Anybody who have access to citrix environment can access it from any system without need to install applications and softwares on the local system. It is very secured as you can't copy data from inside to outside citrix. You will have most recent softwares and updates already available unlike local system where you have to download all the updates. **What do you dislike about Citrix DaaS?** It is very difficult if you have to toggle between local and Citrix workspace as you can't copy and past the data. You should have a broad connection of atleast 50mbps speed to use Citrix environment without any issues. Not sure if that has been improved since, but I do recall it requiring some effort and changing a few settings on my computer. It also does not work well if you are trying to do a split screen workspace with multiple monitors. You can easily reset or delete passwords for a user profile. Citrix picks up the profile from end user local desktop. Everything is pretty much similar to local desktop. You can easily move files from local desktop to citrix desktop. **What do you dislike about Citrix DaaS?** Sometimes it gets real slow. It takes a lot of time to load user profile. Microsfot log-ins have been messing in the citrix workspace recently too. It should be more fast. Sometimes if a user is using excel, his process gets stuck in any of citrix servers. We have to manually disconnect the user in order for him to work. We have to run citrix cleanup app to remove all processes running in background if citrix gets stuck. It provides certain kind of freedom to work from home. People should give this a try over VMware.
