**What do you like best about Cameyo?**

Our organization faced a pivotal challenge in delivering our Windows-based ERP system, VismaBusiness, to all our employees who had transitioned to ChromeOS devices. This ERP system is the backbone of our operations, encompassing critical functions such as purchasing, warehousing, logistics, sales, and finance. In the realm of business-critical needs, this stood paramount.

After careful consideration, we made the strategic decision to implement Cameyo's virtual app delivery platform. This choice has proven to be a game-changer, simplifying and securing the delivery of our ERP software to every device (ChromeOS, Win, Mac etc) in our organization. Cameyo's innovative solution empowers our workforce to access the complete desktop version of our Windows application seamlessly through their web browsers.

The transformative power of this approach cannot be overstated. It eliminates the necessity of installing and managing software on individual devices, streamlining our IT operations significantly. What's more, Cameyo ensures that our employees interact with the same familiar version of the software, now accessible via their browsers. This means there's zero learning curve, preserving productivity and user confidence.

Cameyo played an indispensable role in facilitating our transition to Chrome Enterprise, a transition that would have been inconceivable without the ability to provide seamless access to our Windows ERP software on ChromeOS devices. **What do you dislike about Cameyo?**

Cameyo has been a valuable addition to our workflow, helping us manage our tasks efficiently. However, like any software, there are a few areas where it could improve, and one such aspect is the user experience during lunch breaks.

Our team primarily uses Chromebooks, and while the SaaS solution generally meets our needs, there are some nuances compared to the full Windows client. The most significant issue we've encountered is the need for users to restart the application after our lunch break. It's a minor inconvenience, and it doesn't overshadow the benefits of Cameyo, but it would be fantastic if this could be addressed in future updates.

**What problems is Cameyo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When searching for the right solution to enable access to our ERP software on any device, we originally began evaluating traditional virtual desktop products. After evaluating VMware and Citrix, it became clear that the complexity and cost of traditional Desktop as a Service DaaS and VDI products were not going to be a fit for Nordward’s needs.

To be honest, XenApp was so complex that we gave up after two weeks of trying to deploy it. With Cameyo we were up and running in just one day. We took another day of testing to ensure everything worked perfectly before rolling it out to our users, so within two days we were able to deploy, test, and take our whole legacy system live. That’s unheard of, especially when you consider of the complexity organizations have traditionally had to deal with when enabling virtual access to applications. But with Cameyo, it’s like they’ve absorbed that complexity and taken it off of the user’s plate.

Since transitioning to Cameyo and ChromeOS, we’ve experienced the following benefits:

Simple Scalability – ChromeOS Flex made it simple to convert our Windows PCs to ChromeOS, making it easy to scale based on our existing devices. And with Cameyo, as quickly as we could hand someone a Chrome device, they were up and running since we could publish and provide them access to any Windows applications they still needed to be productive.

Reduced Complexity – Cameyo dramatically simplifies both the initial deployment and the ongoing management of delivering a secure Digital Workspace. With Cameyo, we experienced at least an 80% reduction in time required for installation and ongoing maintenance. And ChromeOS Flex enables us to manage, track, and organize our users and devices quickly and seamlessly.

Cost-Effectiveness – ChromeOS Flex made it possible to transition to ChromeOS without having to invest a large amount upfront for new Chromebooks. And Cameyo brings dramatic cost savings compared to virtual desktop products based on the amount of time it saved us in deployment, time saved in ongoing management, and the fact that everything is included – we don’t need to tack on additional third-party tools.

User Experience – With Cameyo, our employees get to access the same desktop version of the software that they’re used to with absolutely nothing new to learn, so it’s a seamless user experience. And ChromeOS Flex has enabled us to deliver persistent Chrome meetings in between various geographical locations and remote workers to help build a better workplace culture.

There’s also a significant sustainability benefit of this setup as well.Nordward is deeply committed to sustainable business practices, and by transitioning to ChromeOS and Google Chrome we have the added benefit of utilizing Google’s green IT policies as well.

**What do you like best about Cameyo?**

Cameyo has quickly helped us deliver Windows applications to our fleet of Chromebooks using Progressive Web Application (PWA) technology. It integrates well with Google Workspace and Google Groups for provisioning users. From the user side, we chose to push icons to both the Chromebooks and Windows desktops, but you can also distribute URLs or configure a portal of applications. The support folks are quick to respond and flexible, too.

