It's like a Google search engine for your own business documents and past project data. Can quickly find drawings or specifications by keyword search. As a salesman, that quickly puts me in touch with similar products or projects for cost reference, lead-time, reflection items, etc. No more clicking endlessly through folders on the server. **What do you dislike about CADDi Drawer?** Having to convert everything to PDF is probably the biggest downside. If there were a way, in the future, to enable uploads of AutoCAD drawings / excel files / word documents / etc. that would be a massive time saver for your customers. **What problems is CADDi Drawer solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have had issues with errors slipping through in our electrical hardward designs. We are using CADDi as a way to search for and compare similar controls systems as a way of proofreading controls designs. Looking to the future, this is a very wonderful product that can digitize and capitalize on each department's knowledge and skills. Every time I deposit data into the program, it becomes more valuable to the future of my company. I appreciate the ability to look back at drawings and old data with a greater ability to search than I would have in my normal file explorer. In addition, I cannot more highly reccomend the team that comes with the product. NIck and the support team have constantly been at work improving the environment within CADDi for my company for the last 7 months. Constantly. If I had doubts about the viability of the software for my company in the beginning, they have been erased as it has become gradually more customized to our use case. It's a really cool software on it's own, but when the team begins to tool it to fit the application it really begins to make sense. This is an aspect of the system that allows me to maintain visuals on all ends of my processes to present and push out consistently reliable numbers to my clients. From what would usually take one to two hours to complete an extensive quote brings it down to an average hour. The ease of searching using key words also makes it seemless for me to maintain positive workflow. Additionally, I really appreciate the immediate customer support provided as it allows me to adjust or easily integrate quickly with the system. With everything considered, the easy of implementation allows me to frequently use CADDi in my day to day. **What do you dislike about CADDi Drawer?** With CADDi Drawer still in the early stages there are a number of features that will need working on, but are not detrimental to the everyday workflow. At this point in time, it may just be adjustment to how the system can allow us to search very specific areas of our projects during quotation. As with all teams, new information integration is always a challenge and I think the CADDi team has handled this well through their involved customer service experience. Even after scanning, we were organizing and storing in folders. Having both paper and digital data resulted in a lot of confusion on our team, and many tasks relied on people's memory. There were some problems, such as the loss of knowledge due to employees leaving, technical professionals who couldn't be transferred because of their knowledge, employees whose job became searching for drawings, and misinterpretation of customer requirements. However, we had created a culture that accepted these problems. By introducing Drawer, we achieved 70% paperless operations, reduced drawing search time by 95%, and generated positive effects across all levels of the company. The cost-effectiveness even increased fivefold. But the biggest benefit was the transformation of our organizational culture. The success of reevaluating what was considered normal work made us consider more innovations. ### 9. For example, even if the text "ASSY" exists somewhere, picking up a huge amount of search noise will not tell you whether "ASSY" is the title name of the drawing, part of the drawing number, or an assembly instruction within the drawing. CADDi Drawer has a function to extract attribute information from drawings, making it possible to find what I'm looking for more easily. While I think the similar shape search function is also excellent, the attribute extraction function is the most widely used function for our company. **What do you dislike about CADDi Drawer?** Drawer may not be suitable for departments that do not have a ton of drawing assets. CADDi could expand the variety of services offered to reach these departments. **What problems is CADDi Drawer solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're able to minimize oversight in our searches, and reduce a ton of wasted time when searching. ### 10. We have been handling a large number of parts and most of them are "Made to order" We spend a lot of time ensuring price consistency. Due to unique requests or usage, I was wondering if it is feasible to meet our requests, but well-experienced Caddi staff asked what we would like to do and they conducted us so that the Caddi drawer became very close to what we expected. We would like to improve the functions for the future by working with Caddi staff. They also give us continuous master programs after setting up.
