**What do you like best about Capital?**

Capital’s integration, compatibility and connectivity are clear strengths. It connects smoothly with PLM desgin tools and works well alongside generative product services and features solutions even whem I’m operating under constraints. It also integrates with NX and offers solid connectivity with other systems. The configurability is especially valuable because it supports integration with existing processes and the SDK adds extra flexibilitu when tailoring the setup to specific needs. Capital feels like a powerful tool for 3D solid work, with straightforward editing, free form access, rendering, element analysis and texture mapping and it has veen reliable in my experience.

**What do you dislike about Capital?**

The software upfront capital cost is expensive. At times, the multiscreen support handling could be better and feel more polished. Even so, it still helps us move toward our goals for out future IT landscape.

**What problems is Capital solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Capital capability connects our electrical data systems with strong quality and speed. It can automatically support preferred components and harness advanced products, which helps us stay aligned with our goals as our future landscape evolves. It also makes transformation easier for teams by improving desgin ease, supporting business continuity and maintaining data continuity throught the process.

**What do you like best about Capital?**

Capital is fast and reliable to use. I mostly work on large electrical systems, and I spend a lot of time on NX integration and the data flows between the two. Extracting schematics and wiring diagrams is straightforward as well, with a clear, easy workflow. I also appreciate that it lays out options like SOAP and REST documentation.

**What do you dislike about Capital?**

Capital has been helpful for managing change and handling revisions. That said, it may not be the best fit for simpler designs, and it can sometimes feel more geared toward larger companies. Even so, I still think Capital is a solid overall option for users.

**What problems is Capital solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It eliminated disconnected tools and gave us a single source of truth for electrical design data. Capital releasing is great and it also lets us analyze manufacturing components more effectively. Capital can also integrate with Teamcenter, which cuts down on confusion and makes it easier to ensure updates are reflected everywhere. Overall, it helps support the digital transformation of our design workflow.

**What do you like best about Capital?**

Fast and reliable platform to use. With the Capital Suite of applications, I can create desgins for any project. Connectivity is solid and supports a variety of use cases, while also integrating well into existing processes. The workfloe support between tasks is clarr, which helps keep my daily work routine work smooth and easier to manage.

**What do you dislike about Capital?**

I find your service management very easy to use and genuinely good. However, on the server side. I ran into a few issues with 1 moth and 2,3 days auch as changes in the backed team. I understand its important to keep the work running smoothly, bit please also keep users informed when these kinds the  work running smoothly, but please also keep usera informed when these kinds of changes happen.

**What problems is Capital solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Capitalizing important features and adding much needed structure helps set up Automatex to handle a large number of elements that contribute data. This esepecaily helpful when working data sources and needing adaptability.

**What do you like best about Capital?**

I mostly work on large electrical systems, so I needed a tool that can handle that scale. The schematic tools and wiring views are detailed enough for everyday work and hold up well in daily use. We also rely heavily on NX integration and the data flows smoothly between the two. Reusing conponents is practical, especially once the library is stable and well organized.

**What do you dislike about Capital?**

As new users, we struggled a bit at the beginning. We also noticed a slow response when switiching between modules, but over time the experience has been great anf its been worth it.

**What problems is Capital solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It brought our desgin work into a single system; before, there were gaps between teams. Now the data stays consistent, handoffs are smoother and theres less confusion when multiple teams are working on the same project. Its made cross team collaboration feel more connected and easier to manage.

**What do you like best about Capital?**

We use Capital in a fairly large setup with multiple engineering teams involved. Whats works well for us are the rule based design checks and the way it flags inconsistencies early in the process. The integration with PLM tools also helps us track changes, which matters a lot when requirements keep shifting. Once you’re familiar with the workflow, extracting schematics and wiring diagrams is straightforward and the resuable componets help support a consistent configuration managemnt process across teams.

**What do you dislike about Capital?**

Capital performance can lag when I’m working on heavier desgin tasks and the UI feels overly complicated. It really needs improvement and it could be refined to make the experience easier and more intutive to use.

Capital everything in Manage instead of juggling multiple tools. That alone cuts down on confusion and makes it easier to maintain traceability across the different desgin stages. With stronger data continuity and a one source of truth, it ultimately helps improve desgin quailty.

**What do you like best about Capital?**

Capital is a powerful tool I’ve primarily used it for schematics and harness desgin and it manages complex setups without much issue very few problems. It also helps centralize the broader systems engineering approch, which keeps our work consistent and alignedacross the team. The integration with tools NX and SoildWorks is a advantage, since we don’t have to recreate desgins when moving between platforms. Once you’re comfortable with workflow, it noticeably speeds things up and makes daily work more efficent.