**What do you dislike about Cameyo?**

There is some fine-tuning to do with the application to get it to start up the Windows desktop application quickly for users. In our trial, it took 30+ seconds for each app to launch for each user, but after it is used for a while a builds a profile for that user, it is quicker. I think this is common, but it is something to communicate to the users. We deployed in the "bring your own cloud" model, and that takes an internal engineer to get it up and running, but they have a fully hosted version which I suspect is simpler to get going.

**What problems is Cameyo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been deploying Chromebooks, but as a 40+-year-old company, we have some legacy Windows applications that some people still need to use. Often, these are infrequently used but necessary. We can put that Windows application into Cameyo and deliver it as a PWA, streamed to the Chromebook, and the user can have the functionality they need that does not exist on a Chromebook. We plan on replacing Citrix with this too, which is used for a similar purpose but is more clunky.

Cameyo is an application that provides a modern interface for applications that were not build for cloud or a rich web interface. It bridges the gap to deploy solutions in the cloud without having to rearchitect the interface and gives a very rich experience for customers.

Cameyo is a great product and like any new SaaS product onboarding it will take a little time to work thorugh the nuances of legacy applications to make it all work in a rich cloud based interface.

We wanted to have our application that was primarily built for on-prem solution to have a rich cloud based interface replacing RDP and at the same time enable modern features like Single Sign on and be cloud agnostic.

Their support is very responsive and helpful. They are dedicated to helping you out with any issues that may be happening with the product. They were also very helpful with the initial set up.

**What do you dislike about Cameyo?**

There is slight input and visual delay. It is unrealistic to expect the experience to be the same as sitting at your own dedicated computer, but the delay is still there.

I would also like to see more usage information for their all cloud solution.

We are a school district with a Chromebook for every student. Chromebooks are not able to run every application that a Windows machine can. Cameyo helps fill in the gap for classes that cannot access the computer labs or for students who need high-end Windows machines at home for projects or homework.

**What do you like best about Cameyo?**

Cameyo has the best application virtualization solution on the market. We have used or POC'd multiple competitors and none compare to Cameyo. In terms of ease of implementation, UI and maintenance of the solution, Cameyo excels in all those areas. While the solution is clearly best in class, the support level we have received has also been top-notch. They quickly respond to our feedback and even enhance the solution where it makes sense.

**What do you dislike about Cameyo?**

I do not have any negative comments regarding Cameyo other than that we did have to purchase their solution through a 3rd party, and we would have preferred to deal with their team directly on the purchasing front.

We develop  sophisticated desktop software, Cameyo virtualizes that software for us and delivers it through a web browser.

**What do you like best about Cameyo?**

The financial institutions I service have very strict firewalls.  All remote systems like RDP, VNC, Logmein, Citrix Virtual desktop, and Azure Virtual desktop are blocked.  These services sent over custom ports are also blocked by layer filtering. Cameyo allows me to publish a legacy desktop application in a web browser over custom ports that are not blocked. Cameyo enables remote managers to see only their specific published applications and data. The segregation of user accounts and services is comprehensive in that no user knows the other user exists.  No other application has even come close to this functionality.

**What do you dislike about Cameyo?**

The setup of a new user to the web interface has a number of steps. More steps than simply adding an AD account. However, considering this process is performed only once per user the time is minimal.

**What problems is Cameyo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cameyo has enabled my financial institutions to access an application that would otherwise be impossible. The approval process for adding database servers and clients to a desktop is prohibitive.  Camey circumvents that process.

Cameyo effectively facilitates the requirements of backend infrastructure & operational overhead for our virtual applications. It's easy to set up administrative permissions, device portability configurations and security governance. Deployments take only a few minutes to be provisioned for use & compatibility doesn't rely on our device specifications.

**What do you dislike about Cameyo?**

I didn't find anything as a dislike while using VAD services offered by Cameyo. It adheres to zero-trust policies to empower our remote platform operations. Depending on our requirements, we can scale up or ramp down the access to any virtual application.

**What problems is Cameyo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cameyo platform makes it easy to manage our sessions, handle scalability & load-balancing needs and cope with failover issues. VAD platform is effective in security posture preservation & we can authenticate from any location & on any device. It enables us to access business-critical applications securely & organize our remote/hybrid work model in our enterprise.

