When starting a nonprofit organization we had a limited budget. We decided to go with CiviCRM for our database management. I didn't have a coding background, but figure out how to install Drupal and the CiviCrm software and got it working. Over time, I had a few challenges with my hosting service and the software and chose to move to CiviHosting. It was right move. The service has been always been EXCELLENT and the response time is always super fast. The support team at SureSupport is outstanding. I have piece of mind knowing I can trust the people at CiviHosting for my business needs. **What do you dislike about CiviHosting?** I am trying to think of any issues I have had with CiviHosting over the years, and I come up blank. I have no complaints regarding CiviHosting. **What problems is CiviHosting solving and how is that benefiting you?** I moved to CiviHosting from another hosting provider when I was having problems with CiviCrm. It was a long time ago, so I don't remember the specific problem we were experiencing. Moving to CiviHosting was the right choice. The service has been gradually enhanced so some things that needed a support ticket are now available with the Control Panel. It provides all the flexibility I need. On the rare occasions I contact support, they are very quick to respond. **What do you dislike about CiviHosting?** Nothing. I've been a customer since 2020. I never get spam emails with nonsense like from other providers, and frankly I forget they exist outside of reminders of my yearly hosting fees, which goes to show that it just works. **What do you dislike about CiviHosting?** As a newer user the client admin area was a bit overwhelming with all the menus and things I could do, but I think that's a feature of the service and not necessarily a reflection of civihosting. **What problems is CiviHosting solving and how is that benefiting you?** Setting up a Mediawiki server was very overwhelming for me so I found a host to do it for me. ### 4. This year is the first time they have raised prices at the plan level we utilize and it is relatively nominal considering the way the economy has been lately. All in all it is a perfect solution for non-profits and small business, like mine, to be able utilize CRM software of actual quality. Customer service response times are quick and professionally friendly. The server access platform is easy to use and took very little time to implement. **What do you dislike about CiviHosting?** Just wish they had a few more vetted vendors for CIviv CRM upgrades/to install updates. We aren't able to have a dedicated staff memeber knowledgeable enough to do so and have to an outside contractor. Having more options that CiviHosting recommends would give me a bit more piece of mind when giving that contractor access to our data. But ultimately this isn't a dealbreaker by any means. **What problems is CiviHosting solving and how is that benefiting you?** The parent institution my program is housed in doesn't want my program's data entered into their data system nor stored on their internal servers. CiviHosting offered us the best option at the best price to be able to capture all necessary data and customize a system to very specific parameters needed to report to the granting state agency that provides our funding. ### 5. I'm not a very knowledgable person - our Civi system was set up many years ago and was designed specifically for our needs as a very small nonprofit organization. I will say any time I have a question or a problem, Civi support has been available to help. For that I'm truly grateful. **What do you dislike about CiviHosting?** I think the system can be a bit overwhelming in terms of the details. That's why the best part of Civi hosting for me has been the personal care to details and also to respond to my questions. **What problems is CiviHosting solving and how is that benefiting you?** The system was designed many years ago with the specific needs of our organization. We take ticket orders and maintain a website. Being designed to meet our very specific needs has been the greatest success in using Civi. ### 6. I also like the fact I have access to support from a provider who has first hand experience with CiviCRM, as well as the 24-7 server support. The pricing is good, my sites have never gone down or been hacked.
