The main downside is that credits can run out quite quickly when you are validating a larger number of contacts, especially if you need to test several possible email patterns for the same person. I would also like a little more detail around borderline or uncertain results, so it is easier to understand whether an address is worth trying or should simply be excluded. The catch-all email detection is what really sets it apart. Most verification tools just flag catch-all domains as "risky" and leave you guessing, but ClearBounce actually runs provider-specific checks for Gmail, Microsoft 365, Yahoo and others to give you a real answer. The bulk verification is fast and the results are broken down clearly — deliverable, risky, undeliverable — so I know exactly which emails to keep and which to remove. The API integration was also

The platform is still relatively new so some advanced features like CRM integrations are limited compared to bigger competitors. Right now only Mailchimp is supported natively.