**What do you like best about Cameyo?**

Unquestionably, Cameyo provided our company with a cost-effective transition, the flexibility, security and simplicity necessary to face all the daily challenges without depending on the type of device or operating system you use. Let's not leave out the issue of corporate security...It doesn't matter who uses the current tools knows that there are many variables that the Super Bosses don't visualize and neither do the users... Cameyo, unlike him, solved this.

With strong energy of innovation and simplicity in functionality, together with an excellent level of service and response. Above all honesty (know-it-alls always end up blaming others) here they accompany you in the process, they investigate and you feel that commitment.

As a company we must provide operational continuity to our users, no matter where they are or what they are doing... we are a central part of the business engine and Camyo understands that... today I have happy users without resistance or resistance to change because the confidence has increased in us.

After reviewing countless proposals that were supposed to solve everything, I had to carefully check the fine print... when I made the decision and had to present it internally, I saw many questions faces... what does the fine print say? where is the trick? Do others offer the same? And is it really easy to handle? I would bore you with all the questions... I answered one by one and a few days later we began to operate with Cameyo and objectively so far we have had a very successful operation.

Its power in functionality and its ease of use for all workers does not give many contrary arguments... we would like the price to be better, yes! Who wouldn't... we would like it to be more fancy... maybe... but trying to find bad things where you have discovered the ease of scaling all your systems to any device and with high levels of security... would be difficult

Cameyo gives IT executives and users a complete solution... why?
If you are small, medium or Big, you are tied to your legacy systems... upgrading is not always an alternative... you invent or add thousands of intermediate applications to subsidize your shortcomings...
Here Cameyo tells you... connect to our cloud or the one you choose even if it is On-Premise... and through Cameyo you will be able to access your system from anywhere on the planet in a simple, secure and flexible way... what! Do you ask yourself??? I did it too... and my incredibility lasted until I tried it... cell phone, tablet, laptop.... even from bookstores with computers...

--> So goodbye to the problems of the Operating System
--> Goodbye to the problems of lost or stolen computers
--> I no longer JUST need to go to the office to be productive

Finally, my team and I switched to ChromeOS and said goodbye to the high costs of licenses, antivirus and software...

Cameyo's support team was there every step of the way. Any questions or issues we had were promptly solved or responded to.  Cameyo's service is quality and won't break the bank for smaller companies in comparison to some of the larger competitors.

From my company's perspective, there hasn't been a downside to using Cameyo's service. As long as your development team is willing to put in the work on things Cameyo cannot control, they will do their best to come up with solutions to other issues.

Cameyo helping us set up a cloud solution for our applications allowed our development team to spend more time upgrading the applications instead of trying to come up with a solution of our own. We had some unique needs and we were able to talk to Cameyo about each need and come up with a solution. Some of these applications included very large vb6 applications with heavy database use.

We use Cameyo to deliver distance learning courses to attendees around the world. Cameyo allows us to present software to attendees that they may not be able to install on their own computers for whatever reason and make it available to them via any common browser. Without the Cameyo platform we wouldn't have been able to pivot to distance learning through the pandemic and it has become a day to day tool

**What do you like best about Cameyo?**

We needed a way to bring a multitude of legacy apps into the cloud, without any redevelopment, so that our platform could access those data sources and so that our customers could access all of their critical data in a real-time cloud environment. We also needed to do so in a way that would scale to support a growing global customer base.  

We reviewed several other platforms but we chose Cameyo because, in our testing, Cameyo proved to be the best platform for enabling third-party apps to scale globally, regardless of the customer’s geographic location or their country’s data privacy laws.

Cameyo’s virtual application delivery platform enabled us to fully deploy within days, while ensuring that we could give customers a seamless user experience by enabling them to access the full desktop version of the software they’re used to, from any HTML5 browser on any device. 

Also, a few years back wedecided to migrate to AWS. This decision meant that our solution providers would need to be able to support the migration as well. Cameyo’s platform gave us complete freedom to utilize Cameyo in any cloud, hybrid, or on-premises environment – making it one of the most flexible virtual application delivery platforms on the market. 

