## Cloud-Delivered Security Services Reviews
  ### 1. Simple and fast

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Cloud-Delivered Security Services?**

What I like the most about Cloud-Delivered Security Services is that they’re easy to scale and don’t need physical hardware. You can secure different devices and environments fast, even if they’re remote. It also helps a lot that everything is updated automatically and monitored in real time, so you don’t have to stress about it breaking or going down. It saves time and makes things smoother, especially when you’re building or working under pressure. Plus, it works well with other tools and systems, which is a big win

**What do you dislike about Cloud-Delivered Security Services?**

What I don’t like is that you don’t have full control. If something breaks or goes down, you have to wait for the company to fix it. Also, the price can get high if your team or usage grows. And at first, it takes a bit of time to understand how everything works and connect it with your own systems

**What problems is Cloud-Delivered Security Services solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us protect remote teams and systems without needing a lot of hardware or setup. Before, it was hard to keep everything secure when people were working from different places. Now we don’t worry as much about managing updates or patching things manually. It saves us time and reduces mistakes. We also get better visibility on what’s happening in real time, so we can catch issues faster before they become big problems

  ### 2. Good Security Service with Strong Cloud Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Komal P. | Data Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Cloud-Delivered Security Services?**

I really like how easy it is to use the service after the initial setup. The cloud delivery makes it very convenient to manage security from anywhere without the need to install complex hardware. Customer support is usually helpful and quick to respond to my questions. The number of features is good, and they keep updating it often which is nice for staying protected from the latest threats. Also, integration with other cloud tools in our stack is pretty smooth most of the time.

**What do you dislike about Cloud-Delivered Security Services?**

One thing I find a bit frustrating is the complexity during the first implementation. It took some time and trial to figure out the best configurations for our environment. Some features are powerful but a bit confusing to use unless you spend time learning them. Also, occasionally the customer support response is slow during peak times. The pricing can feel a bit high for smaller teams like ours. Overall, it works well but could be more user-friendly especially at the start.

**What problems is Cloud-Delivered Security Services solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us keep our network secure from malware and unwanted traffic, especially with more people working remotely. Before using this, managing security across cloud apps was harder and we had to rely on multiple tools. Now, it solves those challenges by offering a unified cloud-based platform that’s easier to manage and updates automatically. This saves time, reduces risks, and gives me peace of mind that our data is protected even as new threats come up.

  ### 3. Everything was great

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ali A. | .NET Software Engineer (Remote), Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Cloud-Delivered Security Services?**

I find Cloud-Delivered Security Services extremely helpful due to their robustness and reliability. The ease of scalability and the comprehensive security features they offer are particularly impressive. The service ensures that our data remains secure without compromising on performance.

**What do you dislike about Cloud-Delivered Security Services?**

While generally positive, there are some considerations. Integration with existing systems can sometimes be challenging, requiring careful planning and execution. Additionally, certain advanced features may require additional setup and customization.

**What problems is Cloud-Delivered Security Services solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloud-Delivered Security Services have been instrumental in addressing our organization's cybersecurity challenges. They provide robust protection against threats like malware, phishing, and data breaches, which are critical in safeguarding our sensitive information and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This proactive approach has significantly enhanced our overall security posture and minimized the risk of cyber incidents, thereby protecting our reputation and maintaining trust with our clients.

  ### 4. scalability, cost savings and enhanced security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Callum M. | Harbour Security Guard, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Cloud-Delivered Security Services?**

The upside of using cloud based security surveillance is that sites can be remote monitored be it for difficulty of staff to get to such as offshore rigs where safety is paramount in places where staff can not be such as where gas suppression systems are installed or where critical points need repaired and kept an eye on during this time so that no accidents occur (an example being the piper alpha condensate pump) cameras can also be moved from location to location with ease as they can be battery powered without needing data cables, Ai can also help detect any abnormalities..

**What do you dislike about Cloud-Delivered Security Services?**

There can be bandwidth lag if wireless communications are poor and there are some weaknesses in classifying and decoding traffic flow because of being data stream content based.

**What problems is Cloud-Delivered Security Services solving and how is that benefiting you?**

cloud based security and surveillance it doesn't just solve problems it prevents them before they ever have a chance of happening and becoming a problem.

  ### 5. Cloud security I could roll out in an afternoon

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Cloud-Delivered Security Services?**

I love that everything—DNS security, URL filtering, sandboxing—comes bundled in one cloud console. I just switch it on and our test phones and laptops are covered wherever we work, even on sketchy coffee-shop Wi-Fi. The threat-intel feed updates itself in the background, so I spend more time testing apps and zero time pushing signatures or patches.

**What do you dislike about Cloud-Delivered Security Services?**

The pricing tiers feel like a tax on growth; every extra seat adds up fast for a tiny startup budget. The interface is powerful but there are so many knobs that I needed a full afternoon of docs-surfing before I felt safe changing policies. Also, if our main link drops, enforcement pauses until fail-over kicks in.

**What problems is Cloud-Delivered Security Services solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our mobile-app QA lab spins up dozens of emulators and physical phones every day, often on café or home Wi-Fi. Before CDSS we kept tripping over sketchy ad-net domains and the occasional malicious beta APK, which meant wiping devices and losing test time. Now the DNS filter blocks bad domains up-front, the sandbox detonates any suspicious APKs, and the IDS/IPS layer flags exploit traffic instantly. We’ve cut incident tickets to almost zero, reclaimed hours each week, and can hand clean audit reports to clients with confidence.

  ### 6. My experience so far has been great. I was able to find whatever i was looking for with ease.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

So far i have not pinpointed something that didn't quite fit my solution. The services offered have sufficed to my solutions and i was able to quickly resolve any issues that occured.

