I love the embeddable digital broadcast player and the hyperlinkable* timestamps. Likewise, the AMIE promotion manager is by all accounts exceptionally encouraging. **What do you dislike about Captivate?** The main hindrance with Captivate is that there is no free arrangement to begin with. It's an obstruction of section for some yet the worth will be worth the effort as I would like to think since there is no restriction to facilitating **What problems is Captivate solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're ready to have various digital broadcasts and smooth out our distributing work process by coordinating it with other applications utilizing Zapier. It is our first digital broadcast have yet we regret nothing without a doubt ### 3. I had never started a podcast before and Captivate made it such a smooth process when it comes to hosting, advertising, and tracking analytics. **What do you dislike about Captivate?** I don't have too many complaints, really. It could be how my organization set up the account, but I had an issue with the number of 'seats' we had and who could log into the account. **What problems is Captivate solving and how is that benefiting you?** Captivate made the process of starting a business podcast a breeze with hosting, advertising, planning, and data tracking all in one place. It also made it super easy to submit the podcast to all major distributors! ### 5. I love the embeddable podcast player and the hyperlinkable* timestamps. Also, the AMIE ad editor seems to be very promising. **What do you dislike about Captivate?** The only disadvantage with Captivate is that there is no free plan to start with. It's a barrier of entry for some but the value is worth it in my opinion since there is no limit to hosting. **Recommendations to others considering Captivate:** While there is no free tier, the value that you get with Captivate is surely worth it. You are able to publish to many different audio platforms, including Spotify, Deezer, and Amazon, with one click. Other platforms have a streamlined setup that you can initiate through the platform. **What problems is Captivate solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're able to host a number of podcasts and streamline our publishing workflow by integrating it with other apps using Zapier. It is our first podcast host but we have no regrets for sure. ### 7. It's fantastic software for making micro-learning video **What do you dislike about Captivate?** I really haven't come across too many issues with this software since begin using it. **What problems is Captivate solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Captivate to create micro eLearning videos, teaching tools, and class-size training. ### 8. I knew absolutely nothing about podcast distribution but it did not take long to figure it all out. It is very important to fill out everything (contact info, categories, about section, social links etc) for best result which might take a bit take a little time to set it all up, but it's worth the one time effort. Also, the analytics are useful to understand your audience better and know what's working. **What do you dislike about Captivate?** There isn't much I can say - something small is that it is slightly annoying is that the episode artwork needs to be a very specific size, it will not automatically compress an image that is a bit large, so it adds an extra step for when uploading each episode. **What problems is Captivate solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main benefit is the ease of distribution. It was pretty easy to get everything set up and have the RSS feed published on many podcast platforms (some with just a click, some took a little more effort). I also like the brand kit that can be generated at any time showing up to date information on how your podcast is performing to provide potential sponsors / partnerships. ### 9. Always innovating. My previous host would charge extra for each podcast and for detailed stats. Since I've been a client, they've added a ton of value, such as the ability to schedule guests, to create a podcast network, and to insert ads dynamically... all for the same price. **What do you dislike about Captivate?** There honestly isn't anything I dislike. Captivate meets all my current needs. It provides an excellent service at a reasonable price and offers training to become a better podcaster. **What problems is Captivate solving and how is that benefiting you?** As mentioned above, I moved to Captivate because it offered more features for less money compared to what I would have had to pay if I stayed at my previous host. ### 10. I love this service and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to start a podcast. **What do you dislike about Captivate?** Customization for Captivate Sites is limited and analytics cannot be exported currently, but seriously everything else is worth it. I would like those features improved upon in the future. **Recommendations to others considering Captivate:** This is fantastic! **What problems is Captivate solving and how is that benefiting you?** Podcast hosting, distribution, analytics, podcast website, guest booking, web player for the company website, and growing team with future podcast network. The way the numbers are broken down and even the colors and graphics - the whole scheme of the platform - is just very easy to digest and work with. **What do you dislike about Captivate?** I really don't dislike anything... I haven't had any problems. I think it might be nice if there was also a place to see what the payout will be after taxes but this isn't the worst thing **What problems is Captivate solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's easier to understand how much of my commission I am getting. I already get this information in my pay statement but this is a separate spot where it's broken down. ### 12.