When we decided to migrate to AWS, Cameyo’s ability to operate in AWS was critical. Cameyo enabled us to quickly and easily self-host their platform in our instance of AWS without the need to install additional gateways or appliances. We only needed to spin up a Windows Server in AWS and install Cameyo on it. It’s really impressive how simple they’ve made it.

And while AWS is our cloud partner of choice globally, it’s comforting to know that if we have a customer that needs to operate in a country with strict data privacy laws where AWS doesn’t have local data centers, Cameyo gives us the flexibility to support customers in any environment.


**What do you dislike about Cameyo?**

Support of Cameyo is great but sometimes getting proactive notifications with lead times will be great!

**What problems is Cameyo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

he power of our  AKM Enterprises Inc. (DBAMoblize) suite is exponentially increased based on the number of data sources it can tap into to analyze. And to provide a seamless, single source of truth experience for our users, we needed to bring the functionality of many disparate apps together within the Moblize platform. However, the oil & gas industry is infamous for its reliance on legacy third-party Windows apps that don’t play well together. 

There are a lot of specialized apps in the oil & gas industry, many of which are very good at one thing or solve one specific problem – and most of those apps are Windows-based and only run on Windows desktops. We needed to take all of these legacy desktop apps and bring them into a cloud environment so that anyone, from anywhere, can access them on any device – even tablets and non-Windows laptops.

We were trying to figure out how to integrate many disparate third-party Windows apps into our platform. And not just integrate them, but to be able to seamlessly scale all of those apps globally, too. And that’s where Cameyo helped us out. 

Regarding the benefits of Cameyo, I’d say the top ones are:

Rapid Deployment – From a business perspective, it’s all about time to market. From the time when we first discovered Cameyo, to the time it took us to test, to the time we were fully deployed – that whole process was just a couple of weeks. The actual deployment of Cameyo took only a couple of days. The fact that Cameyo is so much less complex than other solutions enabled incredibly quick time to market.

Partnership – The real test of a successful business partnership is how that partner supports you not just in good times, but in bad times. Cameyo has really been responsive to our changing needs throughout the pandemic, going the extra mile from a support perspective, and even giving us additional discounts when needed as we weather the pandemic-induced market conditions. 

Cost Savings – Even without the discounted pricing, Cameyo is by far more cost-effective compared to the other solutions we tested. Not only is Cameyo’s pricing more attractive, but where we really see the cost savings is the overall reduction in complexity and the time required to manage the solution on an ongoing basis. I’d say Cameyo reduces total cost of ownership related to integration complexity and management by at least 25 percent.

It allows us to use the few windows apps we need to run our business via the browser and gives us the confidence to switch to a full Chromebook office. It simply works.

**What do you dislike about Cameyo?**

It did take a little ramp-up time for my team and little training for the best way to use it.  Occasionally it has a few performance issues at start-up, but after a few seconds, it is back to normal.

**What problems is Cameyo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have to do some work occasionally with MSSQL, and we are using Chromebooks, allowing us to do that seamlessly.  We tried other browser-based database query tools, and the team preferred access via Cameyo as more familiar to them.

**What do you like best about Cameyo?**

The solution is simple to set up and manage.  We've used other Virtual Desktop / Virtual App delivery solutions in the past and Cameyo's solution provides just as many benefits without all of the complexity.

**What do you dislike about Cameyo?**

Cameyo can't handle every use case.  If your Windows app needs to access local resources (USB devices, serial connections), it's not a good fit.  That being said, it works perfectly for Microsoft Office and Client-Server applications, which is 90% of our applications.

**What problems is Cameyo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are simplifying our IT service delivery by standardizing on web-based applications delivered via Chromebook endpoints.  This reduces complexity for both our end users and our IT staff.   With VDI, users have to deal with 2 different desktops (Chrome OS, and Virtual Windows) and that can be confusing.  With VDI, our IT staff has to deal with the complex infrastructure on the backend.  Cameyo allows us to deliver legacy Windows applications to our users without compromising our goal of reducing complexity.

**What do you like best about Cameyo?**

During the pandemic, we needed to quickly and securely deliver access to all of our applications to all of our students on any device - which is why we turned to Cameyo..

With Cameyo we were able to go from starting our trial, to getting it set up, and running our applications on Cameyo all within a day – with no technical expertise. I went from losing all of my students to being able to deliver the rest of the term’s programs virtually. This was a huge relief as our parent’s pay in advance so we could give them the sessions they paid for already plus show them that, through the simplicity of Cameyo, their children could still be helped to get in front and stay in front academically.

