## About Candor
Candor gives the AI agent you already use a place to do your finances. It works with Claude, ChatGPT, Grok Bot, Meta Muse, Codex, OpenClaw, Hermes and other agents, through a hosted MCP server, a CLI or an installable skill. To set it up, you sign up on candor.money, link your bank, card, loan and investment accounts through a bank-grade sign-in, and connect your agent. After that the agent can check in on its own schedule, daily or weekly, and look at your actual transactions and balances. A typical Monday check-in might turn up three things. Rent is due on the 1st but pay doesn't land until the 3rd, so the agent suggests moving $600 from savings and sets a reminder. A card's 0% promo rate ends in six weeks with $1,290 still on it. And a raise came through in August, but the automatic savings transfer never went up. Whatever you and your agent settle on gets saved in Candor: categories and merchant rules, the budget, goals, which recurring charges are real, and a short note on why each decision was made. Next month's check-in doesn't start from zero, and neither does a different agent if you switch. Budget totals and pace are calculated by Candor from your records, so those numbers don't depend on the model's math. Candor is read-only. It can't move money, pay bills, trade or change anything at your bank. Every read your agent makes is logged with its reason, and you can see that log, export your data or delete your account from the dashboard.