**What problems is Cloud-Delivered Security Services solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloud-delivered security services help solve the problem of securing dynamic and distributed business environments against sophisticated threats, while also enabling operational efficiency, compliance, and scalability. They make it possible for organizations to protect users, data, and applications wherever they are, without the burdens of on-premise infrastructure.

  ### 7. A cost saving approach while increasing uptime and cyber protection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Cloud-Delivered Security Services?**

Designed to scale easily. Our company is pretty big and we often have new partners and acquisitions, so a cloud based security solution scales well and is easy to adopt. And Palo Alto is already a leader in this space, we were confident their solutions are future proof. Their solutions are also easy to use and integration was relatively easy in our environment.

**What do you dislike about Cloud-Delivered Security Services?**

There is not much to dislike as there are mostly benefits here, but cost may be a concern for some. However for bigger companies like ours, there could in fact be cost savings. There is a learning curve too, but so is with any other solution, including on-prem or inhouse developed such.

**What problems is Cloud-Delivered Security Services solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were trying to find a solution that would integrate well in our environment where we were perviously using products from multiple vendors and also solutions developed in-house.
Chosing Palo Alto was not a difficult decision. We were already using their firewalls and EDR products. Our team received training and top notch technical support in every phase of the deployment of their cloud delivered security services.
We continue to benefit from their advantages with Unit42, WildFire, Panorama and their wide range of other security products helping us to address threats quickly and efficiently. Cloud Identity was one of our latest implementations after our success with Cortex XDR. Cortex XSOAR, Prisma Access and Strata Logging Service.

Easy to deploy and to manage.
Updates reach everyone immediately.
No need to deal with infrastructure.
You can change devices without worrying about setting up the needed services locally.

**What do you dislike about Cloud-Delivered Security Services?**

Higher cost than other solutions.
They could be a single point of failure if incidents like the Crowdstrike event happen.
Not completely in-charge of the solution.

**What problems is Cloud-Delivered Security Services solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can get easy of mind about malicious attempts to our own infrastructure and services. And prevent users of going to un-wanted web locations. Or someone gaining access to our internal solutions.

  ### 11. Streamlined Security, Simplified Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anirudha B. | Research Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Cloud-Delivered Security Services?**

The best aspect is the centralized management and automatic updates, ensuring we always have the latest security protections without manual intervention.

**What do you dislike about Cloud-Delivered Security Services?**

While generally positive, initial setup and integration with legacy systems required careful planning and some troubleshooting. There can be a dependency on internet connectivity, and occasional latency can impact real-time monitoring. Additionally, ensuring proper data residency and compliance within the cloud environment requires diligent management and understanding of the providers policies.

**What problems is Cloud-Delivered Security Services solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloud-Delivered Security Services are primarily solving the problems of distributed threat management and the need for constant security updates. By leveraging DNS security solutions, we've significantly reduced the risk of phishing and malware attacks originating from malicious domains. The IDPS capabilities provide real-time threat detection and prevention, stopping potential breaches before they impact our systems. The malware analysis tools have improved our ability to identify and respond to zero-day threats and advanced persistent threats.
This has benefited us by:
 1. Reduced Incident Response Time: Automated threat detection and prevention allow us to respond to incidents faster, minimizing potential damage.
 2. Improved Threat Visibility: Centralized monitoring and reporting provide a comprehensive view of our security posture, enabling proactive threat management.
 3. Reduced Operational Overhead: Cloud-based services eliminate the need for extensive on-premise infrastructure and maintenance, freeing up IT resources.

  ### 12. Comprehensive, Cloud-Native Security with Prisma Access

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Cloud-Delivered Security Services?**

I appreciate how Prisma Access unifies Secure Web Gateway, CASB, and ZTNA into a single, cloud-native console—eliminating the need to juggle multiple point products. Policy management is consistent across on-prem and remote users, while AI-driven WildFire threat analysis and daily threat-intelligence updates keep us protected against both known and zero-day attacks. Automated policy enforcement has cut our admin workload by roughly 25% and given us real-time visibility into all traffic.

**What do you dislike about Cloud-Delivered Security Services?**

The main drawback is the licensing cost, which can be significant for smaller teams or lean IT budgets. Integration with some third-party tools—especially bespoke SaaS apps—occasionally requires custom scripting or professional services. I’d love to see a more modular pricing option and out-of-the-box connectors for popular enterprise apps.

**What problems is Cloud-Delivered Security Services solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By combining network-level intrusion detection and prevention with DNS-level threat filtering and WildFire’s sandbox-based malware analysis, Prisma Access blocks attacks at every stage of the kill chain. Intrusion prevention signatures stop exploit attempts in real time, while DNS security blocks command-and-control and phishing domains before a connection is ever made. Suspicious files are automatically detonated in WildFire’s cloud sandbox, generating custom indicators that feed back into both the IPS and DNS engines. As a result, we’ve reduced successful intrusion attempts by 45 %, cut phishing-related incidents by 60 %, and slashed malware investigation time by 50 %—freeing our security team to focus on threat hunting and strategic projects rather than reactive triage.

Like the introduction of AWS's inception, CDSS gives network engineers, system administrators, and IT Professionals the capability to build deploy and manage network operations and security at a granulated level with a robust level of capability.

**What do you dislike about Cloud-Delivered Security Services?**

Well for example, the concern that occurred with Crowdstrike is on everyone's minds these days. If something happens at the service provider's command post then there is trickle down effect and depending on how the company has designed their network topology and infrastructure, there could be some problems for the end user/customer. Also the potential for recently released reports on Enterprise/Commercial Hardware, Software, and Platforms of Network providers was released and it was startling and can lead to unexpected problems.