Frontrunner was hosting all of its education applications on Cameyo, making it simple for our students to access those applications no matter what device they are using from home.

Cameyo’s simplicity is key because if the delivery system adds complexity to the student’s experience, that could easily distract from the learning process. But it really couldn’t be simpler with Cameyo. All I needed to do was provide students with a link to the applications they needed to access via Cameyo, and they used the full desktop version of the application from their browser. I can then walk them through the lesson virtually over Zoom, all while knowing they have seamless access to the applications they need for those lessons

**What do you dislike about Cameyo?**

Nothing. The only problem was from the poor internet system the previous government forced on us to protect the Murdoch's business.

**What problems is Cameyo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are an afterschool tutoring franchise that runs on our own suite of online learning tools we provide as part of our learning programs, but those were designed to complement the students’ in-person tutoring sessions at one of our six centres. So when the COVID-19 outbreak occurred and mandatory quarantines went into place, preventing students from attending, we found ourselves in a distressing position.

Overnight, nearly 100 percent of the parents called to cancel their students’ next term and ongoing tuition. Without being able to attend their individualised tutoring sessions at our centres, it didn’t make sense for them to continue paying for our program. Just like that, our business was gone.

We immediately realised it needed to establish a completely remote learning program so that we could continue to provide its students with ongoing education while also protecting them throughout the COVID-19 outbreak. We not only needed the ability to schedule direct tutoring sessions with students over the video, but also the ability to provide all of our software applications – some of which are proprietary – to all students, no matter what devices they were using at home.

Our entire business runs on a series of desktop applications and paper-based activities, and without them, we are not able to deliver our unique education programs to our students. 

Without Cameyo, we would have lost our entire business. Even though we’re still working on getting the rest of our students back, we wouldn’t have been able to offer the online program at all without Cameyo’s platform. Cameyo literally saved my business.

In addition to helping to deliver an online learning experience in the near-term during the COVID-19 crisis, we’ve also realized a new opportunity that Cameyo can help the centre pursue. First, we plan to expand the use of Cameyo out to our franchisees to help protect them from losing their students as well. And I also plan to use Cameyo to offer new remote learning programmes moving forward, which enables me to open up a new revenue opportunity by serving students who can’t physically make it to one of our locations.

**What do you like best about Cameyo?**

Within two months of deploying Cameyo, we had already seen a complete return on investment. While the elimination of aging infrastructure alone reduced our IT team’s costs significantly, the time savings had a similar impact on ROI. For example, the previous business applications course (teaching Excel and PowerPoint skills) was running on eight-year-old machines, and to get that lab up and running took 80 hours of labor. With Cameyo, it’s zero hours. Plus we don’t need a $35,000 lab to host it. But there are also unquantifiable benefits that are just as important, like being able to tell a school principal that we can now set up new courses for them without having to set up costly new labs. And that gets to the heart of the matter – the ability to deliver a greater educational experience for our students without having to worry about which devices they are using, and the location of those devices. Cameyo took the requirement of the OS away from the app. Now we always have access to all of the apps we’ve invested in without the burden of any particular OS. Students don’t have to go to a ‘PC Lab’ just so they can use Windows apps like Excel – now Excel is just an app, which our students can use from anywhere. For this reason, Cameyo is the centerpiece of our transition to a cloud-based infrastructure.

**What do you dislike about Cameyo?**

It may take staff a bit of time to transition to shifting desktop apps to the cloud. Cameyo is an easy-to-use product, but when making a workflow shift for staff, having a more formal course/walkthrough/tutorial available to staff might ease the transition to the product.

