One of the biggest advantages of Calljmp is how it lets us define and manage multi-step workflows in a clean and structured way without overcomplicating the orchestration layer. Instead of stitching together different tools and writing glue code for every step, we can describe workflows in TypeScript and rely on the runtime to handle execution and coordination. This makes it much easier to standardize how we build AI-powered features across different projects. Another thing we value is visibility. Built-in observability helps us debug faster and understand how workflows behave in real scenarios, which is especially important when working with external APIs and LLMs. **What do you dislike about Calljmp?** Calljmp is clearly built for developers, so there is a bit of a learning curve at the beginning. Teams need some time to understand how to structure workflows properly to get the most out of it. Good thing the Calljmp team is very supportive and they have and in-product AI Assistant that can guide through those who need help with the initial setup. **What problems is Calljmp solving and how is that benefiting you?** Calljmp helps us deal with the complexity of running AI workflows that involve multiple models, APIs, and custom logic. Without it, we would need to build and maintain a lot of custom orchestration code. Using Calljmp reduces development time, makes our systems more consistent, and helps us scale and maintain AI solutions more efficiently across different projects. ### 2. That makes it much easier to connect agents to real internal systems, APIs, and data sources. We also value the observability side — logs, traces, and run history make it easier to understand what the agent is doing and improve it over time. **What do you dislike about Calljmp?** The main challenge at the beginning was understanding how an agentic backend differs from a traditional backend or a simple automation tool. There is a bit of a mindset shift involved. More ready-made templates and prebuilt examples for common use cases would make onboarding even faster. **What problems is Calljmp solving and how is that benefiting you?** Calljmp helps us reduce the effort required to build AI-powered workflows that interact with real backend systems. I was so tired of my agents crashing mid-task and having to pay for the same API tokens all over again. Now, if there’s a timeout or a flicker, it just picks up right where it stopped. It saves a lot of time and money, and I don't have to build custom logic for every single retry. It’s basically a stateful backend for agents that just works out of the box. **What do you dislike about Calljmp?** A decision maker needs to have a dev to get things going as it is a dev-first platform. Which is actually a plus on the long run but wanted to mention anyway. **What problems is Calljmp solving and how is that benefiting you?** "We had problems managing state, multi-step logic, and observability. Most tools didn’t give enough control. Calljmp made it easier to structure everything as code, which improved reliability and made debugging much more straightforward.
