**What do you like best about CipherScan?**

CipherScan has been fully self-serve from Day 1. It has a range of integrations from AWS, GCP, Azure, to Mongo, Bitbucket, ServiceNow, Jenkins, etc. which makes the cryptographic discovery really comprehensive. We have evaluated some other platforms but none of them are as mature, as easy-to-operate, and as comprehensive as CipherScan and CipherNova. What particulary stands out is their automated remediation engine for post quantum cryptography and certificate migration. They are clearly a pioneer in the PQC and post-quantum readiness space.

**What do you dislike about CipherScan?**

It can need some technical understanding to use it but it's actually very convenient to use and generate a CBOM that is Cryptographic Bill of Materials.

**What problems is CipherScan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an organisation, we have to perform cryptographic discovery and prepare a CBOM to comply with ANSSI and Executive Order 14412 and CipherScan fits right there. We were able to carry out the one-time cryptographic scan of our complete technical infrastructure in about 7 days and generate the reports including CBOM in 10 days. Now we are onto the cryptographic migration path that is handled by CipherNova.