**What problems is Cameyo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Earlier this school year, we set out to determine the utilization of our legacy infrastructure – especially our PC labs which were supporting legacy Windows apps. Our research revealed that only four legacy applications were still being utilized, and the utilization of those few apps was quite low. However, the faculty and students still utilizing those legacy apps were adamant that access to those applications needed to be maintained. We were supporting nearly 700 PCs, most of which were seven to eight years old. We had no idea that we were pouring time and money into supporting all this aging infrastructure, all for just a few legacy apps. This created a unique problem for us because it made sense to eliminate the costly and aging infrastructure we were maintaining based on the low utilization – but not at the cost of losing functionality that was important to some of our students’ educations. We quickly realized that we needed a solution to bridge the gap between ensuring consistent access to legacy apps for students, faculty, and staff while also reducing time and money spent on infrastructure. We also needed a solution that would align with their overall goals. Once I saw what Cameyo could do, I was impressed. But once I realized the impact of the Google Integration, I knew this was the solution for us. Being able to drive all apps directly from the cloud, and having this completely integrated with all of our G Suite settings, that’s just key.
Since deploying Cameyo, we’ve seen impressive results:

Elimination of Infrastructure – This alone was worth it. The ability to get rid of our legacy systems has been a big cost savings.

Applications Anywhere, on Any Device – The ability to deliver these legacy applications on any device, not only on these old machines, is huge. Now our students have access to these apps all the time, from anywhere. Now we can grow our legacy application support and offer new courses for those apps – like teaching kids basic Excel and PowerPoint skills – because we don’t have to maintain a PC lab to offer those courses.

Reduction in Support Time and Costs – We’re a lot more nimble in our ability to deliver applications. This gives us massive flexibility and saves us a lot of time since we don’t have to support all of these requests to get faculty and students access to particular apps. Even just taking the time to install an app on 15 machines – that’s a lot of time. For example, when trying to spin up VMware solutions, that took us a solid three days. That’s compared to the hours it took to get started with Cameyo.

**What do you like best about Cameyo?**

After exploring a free trial of Cameyo and seeing how simple it was to publish our application with Cameyo, we selected Cameyo to provide our customers with access to the full ProSolutions platform on any device, from any browser.

Our initial testing went incredibly smoothly. We needed our customers to be able to use the application just as if it were installed locally, and that’s exactly the experience they have now with Cameyo. Our users just login from our website, or save a link to their desktop, and it opens the app in their browser – they don’t even have to know that it’s not local.


**What do you dislike about Cameyo?**

The only thing I 'disliked' turned out to not be a concern at all.  Originally I was worried about the accessibility of their support team but my concerns have proven to be unfounded.  In the rare occasions that there has been an issue, their support team was instantly on top of it and provided near instant results.

**What problems is Cameyo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At ProSolutions we designed our software with the philosophy that each spa and salon owner should have software that enables them to run their business their own way, rather than conforming to a software company’s methods. As we saw more of our customers moving to the cloud, it became apparent that we needed to extend that philosophy towards web-enabling our software in order to meet customer needs.

In addition to demand from our existing user base, we also saw a host of new companies spinning up simplified web-based versions of their software. Despite the lack of functionality of those new “competitors”, the market was becoming very noisy. We have long had the most feature-rich platform and had become the standard in the industry, but we realized we had to web-enable our offering in order to remain competitive.

We received a quote that told us it would cost between $3-5 million to redevelop our platform for the web, and it would take 12-18 months. And in the end, it would likely only have had around 80% feature parity with our existing version. There was no way we were going to pay millions of dollars, only to provide our customers with less functionality than they were used to.

We have been using Cameyo for a couple of years now, and the main benefits we’ve seen are:

Simple Cloud Enablement – With Cameyo we were able to quickly and easily provide our customers with access to our app from any browser, rather than spending millions of dollars and more than a year redeveloping the app.

High Performance – Our customers are able to experience ProSolutions with the same responsiveness as if it were a local app, thanks to Cameyo.

Cost Control – Cameyo’s ability to dynamically expand as demand requires is amazing. Knowing what the cost is going to be as our user base grows is critical for managing our service.

Cameyo’s Virtual App Delivery approach enables us to deliver any Windows (or internal web apps) to any device, including all Chrome devices, right from the browser (or as PWAs). And with Cameyo we’re able to do so on a global scale. 

Cameyo’s platform plays a critical role in enabling our Digital Workplace strategy by removing the legacy application roadblocks that were preventing widespread Chrome adoption here at Sanmina. Now our employees can seamlessly access all of their business-critical applications – even our ERP apps that are not directly compatible with Chrome devices – right from the browser with Cameyo. Cameyo’s Virtual App Delivery platform is the perfect blend of simplicity, a seamless user experience, and advanced security.

Cameyo is a key element in enabling our long-term Chrome Enterprise strategy. The fact that Cameyo has deep partnerships and integration with Chrome Enterprise and Google Cloud Platform makes this an even more strategic fit.