Random pop-ups sometimes break my flow, especially I’m working on tight deadlines. I also run into a lot of internet facing issues where there isn’t enough proper customiaztion, and that ends up affecting performace as things scale.

Capital helps us keep desgin data consistent across tools and reduces errors when moving from concept to production. The software also offers strong visibility, making it easier to connect everything across the system. Thats has been a clear improvement for us.

Capital covers a broad set of needs, from logical desgin all the way through harness manufacturing. I appreciate that it supports formats and can connect to other engineering systems without imposing too many restrictions. The documenation is easy to follow and clearly outlines options like REST, SOAP AND HX2ML. That openness to intrgrating with in house solutiona is a real advantage for me when I’m making architecture level decisions.

Capital has been helpful for managing change and handling revisions. However, parts of the documentation could be clearer, because I ended up learning on internal knowledge more than I expected. It would also be much easier if integrating Capital with other enterprise systemswere more straightforward.

I’ve been using Capital to managing wiring and harness desgin and once everything is properly set up and configured, its both fast and very capable. It also lets you establish a common environment that can be shared across different desgin teams and products, which helps keep the work consistent from one project to the next. The cross module traceability is a standout benefit as well, since you can track changes from the schematics all the way through the desgin process. Integration with NX is another major, when you’re collaborating closely with mechanical teams.

Capital Initial setup Fast, but migrating older data and building a solid componet library still take real effort. The sheer number of modules can also slow overwhelming at first, particularly when you’re trying to understand how traceBility works across them and how everything connects end to end.

What I appreciate most is how well it manges complex electrical data without everything turing into a mess. The data driven approach makes it much easier to resuse desgina from one project to the next, which saves time and keeps things consistent. I also depend on the reporting tools because they streamline desgin review and help move them along faster, it comes across as a mature tool thats clearly been around in the industry for a long time. The integrations with simulation tools are another plus, since they make validating desgins more straightforward than way we used to do it.

Performance could definitely be better. When I’m working on larger programs, it can lags at times, especially during data heavy operations and it feels slower than I’d expect. Even so, Capital is still a good option overall for users.

The concept of a digital thread is executed well. Its extremely helpful to be able to trace everything from individual connectors all the way up to full harness assemblies. Capital platform supports data continuity, which mattets a lot on larger projects where consistency is critical. The toolset also enables extraction and analytics, which helps with decision making. Integration with other applications is generally strong as well.

Some integrations especially the out of the box ones aren’t as seamless as I expected. I often end up needing extra configuration or support to get evwrything working properly. Performance can also dip when I’m working with very large datasets, which slows things down. I also think it would be really helpful to compare it with other platforma to better understand where it stands.

Capital makes circuit and harness desgin more efficient by keeping everything centralized in the Capital dashboard. The built in component library is practical and adding new parts is straightforward when we need to extend it. It also matters a lot me that this part of the Siemens portfolio support the end to end digital thread. I have also found the simulation features such as voltage drop analysis useful for validating desgins early on without having to rely on extra tools.

Capital without full access the tool can feel a limited. It also some time to understand all modules and get confortable using all the features, so theres definitely a learing curve at the begining.

In my daily use, it's amazing how Capital has strong integration with PLM and CAD tools. The fluid analysis and basic editing tools make Capital more seamless. The discrete event modelling feature is also included. The options for customizations and multiple profiles make this software unique. Everything is in one place and connected, which adds flexibility and supports digitization.

Capital Integration with siemens is not up to the mark, rest features are really useful for daily life.

**What do you like best about Capital?**

From and IT operations perspective, Capital is very manageable. Deployment and straightforward and ongoing maintenance is easy to keep on top of. It also handles complex engineering data well, which is important for oue use cases. I especially like that information stays connected across the different applications, so it doesn’t feel fragemented. The built in integrations including REST/SOAP support, make it simplet to connect Capital with other enterprise systems.

There are still gaps is how smoothly it connects with certain MBSE or modeling tools and some intergrations still require workarounds. Clearer, more detailed guidance on those integration steps would help.

Instead of relying on scattered systems, we have a more unified view of information, which helps both the engineering and IT teams stay aligned. **What do you like best about Capital?**

Capital makes it easy to desgin circuits and harness systems within a single environment. The built in library is solid and adding new components is straightforward. It also matters to me that its part of the Siemens portfolio since that helps support and end to end digital thread. I appreciate the simulation capabilities as well things like voltage drop and circuit analysis because they save time during validation.

**What do you dislike about Capital?**

I use it everyday and haven’t run into any problems. That said, it would be much more useful if it included all the features by default. As it stands you need an additional license to unlock the full capabilities and without that it ends yo feeling a small limited.

