What do you like best about Civil 3D?

Civil 3D is great for creating surfaces, profiles, proposed grading, etc. Definitely speeds up the process as compared to the old way by hand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Civil 3D?

The hardest part is the initial setup to make your finished product look like the way you have been doing it by hand for years. However, once it is setup, it definitely speeds up the process. The other negative is the price as compared to traditional AutoCAD. It is worth it once the staff is all up to speed using the program though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Civil 3D?

I really like Civil 3D's range of tooling. It's great how we can execute an entire civil design, covering everything from underground to linear structures, and it's purpose-built for industry needs. I find the corridor creation feature to be particularly powerful, especially with its ability to place a single roadway and the dynamic nature it offers. It generates a linked object with a vast amount of information for linear infrastructure, making it one of its most valuable assets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Civil 3D?