There is nothing that comes to mind that I dislike.

**What problems is Cameyo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While many of the applications we use internally are web-enabled, we still have a few critical applications – like ERP and Warehouse Management – that would not work on Chrome devices. That’s when we knew we needed a Digital Workspace solution that would enable our employees to access all of the apps they need to be productive from anywhere on their device.

A key piece of our decision to move to Chrome Enterprise was its incredible performance, security, and the way that it helps simplify workflows. We were not willing to adopt any solution that added complexity, hindered our employees’ productivity, or sacrificed security in any way. We decided that a Virtual Application Delivery approach to Digital Workspaces would provide the best experience for our employees, especially as we migrated to Chrome devices. 

We also plan to move more of our workloads to Cloud Platforms over time, so we needed a Digital Workspace platform that was flexible enough to give us the option to deploy in both our existing data centers and in the Cloud. 

In terms of how we’re benefiting from Cameyo:

Reduced Cost – Cameyo’s Virtual App Delivery platform provides us with cost savings in a variety of ways. First, there are the cost savings of moving to Chrome, to begin with – which reduces our total device cost by 40% or more – which we could not have done without Cameyo. There are also the cost savings that comes from the amount of time and effort Cameyo helps us save when it comes to setting up each end user. We can just provide users with a Chromebook and they are up and running in minutes.

But there’s also a significant cost saving associated with how much Cameyo reduces our support costs. Even if a user has a hardware issue, we can simply issue them a new Chromebook and they can sign in and access everything immediately with no downtime.

Better User Experience – With Cameyo, we can move our employees over to Chrome devices without disrupting their workflows. Cameyo’s platform enables us to give our employees access to the full desktop version of their legacy Windows applications on any Chrome device, but instead of the app needing to be physically installed and managed on each device, Cameyo provides access to those apps through the browser. For our employees, the experience is seamless. We’ve surveyed users to collect feedback on their experience using their apps through Cameyo, and the results were phenomenal.

Ease of Use – Deploying Cameyo was remarkably simple, and we had our applications installed and published with Cameyo in no time. Session management, load balancing, failover, etc. – it’s all handled by Cameyo, so all we had to focus on was the apps we wanted to publish. It was very easy to get set up, and ongoing management is a breeze – especially when compared to traditional Virtual Desktop approaches.

Increased Security – One of the biggest draws of migrating to Chrome Enterprise was its security, so we had to find a Virtual App Delivery platform that would preserve our security posture. The fact that Cameyo has a zero-trust security model baked in at its core just adds additional layers of security so that we can confidently enable our employees to work from anywhere, on any device, with the utmost security

It allows us to present apps to the Internet securely via a browser, and we're able to achieve this from an on premises Cameyo installation. In addition, Cameyo has been helpful and flexible in allowing us to tailor the solution to our specific needs.

I have not yet encountered a feature or aspect that fails to meet expectations, but we are basic in our use cases. Setting up an on premises installation is time consuming and can have its difficulties.

Cameyo has worked with us over the years to solve issues with our infrastructure and how it interfaces with their product. This is where our environment has proven to be the issue (e.g. the web proxy or VPN in use), but Cameyo have developed new solutions to combat these, even though the issues were on our side! Exceptional service.

User Friendly and Intuitive. The entire setup is effortless; everything takes a button click. The support provided is good, and they are always willing to help.

The help section and KB could be better organised. There is a long of information, but they seem to be scattered around and getting to them at times is slightly cumbersome.

**What problems is Cameyo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provides a simple but powerful platform to make VCL applications to the internet in a Super quick time without any significant code changes and offers excellent security. The concept of Cameyo elastic servers on the cloud is a thoughtful and fantastic feature that dynamically allocates/deallocates resources based on the load.

There is nothing of major importance that I dislike so far. Maybe some slightly better reporting on users but this is not an real issue.

Having spoken to other Cameyo customers during my research, I now say the same that the Cameyo team is very helpful and the product is smooth

A quick and affordable way to provide cloud-based access to our software. Our software is desktop based, so for leads wanting to trial the software, often they would need IT depts involved which causes delays. Cameyo will hopefully remove this barrier and allow for instant (but controlled) access to a our trial, so trial conversions can increase