Capital helps our team manage wiring and electrical desgins as part of our everyday office work. I rely on it each day and it keeps our project data well organized and straightforward to follow as work progresses. One of the biggest advantages is being able to take older wiring with data and convert it into usable digital designs. The way custom properties are handled is  flexible, we rely on it heavily to maintain our internal standards integration with NX is also a real plus particularly useful for layout validations.

**What do you dislike about Capital?**

I like that i can pull custom properties and then push additional custom properties back in. As an Admin for TC/NX/Capital, I really appreciate that flexibility especially because connecting external tools isn’t always plugged and play.

**What problems is Capital solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’ve improved the way we store and reuse engineering data, which has reduced the time we used to spend recreating designs from scratch it also made it easier to search through older data find what we need faster and apply it in more meaningful and practical ways.

**What do you like best about Capital?**

Capital is very capable when it comes to creating and validating electrical desgins. I especially like that I can move back and forth between 2D and 3D harness data while keeping everything aligned and consistent. It feels like a mature tool thats been in the industry for a long time, and overall I find it user friendly and fast to work with.

**What do you dislike about Capital?**

The interface frela a bit dated and some workflows could be made more user friendly. It also takes a while to get comfortable with all the features, so there’s a bit of a learning curve at first.

I use Capital Logic to design wire diagrams and functional schematics. It allows me to create end-to-end wire diagrams with all the wire details, which is super helpful. Capital allows us to create smart wire diagrams with digital content that can be extracted. Instead of it being just a simple graphic authoring tool, we can enter part numbers of wires and connectors that will be used to build harnesses. The initial setup was easy, and it's a significant upgrade from the old technology we previously used.

I use Capital to develop S1000D Technical Data Modules for Publications. I really like the wire tracing functionality for pubs, as it allows me to wire trace my publications from pin to pin. This feature helps me walk customers through my pin-to-pin traces on my wiring diagrams and incorporate that into my publications.

The integration to Teamcenter while maintaining ASoT in Capital doesn't work as well for me. Linking Data Modules developed in Capital and publishing those as Data Modules to the Teamcenter Data Module Requirement List could be improved.

I like that the SSO was extremely simple to set up, making it way easier than Teamcenter. Also, it adds a layer of security, which is important because we can't add users until we have SSO. The initial setup of Capital was very easy, although we had some hiccups, but that was unique to our network.

I'm not a fan of the integration with NX/TC. I want a cleaner integration between those via workflows and management of who owns the data. I want release statuses driving actionability in Capital from Teamcenter. Last time I looked at that bridge was several versions ago. I use it stand alone right now because the integrations we could not get working and don't have time to dedicate to it.

I solve electronic problems with Capital, transitioning from 2D drawings to full CAD models and electrical packages. The easy SSO setup is crucial, simplifying user addition and adding a security layer.

I do capital work on large electrical systems, with multiple engineering teams involved. For me the workflow is strong especially when I’m making architecture level deviations and working through feature functionality. It also integrates easily with other tools, which helps keep collaboration smooth and makes handoffs easier.

It would be much smoother and easier to use, without problems cropping up over time. This system has proven to be enterprise capable.

Even though it seems like this is a Siemens product it does not easily integrate with team center so we have been struggling with the integration plan. It also is an issue when you decide to do the integration later rather than at the inception.

We do a lot of harness design and one of the things that is challenging is that it seems that we have a separate instance of the harness routed item inside of team center for space claims, and capitalize on the actual design. I appreciate that they are separate problems to solve, but it makes a challenging because we are going back-and-forth between the two pieces of software and they’re not linked

1) It is very easy to create components and designs in Capital Logic Designer, as easy as using paint!
2) Different Types of Analysis are available to verify the circuit designs created by the user. Example: Closed Circuit analysis, Voltage drop analysis, etc.
3) Capital is very easy and convenient to integrate with CAD software designs. (Not Capital Essentials)
4) Inbuuild Library is good enough and easy to add new Library content as well.
5) Provides a complete Electrical System Design Environment, which helps to manage the roles, documentation, data continuity, and reduces miscommunication.

1) Capital Essentials is a very basic version and lacks many basic functionalities, and the full version, i.e, Capital, is expensive.

3) You cannot do Customization in the Capital Essentials version, and even if you want customization in Capital (Full Version), a separate license needs to be purchased for the same.

The integration between the different suites (i.e. Capital Logic and Capital Harness Designer). It helps to be able to trace the flows and data through the design.
I also find it really useful for it to seamlessly link to Teamcentre Unified as a PLM tool.

I think it would be useful for it to incorporate a bit more AI into the tool, such as possible recommendations for improvements.
Additionally it would be good to have a native system for Design Rule Checks to verify all the ports have been connected etc...

The biggest problem I feel Capital is solving for me is to have a fully integrated solution, and being able to transition from one tool (e.g. Capital Logic) into a physical solution such as NX. I find this especially helpful when doing modifications post design.
