprint definition tool based on TOSCA standards and very flexible. This tool allows us to do that in a very scalable way, easily importing and exporting templates. The topology view, and the toggle button to switch between source and topology is very useful

  ### 6. Cloudify for NFV

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giorgos K. | System Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Cloudify?**

Easy to use Graphical User Interface, good integration with critical technologies like NFV, OpenStack, AWS, and Kubernetes. You can deploy your NFV's using the Tosca templates as well, which is very handy.

**What do you dislike about Cloudify?**

I did not find anything that bothered me

**What problems is Cloudify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NFV deployment as well as testing Cloudify for deployment on the Edge, like ETSI MEC

  ### 8. Excellent orchestration tool, but misunderstood and missed its moment of relevance.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric M. | Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2020

**What do you like best about Cloudify?**

Cloudify has a sensible blueprinting mechanism, a clearly defined orchestration process and reasonably straightforward DSL. The python support of Cloudify is a huge plus.
Cloudify support teams are knowledgeable and very helpful. They have a deep understanding of the product.

**What do you dislike about Cloudify?**

Community support is hit/miss. Cloudify doesn’t have the market share or breadth of exposure other deployment tools have. The learning curve is steep for first time users.

**Recommendations to others considering Cloudify:**

Ensure you understand why a graph-based orchestration is more effective in your workflow, compared to alternative deployment tools (I.e. terraform)

**What problems is Cloudify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloudify was very effective in providing a mechanism to orchestrate VM and application deployments in an Openstack private cloud environment. Cloudify would be used to trigger openstack deployments, and call configuration management tools through a custom plugin.

  ### 12. Cloudify

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Cloudify?**

What I like best about Cloudify is how effectively this platform works for uploading/re downloading information that is added into the system. In the past I've used platforms that ultimately worked very slowly, causing various issues, especially time being wasted. Also, this was great for deploying and implementing network services. My other favorite feature was how easy it ended up being to use Cloudify, especially with the widgets and overall user experience. Once I got used to navigating Cloudify, it became super easy to utilize and organize different types of data I was working with.

**What do you dislike about Cloudify?**

There isn't much I disliked about using Cloudify, when I was using it. Though the main thing I would say I had trouble with was actually getting used to working with this. Essentially, just like any other platform, it takes a little getting used to. Otherwise, I would say it served its purpose very well for what was needed at the time.

**Recommendations to others considering Cloudify:**

Take your time when getting used to this platform. Ultimately, it is very easy to utilize and work with, but initially it might feel a little overwhelming, mostly because it's got a lot of features to play with.

**What problems is Cloudify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At the time the problems we were solving with Cloudify were we needed a better way to organize a lot of our network data and applications. Previously, we'd had issues with different services we tried using, so this ended up being a beneficial solution for our needs. The biggest benefits for us were how easy and effective this platform was, as a whole.
