It is quite intuitive and fits with how I see my work flow. It is easy to learn to use this software and seems to integrate with other cerner based modules well. there are multiple ways of accessing data, which is helpful. **What do you dislike about Cerner Pharmacy?** At times this software can be slow. This occurs most frequently when switching from one patient to another. **What problems is Cerner Pharmacy solving and how is that benefiting you?** This software has helped to integrate what we had been doing on the retail pharmacy end through various systems. It has allowed for less errors, which had been costly in terms of loss of revenue and staff time. ### 2. Multiple ways to view the same information, just depending on which patient information you wish to view more often and in greater detail. **What do you dislike about Cerner Pharmacy?** Must click a few times to get past information as the latest data will always show, but relatively recent data will not upload immediately unless you prompt it to load. Thus, you can sometimes think that a documentation folder does not have recent information when in reality they do. Also, you must have a close eye on dates as there is no indication of recent (within the last few days) and somewhat recent (within the past few months) of patient data for those who visit the hospital on a more frequent basis. **Recommendations to others considering Cerner Pharmacy:** Have another healthcare provider show you how to use it initially as they will offer you tips and tricks on how to view and import information to make documenting on a patient easier. They can also show you where to locate information on the Emergency department, additional clinical notes, operative reports, and other pertinent information that may be initially hard to find. **What problems is Cerner Pharmacy solving and how is that benefiting you?** Improved way to share information with other healthcare providers and be on the same page in order to provide the best care in the world. Ensure that documentation is being placed in at the appropriate time and know exactly who put it in to hold the person accountable. ### 8. The user controls are simple yet the application as a whole is sophisticated. The ability to see where a patient is located in real time is extremely helpful when they are going through various testing in multiple departments of the hospital. I use the tracking tool to see when a patient is ready for a consultation. **What do you dislike about Cerner Pharmacy?** The aspect I most dislike about the application is very minute but helped so much. After the update, the application no longer automatically refreshes my patient list every five minutes like it used to. I fell like this opinion is very nitpicky but I do have to manually refresh my patient list every so often so I do not miss a chance to visit with a patient before another department gets to them. **Recommendations to others considering Cerner Pharmacy:** I would make sure to keep employees trained on the new updates. If you have ideas or changes to the application feel free to voice your concern because the developer will help. **What problems is Cerner Pharmacy solving and how is that benefiting you?** This application obviously serves as a communication device between healthcare professionals and maintaining patient's medical records. The benefits of this are recognized with long term patients where recurring care is happening. I can see all of the patient information like DOB, past treatments, past prescriptions, past providers, physician notes, and nursing statements. Again, the real-time information is extremely helpful to ensure no mistakes are made. ### 10.
